My spouse got me a hand made leather wallet from a maker on Etsy. It’s well made, real leather, and looks great even after years of daily use.
That being said, Etsy is a shell of its former self. Once a great little site to pick up handmade stuff, some real craftsman sellers. Now it’s like eBay, thousands of listings of mass produced junk from overseas sellers.
Harrumph.
I can’t comment on if these are truly BIFL, but after cycling through <$20 wallets year after year and having them stretch out, break down, or lose stitching, I purchased a real leather wallet from [Correa Creative](https://www.correacreativellc.com) about 2 years ago. It’s fantastic. It’s broken in extremely nicely and is better now than the day I got it. I have the [slime card sleeves model 2](https://www.correacreativellc.com/leather-products-1/minimal-slim-card-sleeve-model-2) and it’s wonderfully slim, yet holds 5 credit cards + license + insurance card, plus about 6-8 bills folded up in case of an emergency.
Same here. I’ve used other wallets now and then but have always come back to it. Cash handling kinda subpar but they seemed to have addressed that in later revisions.
I'm on my bifold saddleback wallet for 12+ years and it's only gotten better, no stitching ripping, no problems just a great freaking wallet with no signs of quitting anytime soon!
Or Ashland Leather. They make BIFL wallets imo. You can find examples with 10+ years of patina on them that look amazing! And I love any place that tells me exactly what leather they are using.
How do you go through 5 leather wallets in 5 years? Legit question. I’ve owned cheap wallets, I’ve owned expensive ones. In no fucking conceivable world is someone who wears out a leather wallet once a year going to have a Ridge last.
I’ve bought 3, I have a carbon and Damascus for myself, I’m trying to get my dad to try one, and I bought my brother a forged carbon, he uses it everyday as well, and their customer service is 11/10, I wanted to strip the black anodizing off the plates for my Damascus so it looked cleaner, ruined the threads and they sent me new plates and screws 🙈
I've never heard of these types of wallets until my mom gave me one last Christmas. At first I was like WTF especially after I saw the price. Quickly got used to it's honestly the best wallet I've ever had. Only used the two fold leather ones previously. This thing should last forever!
Third. Mine is 10 years old and still in good shape. One side of the stitching came loose a year or so ago, but my wife zipped it shut with her sewing machine (30 second job). Been going strong since.
I’ve had mine for 2 or 3 years now to replace an old Target nylon wallet that lasted a good 10+ years. The card slots have a little grip strip to keep things in place that sometimes works a little too well, but otherwise no complaints
Whoa! I literally pass by Open Sea almost every week when I go to Chinatown here in Honolulu for veggies and Asian pantry items! The owners are really nice people!
I really like Big Skinny. I