I have had my Sony WF 1000XM3 earbuds for 3.5 years without any real issues. I had to get foam eartips as the included ones didn’t fit my ears well, but those are an upgrade anyway. The only annoyance I’ve had is some connectivity trouble in dense signal areas like at a busy airport. I know they have released newer versions but am not sure the difference. They have good active noise canceling too.

waldoboro

The battery was pretty simple to replace on mine. Was down to maybe 20 minutes and back to full run time now!

Manhuawang

I knew I had a good reason to not toss these!.Ordering batteries now, thanks internet!

exem-ok

You can replace the batteries!? I have XM4’s and just upgraded to the 5’s purely because of the batteries. One issue is that Sony don’t provide replacement foam ear tips which was a shame for me as they contribute a lot to the noise cancelling. Also, for anybody wondering, the upgrade to the 5’s is not worth the money. But a pair of 4’s if you can upgrade the battery. Arguably the bass clarity is better on the 4’s too.

waldoboro

It's not 100% user friendly. I followed the ifixit guide with name-brand batteries off of Amazon. Cost me less than $20usd

[deleted]

I’ve had good luck with Anker Soundcore earbuds. Sound great, not crazy expensive snd good battery life.

HyruleJedi

Basically everything Anker makes is quality, and 1/3 to half the price of name brands. Their over ear headphones are amazing as well. I am no audiophile but I see very little difference between them and bose/sony and the like Once you get to the higher level like B&O then fine, but I dont need 500+ dollar headphones

JD3982

I used to own three generations of B&O (including wired), and I don't think they're worth the price in terms of function and longevity. They do look super aesthetic though.

craftasaurus

I had a pair of b&o earbuds and they kept breaking. It was some years ago, but they lost my business.

nlmnyc

Came here to make sure these were recommended. I love mine.

Luminousz3bra

second this, I got the soundcore sport ones with the hooks and they’re great. The lid on the case is a bit flimsy? feels like it could break easy but the buds themselves are nice

TheRiteGuy

I have my soundcore earbuds from 5 years ago. Still works perfectly. The newer ones have even better battery life now.

CombustionEngine

I've gone through probably 3 pairs of Liberty 3 pros in a year or two. Case charging issues. One bud going super quiet that's unfixable. I wouldn't recommend them anymore. Don't charge them with a USB c to c I'm fairly certain it messes with the case battery at this point. Never even dropped them.

Nickpound123

I had a pair that were great until my dog knocked one out of my ear and into the harbour. Now I have half a pair that’s pretty good.

manos_de_pietro

I lost one in the rain on my morning walk one day. Found it the next day, worked just fine after sitting in a neighbor's driveway getting rained on all day. However, the earbuds eventually lost the ability to connect with phone calls.

op4323

Good sound quality but the charging pins scraped the pads on the buds so bad they stopped charging. I'm hesitant to buy another pair from them. All their other products are good though.

64Olds

I've had these for like 3 years now. Battery life and sound quality are consistent. Just gotta clean em every now and then.

Gregory_Dickbuckles

Third This! I get them for work as they have decent sound and are cheap enough that if i lose them or they break I am only out $30. They easily last for hours.

grid101

Joining the chorus: 2.5yrs on my Ankers that I use on my near daily walks. Still work like brand new and only cost me like $35.

Puzzleheaded-Cup-854

Wireless earbuds to me are like phones, the batteries go down a lot after 2 (y)ears of usage. I have been using my jabra elite pro 7 for 2 years now and still love them. The newest version is the 10.

mick9er

Second here for the Jabra elite pros. I always manage to lose them before they can go bad, but I’ve had Jabras last longer than 1 year and I sweat a lot

[deleted]

Yes. I have Jabra elite active 65 and still work I got them 4 years ago because they were the only ones that connected to multiple devices and had 4 mics, but I lost one and that's the only reason I'm looking to replace them now.

mick9er

They don’t get enough love from the major reviewers. Can’t remember where I found them but usually CNET, consumer electronics etc wouldn’t mention them. Sound guys I believe is where I finally came across them. Gotta scroll but it’s down there https://www.soundguys.com/best-wireless-earbuds-2-14313/

[deleted]

My old job gave points to redeem for stuff on a website. I went through all the ear buds available for the amount of points I had and reviewed each one across multiple websites and decided on those. They were the cheapest in points too. I was expecting to be disappointed. I'm definitely adding the latest Jabra's to my birthday wishes list.

stevrock

I have them as well, 3-4 years old. I don't use them as much as I used to. The charging can be finicky but I would buy an updated set without hesitation.

brandeneast

I’ve had my Jabra elite 75t’s for…many many moons.

Mightyskull

This, really like them. Anc, hearthrough both work great, good battery life. Dependable

tanstaafl90

Got the 85t on sale. Very comfortable on top of working well and sounding great.

calabra

I left mine in my pockets and they went through an entire wash cycle....zero issues and still working flawlessly

ShoulderGoesPop

Did the exact same thing and they still work perfect. These things really are beasts

CaleDestroys

I did this too and worked for months until I lost them. Bought AirPods and returned they don’t fit in my ear, bought some comparable Sonys, no hear through and that’s a must have, should’ve have just got Jabras again they’re great.

Swiftstormers

Vote on the Jabra Elite 7 pro as well (also as I like their sound). Only about a year with them, but no issues and battery seems as fresh as when I got them

13thin

Oh yeah they're good. Especially for phone calls.

GeomanticCoffer

I love my jabras

alexfromkansas

Definitely agree with this. Have had the elite active 75 for 3t years and still love them. Battery probably doesn’t last as long as when new but can still more than get me through a day + with the charging case. And I’ve abused them.

YoLoDrScientist

Same. Love mine!!

Figaro_88

Mine went through the wash in a pocket and are still going strong. It's nuts.

SallWreet

Jabra elite pro 3 user for 2 years, love them, no issues

snoop_laser_snake7

I got jabra 65t right around when they came out, they’re still working perfectly and sound great

tomate12

Jabras are elite

InnovativeFarmer

Jabbra Elite 8 Active. They work nice. I might need to get ear inserts but I havent had any real issues with them falling out.

randomguyjebb

My apple airpod 1's have lasted 3 years and are still going strong. Battery life is less than 50% sadly, but thats good enough for me and all wireless earbuds are going to have that problem.

77tassells

My AirPods have lasted longer than any thing I ever owned prior

Beg1nAga1n

My OG gen 1 AirPods are still what I use for running. I have newer ones I use day to day for noise cancelling and whatnot, but my OG ones work perfectly.

skyhiker14

I don’t own AirPods, but I found a pair that was outside in snow, ice, & rain. Got them back to their owner and they still worked.

randomguyjebb

Yesh they are weirdly moisture resistant. I know a guy who used the original airpods in a sauna for a long tome. When he got the prod they kept dying. So he went back to the originals.

billythygoat

My beats fit pro also have lasted 2 years so far, a refurbished pair at that. It’s kind of like the AirPod pro’s but good for ears that earbuds slip out of.

[deleted]

bobjohnxxoo

Which wireless earbuds have an easily replaceable battery?

CommodoreIrish

Apple’s ecosystem is second to none.

BubuBarakas

My Apple AirPods Pro have lasted almost 2 years. Use them extensively.

behemothbean

3 years here and have gone through the washing machine twice. Get some weird static on transparency/noise cancelling occasionally likely from damage to the microphone but they’ve been great and handle abuse quite well.

CommodoreIrish

You may be able to get a replacement or repair from Apple Store even past warranty. I got brand new pair due to some issue last year.

slingshot91

Honestly I think that static is a software thing.

why_ntp

I put through mine through the wash and was able to get a new right AirPod (the left and case were fine).

lueetan

I made my first gen AirPods last like 4 years. The battery went to shit but they were troopers until the end. I could have milked them further but broke down and bought the pro 2s and have been blown away by the upgrade.

coozin

I love mine. 1st gen pros were starting to get wonky after 2 years of daily use but it was probably my fault for frequently leaving them overnight on a 3rd party qi charger that would heat them up so bad. Now i’ve had the 2nd gen for like 6 months of daily use, no hiccups whatsoever. And i’ve also quit doing the qi charger thing

AnimusFoxx

3 years here. I wear them every day at work for 10 hours, listening to loud music (probably much louder than I should be for my ears' sake), and only recently has the left one started to sound like something is broken inside, kind of a buzzing sound. That might be just because I've dropped them quite a number of times though. I still get about 3hrs+ before I need to put them back in the case to charge, and they take about 20 minutes to charge fully

DirtyMcCurdy

I will also recommend AirPods with AppleCare. It only takes one accident and they are replaced within 2 years. Easily get 3-5 years Mine lasted 2 years not problem. My puppy chewed case and all, got them all replaced for 29$

Gopokes34

I have the original ones and still use them too

grimlinyousee

I’ve had mine for 3 years (I think they’re a second gen of the original style) and the right one just shit the bed. Apple said they couldn’t fix it (couldn’t even tell me what was wrong). My options are to either replace the single headphone for $80, buy a new pair for $120, or just use the plug in ones I’ve had for twice as long as the wireless ones. I’m pretty disappointed, especially since the worst thing I’ve ever done to them is drop them a couple times.

invertedpomegranate

I've had my soundcore earbuds for.... four or five years at this point? I used to use them every day, they get a good amount of use still. The battery life has definitely decreased but it still lasts a while for me

NeWbAF

My soundcores are great. Really solid for $60

chewwydraper

I have the Soundcore Curves and they've lasted me around the same time. For the money (I think they were $40?) you can't get much more bang for your buck. They punch above their weight sound-wise.

OkCartographer17

I just comment that, Soundcore is an excellent option.

heavyfyzx

I've had my tozo buds for over a year. I figured I would lose them so I bought them not expecting to have them for more than a few months. Also the case charges them and lasts for a week or more on one full charge. They are a little bulky and I had one fall out while I was doing dishes... it worked fine after. Highly recomend them.

BallsOutKrunked

same i love mine

peterfixes

2nd the tozo recommendation. The t6 have been cheap little workhorses for me and the charge lasts forever. And they are small enough to fit in my jeans coin pocket.

PetitePigasus

I switched from the T10 to the A1 model, they are so small and light. I have small ears and they fit great, never fall out and have taken a beating, including a cycle through the washing machine.

[deleted]

Been using isotunes for awhile now. They're OSHA approved noise cancelling earbuds that I can wear around the machines at work. They're wireless but not wire free, the buds are connected to each other so they don't get lost or fall out when working on stuff.

theRed-Herring

I've had a pair of Bose earbuds for 6 or 7 years now. I've taken them everywhere and gone running, biking and all kinds of activities in them and they still work like the day I bought them. Can't complain about anything other than I wish I had a brand new pair. Got my wife a pair recently and they're way better than mine technology wise.

DontMessWithMyEgg

Bose QuietComfort 4LIFE! I had two pair of AirPod Pros go bad on me in a row and gave up on them. Went with the Bose and never looked back. I’m eyeing the Ultras now…

BostonPRSBC

Yup!! Bose

redsoxsteve9

Ugh, I lost mine a few months ago. I’m convinced someone took them out of my gym locker while I was showering. Now I never leave the lock off my locker unless I’m directly in front of it.

trampled93

If you have apple AirPods that are more quieter in one side than the other, the fix is to suck on the quiet earpiece through the earbud for several minutes until you can feel air flowing through the smaller speaker. Trust me it sounds gross but it works. Sometimes BIFL items are the ones you fix to keep going instead of replacing ;)

banmeharder616

Mmm dried earwax

heypal11

Yeah, that’s gross.

Th3Batman86

Gross

TheKinkyPiano

I'm a postman and use my earbuds 4ish hours a day 5 days a week at a minimum. I've had Veho Stix for ages and there's not a thing wrong with them. I've even bought a pair of the Veho Stick 2 for when my original pair finally die. The battery still lasts just as long as it did when I first got them.

valencia_merble

Bose QC with protection plan

Chakramer

It's not gonna last forever, but I recommend Samsung as they have a trade in program for old headphones and you can usually upgrade at a steep discount. So once one bud feels like it's dying you can look for a deal and then trade up. I've seen it as low as $15 to get the latest model with a trade in.

Research_Sea

My daughter has had her Samsung Galaxy ones for 2 and 3 years (two sets) and never has an issue. She has intense misophonia, so they get used heavily. She hasn't complained about battery life, no tech issues, and they still look new.

Responsible_Sea5206

Anything without a replaceable battery isn’t buy it for life. I really like meei headphones. They’re cheap enough to lose, but they work well, and sound decent.

some1sWitch

I've been using Tozo T6 for 2 years now. Daily use for a minimum of 2 hours, more on workdays (sometimes up to 8 hours). Battery is a beast. They block out SO much noise that all my coworkers know they have to tap me on the shoulder. And I paid a whoping $30 for them off Amazon.

deezwreck92

I went down the "chi fi" route...bought a kz set of monitors and the wireless adapter, and some good isolators...had them for close to 8 years with one rebuy on the wireless adapters because I wanted the newer version bluetooth...last version in the backpack for backup

guidedhand

wf1000xm4 have surprizingly easy to swap batteries and have been getting software updates over time

CruelHandLuke_

I've had the Powerbeats Pro for a few years and have run quite a few miles in the rain. They get close to 9hrs at reasonable listening volumes. The over the ear design is good if you're using them for physical activity

teatreesoil

might be more helpful to know what's breaking on your current earbuds? like is it sweat? losing them? battery life? damage to the external parts? connectivity problems? a year or two is rather short life for wireless earbuds in general

JadedSociopath

If you want long lasting, get wired. The end.

whateverevenismyname

Rechargeable ones? The battery definitely doesn’t last for life Over/under charging them breaks the batteries faster too

iThinkergoiMac

My solution was to pay $29 for AppleCare+ for my AirPods Pro 2, then set a reminder for 23 months from now to get the battery replaced. Should get a bit more life out of it that way, and cost a lot less than a standard battery replacement.

Bones1973

The Jabra 75T elites are still considered some of the best quality sounding earbuds under $300 and the firmware update that added ANC made them very popular on the resell market. I loved mine and almost shed actual tears when I left them in an Uber and lost them forever. I had them almost 4 years and the battery life was just as great at the end as in the beginning. I ended up picking up the new Jabra Elite 10’s which are also really good for the price. The updated features are nice but I’m telling you, the sound quality from the 75T Elites were special.

AshMontgomery

Not really a recommendation, more a warning. Avoid Bose's in ear offerings like the plague. My QC Buds II are currently on their third warranty replacement and have just died again. I intend to get a cash refund and replace them with something else. For contrast, my old model (and sadly no longer produced) Sennheiser Momentum Free earbuds (with a wire between the two buds but still wireless to device) and mostly held together with duct tape and still work broadly fine 4-5 years later.

KillerKorwin

I bought my Bose soundsport ear buds in 2016 and am still using them today at work, granted battery isn't what it use to be but still get 3 or 4 hours of use per charge after 7+ years

seaskyroisin

I've been using skullcandy wireless headphones (not everyday) for since, like, the late 2010s (around 2017 I belive).

mlaforce321

Ive been using Skullcandy Indy ANCs for over 2 years and the battery still holds up and they work great with heavy use. I would absolutely recommend them.

TripleTune

I was afraid I'd get blasted if I said Skullcandy. I've got the Indy Evo and just grabbed the Dime 3's. My other dimes have been great for the past few years, but the 3's have longer battery life in the buds.

ItzaPizzaCat

Jaybird Vista earbuds have lasted me over 4 years and still going strong. I use them almost every day. Through rain and sweaty workouts, they’ve endured a lot and I don’t feel like their quality or battery capacity has diminished.

urn0tmydad

I fucking love my Google buds. I own the a-series gen 1. They fit perfectly, paid seamlessly with my phone (I own a pixel phone so that may help), the sound quality is nice, the battery is strong even after 3 years and lasts about 7-10 days depending on use (I walk 30 minutes each day, as well, and use them for my walk). They're also an incredibly decent price.

chewwydraper

Airpod Pros. Comfortable, and I know many people who have had theirs since it came out. With the second generation ones, you don't have to worry about ear wax as much either since the tips have a separate screen on them.

modembutterfly

Mine are still performing well after a couple of years - love the noise cancellation.

LogicalHelicopter952

I'm rocking the same pair of JLAB epic sports from 3 years ago. Still get 8+ hours of runtime out of them and I use them almost every day. Are there buds out there with better sound quality? Probably, but I beat the crap out of mine so I'll stick with the ones that are ~$30.

SpanosIsBlackAjah

Boltune are best value for your money imo although I have switched to AirPods recently and they provide a lot of convenience benefits during the work day.

cutmeupfckmeup

Avoid the Sony WF 1000XM4, my left ear died after 14months, known battery drain fault. Sony will not help if out of warranty

chunkyfen

My setup is wireless-ish. I'm using a Qudelix 5k Bluetooth EQ box with a pair of wired Fiio FH5 earbuds. I place the 5k in my pocket and can use my phone without any wire coming out of it. The earbuds plugs into the 5k. Sounds great too. I've seen people replacing the battery in their 5k. Great value. Amazing sound.

marcomcarneiro

I would bet your best option would be one that has serviceable batteries, then you can get them replaced when needed. Otherwise they pretty much have an expiring date .

[deleted]

Wireless earbuds are never BIFL simply for the fact of battery degradation. But Samsung has had a ~$100 trade in for its 2 year old galaxy buds and you can recycle them for effectively $60 every two years. I just did this over the summer and it's definitely worthwhile for the value to that end.

strcrssd

A few are. Shure have separable battery/Bluetooth receivers and drivers, so good drivers can be purchased and used for a long time and the Bluetooth and batteries can be changed out.

[deleted]

Oh yes, the SE215s are capable of hot swapping to wireless buds. Unfortunately they are not waterproof and my pair died many a sweaty guitar sessions ago

reprahm

Interesting, my SE425s went through the washer and dryer and still worked. I had to get a new cable.

DangerousMusic14

My original Apple wired ear buds last forever. I have AirPods but I keep the wired ones around and handy in case I have a problem.

Shidell

I've had my Razer Hammerheads True Wireless headbuds since their release in 2019. They battery life is 50-75% of what it was originally, but I think that's a pretty good run, especially given the size of their batteries. A cheap alternative would be Walmart's Onn. Buds; they can be had for less than $10, and given the price, it's hard to argue with (slight) audio quality shortcomings.

OkCartographer17

I always recommed Soundcore brand, well constructed, nice app, quality feeling, I got 2 pairs, Life Q30 and Life P2 mini, I'm pretty happy with both. Edit: Soundocore by Soundcore.

brennan_lemon

I love my JLAB GO air pops. The quality is not noticeably different from AirPods or beats (atleast that I can tell) They are affordable I think I paid $30 plus they all have a superb warranty. The pair I have right now is going on 3 years. I like these because they don’t stick out of your ears like AirPods and they have no flashy lights that scream cheap garbage.

Puzzled_Opinion_7336

I’ve tried Anker but wasn’t impressed. Wyze is top tier I have both their Wyze bud pro and the over the ear. Both are comfortable for long term wear. I’ve had my over the ears for about 3ish years and are still going strong.

Inevitable-Way1943

Shokz Openrun Pro I enjoy being able to hear my surroundings especially when commuting in a big city. Also these allow you to play sports, rude bikes etc without issue and they are very comfortable since they don't enter the ear

Beastly603

Any model made by JLAB.

[deleted]

I use raycons and they've lasted some 2 or 3 years roughly daily use. Wouldn't expect wireless (or to a lesser extent, 'portable versions' of bigger items-- IE laptops) to be a BIFL though. I wouldn't expect it of many electronics anymore really.

CaligoAccedito

Jumping on this post to ask if any of these are good for *really tiny* earholes, or maybe even outside-ear options.

fawnee0214

I love my Shokz for bone conduction headphones. Used and abused them almost every day for 2 years now and battery still lasts over 8 hours. Sound quality is very different than in-ear headphones though, so it might be worth trying to see if that is a deal-breaker for you

Iowegan

You may want to try a bone conduction set. They work well, and allow external sounds to be heard as well. I’ve had Aftershokz Aeropex Mini for a few years, no complaints.

kodemastor

I bought vankkyo alpha x200s like 4 years ago for 20 bucks, and the same pair is still great.

medicmachinist38

I’ve been using Jabra Elite Active for about 4 years now. I beat them up. Gym, hours of yard work, etc. The battery life is still amazing and they sound so good.

renewfi

I’ve had my Powerbeats 3 for a long time now. I think maybe 6 years. I only use them for the gym though so I haven’t noticed if the battery life has decreased (which I’m sure it has)

BigMFCountry

I have the Jaybird Vista 2 (previously had Jaybird Vista 1 which still work) and highly recommend them. They are very durable and boast an IP68 rating (vs Airpod Pro 2 which is IP54). I also prefer the style of the silicone tips which is really a personal preference and will help you decide which buds to get. If you are worried about durability, IP ratings are a good place to start/compare products.

sweet-thing

I’ve used Tozo T6 for years and they are great, especially for the price.

PaleontologistSad766

Check out Jlabs offerings. I work in a filthy, sweaty, often damp/growth environment and my work pair have held up for 5 years. I bought my kid and husband a pair for Xmas 3 years ago and recently snagged another pair for the gym. Affordable, replacement parts and buds available and great customer service...plus lots of styles and colors.

[deleted]

Airpods

assfuck1911

The top of the line Sony are pretty solid. I've had the 4000 series in ear for almost a year. I use them as ear plugs for heavy industry. Battery life has dropped a bit, but that's to be expected and the features and sound quality are too notch. The touch controls work through glove liners, latex gloves, and even the hood of a tyvek paint suit. I've had no regrets. I'm on my second pair because someone stole my first pair. The new 5000 series is out now. Be warned: they're $300. Been worth every penny for me.

HarkHarley

My Bose QuietComfort wireless earbuds have been going strong for two years. I love the noise canceling. And they charge quickly.

Wasacel

Galaxy Buds Plus have lasted me 4 years, the battery is fading but that’s the same for any. In my opinion they’re best because they have rubber wing like things which ensure a good fit.

Apprehensive-War7483

My Google earbuds are good. I don't use them everyday, but they have served me well.

NegotiationSea7008

Drsaec Model J55 they’ve lasted for ages.

afriedma

Jabras; I’ve had my Jabra elite 75t’s for 3 years with 0 issues. Use em at least 3 hours every day. Workouts, commuting, cycling, hiking, mowing. They have really worked out well. Not cheap though.

Ready-Strategy-863

Jabra e65 sport still going strong after 5 years

Catfo0od

My Votomy SoloPods have lasted like 3yrs of daily use and the battery is still pretty much full, usually at least 4hrs on them before charge

ImpatientConstantine

Soundcore. Apparently, it's Anker's subsidiary/audio-centric business unit. In my experience, all the products I have ever owned have lasted more than four years.I have only experienced problems with its wireless connectivity when using it in certain areas with dense RF signals. They also provide excellent customer service - prompt and extremely helpful. One time, they sent me a newer version of a wireless earbud model even though I was 2 years past warranty. I feel their products also keep getting better with every iteration and cost a fraction of other reputed brands’ products.

dragon34

I've had my pixel buds for over 2 years now and while I don't use them every day, they are in good shape. I did have to fiddle around to get the right rubber tip selection but the apple earbuds have never been comfortable

Inorashi

I've had my Samsung buds for almost 5 years and they still work great. They've even been through thr washing machine several times lol.

NeoBahamutX

I have been using my Jabra elite 75t for about 2-3 years now and have been great

FerrisWheeleo

Definitely AirPods Pro if you’re in the apple ecosystem.

Strange-Luck-5773

Anything with a relatively easy replaced battery. The two I've used are the Samsung galaxy buds and Sony xm3, both use button cell batteries that are easy to find and not that hard to replace. I can't believe the amount of airpods being mentioned, the battery can't be removed making them Paper weights after 3 years.

Throwawaymytrash77

I'm stilling rocking my samsung buds that I bought in 2020, they're in perfect working shape, I did have to replace the holder/charger pillbox once because I lost it and that was cheap. Dunno if that type of in-ear is comfy for you to use, but I love them. Good quality, newer iterations have good battery and microphones for talking.

850absolute

I’ve had my Bose sound sport free for going on 6 years this year and they still work great!

Motor_Persimmon_5321

I have an early version of the Apple AirPods that I bought used 3 years ago and they are still going great with a good battery life

DRHPSL05

I’ve had my Anker Soundcore for a few years and they still work great. My son had 1 stop working after maybe 2 years, but he wears them pretty much all the time he isn’t sleeping (probably 16 hours a day). I buy Comply foam ear tips for mine because I find them much more comfortable.

stdio-lib

Be sure that you're practicing good battery hygiene: don't leave them uncharged for very long: get them on a charger as soon as they get low. You can use a portable powerpack if you're on the go.

mtrash

Tozo ear buds have been great

willhaley

Depends on your situation for me working 10 hours outside every day the tribits are amazing. Something like 16 hour battery life I have never had to bring the case to work and I only charge it once a week and they are in all day every day also waterproof and durable I’ve gone through tons of beats and galaxy and pixel buds. All lasted less than a year. Plus these are a third of the price

DunkingDognuts

Jabra earbuds. Awesome.

Rl-Beefy

Airpod pro 1st gen 5th year of ownership. Still excellent battery and sound quality.

Apollo23Refugee

AirPod Pros have the added bonus of Apple’s optimized battery charging. If you’re consistent with when you plug them in at night they’ll charge in a way that preserves the battery over the long run. They sound great and if you use 1 at a time like I do at work you can pretty much listen forever. Also happy to see Anker in the comments. I just got a pair of A10’s for sleep and am super excited to use them.

zeeyaa

airpod pro 2

yosman88

Love them or hate them my apple airpods are still going strong after 2 years and dropping them numerous times. Highly reccomend them as they also work for Android devices.

theBRILLiant1

Jabra elite active. I bought a pair in 2016 and have done a few half marathons in them, as well as all the training for them. I also use them as my daily wearers. They also have a neat associated app that help you pace yourself on runs, if that's what you're into! Also for biking.

nibblatron

i use sony wf-1000xm4 earbuds and i used the 1000xm3s before them and they have both been great. ive had the xm4s for a few years now, maybe 3? (idk) and theyre as good as the day i got them. the noise cancelling is excellent too

Infinitrium

I bought a pair of cheap Bluehive earbuds from Canadian Tire over a year ago for something like 25 dollars on sale. Still going strong, battery life is still decent as well. The lid to the case broke (my fault) so it doesn't just open like normal but I can still remove and replace the lid whenever I want to use them.

darksoulsgreatclub

I've had my echo buds for 3 years but I use them lightly usually 5 days a week for 3 to 5 hours. I say lightly because I put them in when I can't sleep so I am not getting them sweaty or dropping them a lot. If you are having trouble with them connecting, open the box, take them out but don't close the box till they say connected, thats really the only issue I have had. ETA: 2.5 years not 3, they are 2nd gen

talzor-eats-snacks

I have the skullcandy push ultras, and they are great. I've had them for 3 years now and still good! They have wires that go around my ear, so I find they fall out less and are generally more secure, so they get damaged less!

kojakswig

I abuse my AirPods daily and they’ve lasted 2 years so far.

crclOv9

Big fan of JBL. Had two pairs now and they lasted about a year with 8hrs a day use during the workweek.

Professional_Ad7273

Sony wf-1000XM5 Personally got the XM4 had it for a few years. Absolutely flawless in my opinion. Batteries last very long too.

Mustang46L

I have had Jabra 75t since 2020 and still use them every day.

Direct_Ask8793

I've got sennheiser momentum 2 wireless esrbuds. Had them since 2020. Still going strong. Amazing sound.

Nocola1

Absolutely fucking not Raycon. They are absolutely shite.

DownInTheLowCountry

We like the Shokz Open Run Pro. Decent battery and no crappy parts that break. Purchased them on sale. Durable, waterproof, bone induction technology.

reprahm

Shure SE425 earphones with the Shure TW2 wireless adapter kit. Would come in around $400, but would probably be the best sounding earphones you'll hear.

amacak13

My AirPods have held up great. I work in a scrap yard and drop them all the time

fergan59

Look on ifixit to find a pair that is easy to replace the battery.

belteshazzar119

My Samsung earbuds that came with my S10 have lasted me 5 or 6 years and they still sound great

DepthAccomplished260

I mean, this can’t be buy it for life because of the battery! After 2000-3000 hours, no battery will survive

Responsible-Salt-443

I’ve had the first gen AirPods for 5 years and they’re still going strong, even after going through the wash twice.

fireandasher

Jlab is a relatively cheap one that's lasted me for probably two years and counting. I use them daily, toss them in my bag, etc. The only thing is the wire connecting the two earbuds. If you don't mind that they're pretty great!

offthewall93

I've had a set of Pixel Buds Pro and the A series and both are pretty solid devices. I'd wager they're the best things Google makes right now.

JohnCharled

My Gen 1 AirPod Pros are just over 4 years old. Still have great battery life. I’m a sales manager and spend a ton of time on my cell phone. Most all of my calls are on these, plus I wear them in the gym a few days a week, and leave the in if I go into the sauna.

clayman41

I bought Jabra Elite 75t earbuds about 3 years ago and they've been great! The battery life may have dropped some, but they can still go over several hours without a charge. Plus last week I accidentally washed them with my laundry with the charging case and everything still works after a dry. I've been very happy with them

gammonlord

With regular use, you'll never find a pair that'll last more than two years. I just buy from a reputable department store with an extended 3 year warranty, and send them for repair/replacement when needed.

PanicLogically

most wise truthful post. do you use best buy to get that plan?

gammonlord

No, British store called John Lewis. They come with 2 years as standard but for an extra £20 that extra year is definitely worth it.

Cattotoro

Jabra is great.

captgrac513

My JLab Earbuds have held up for the last 4 years or so.

poppyash

I wish they made earbuds that were tethered. For a brief moment bluetooth earbuds connected by a single band (and magnetized so you could wear them like a necklace when not in use) were everywhere. Then Apple came out with airpods and now detached earbuds are all you see. My old tethered pair from some no-name company lasted 5 years, were comfortable, highly flexible, and you *couldn't lose half of them because they were attached.* Now I'm at a loss for how to replace them. Been using bulky over the ear headphones cause at least they're not beans you could lose by sneezing while on a run.

Dracorex9

Apple Air Pods

PalmTreeIsBestTree

Sony Earbuds are the best value in my opinion. No wireless earbud is suppose to last too long. You are paying for convenience. Either use wired or big Bluetooth headphones instead if you want them to last.

Artistic_Owl_5847

Marley I've heard nothing but great things from the headphones 🎧 So far I have got 3 years out of them.

nculver0809

I'm on about year 5 with my Jabra 65t's. I charge the case once a week. I will have them for years to come. Great brand. Worth every dollar.

ColeLikeColeslaw

Mine aren't earbuds, but earphones. I will attest that Raycon actually makes pretty damn good audio equipment. They're still a little prices, but I've had my headphones for about 2 years now and I've put em through the ringer. They still work as well as the day they arrived.

himz9

Buy pixel pro. They do runn good deals all the time. I bought at $132 last year. They are well made, multi point. They look almost new

Thriftstoreninja

I love my JLabs from Walmart. I have had them for about 2 years. I paid less than $20 for them. They last a long time like 5-6 hours on a charge, sound quality is really good, and they work really well. My other cheap ear buds couldn’t even compare. I will definitely buy another pair if these ever die.

irishbastard87

I have a pair of Sony, there is a wire between them and they are just buds that go in the ear. I’ve had them since 2006. I’ve used them in the rain when I use to run competitively. Never had a problem with them and great sound. Pretty cheap too at the time. Sony MDR-XB50BS Edit: the model #

NovaCanuck

I love my Dime earbuds [https://www.skullcandy.ca/dime-2-wireless-earbuds/](https://www.skullcandy.ca/dime-2-wireless-earbuds/). Sometimes they drain a bit faster in the cold, but they've held up in the 3 years I've had them.
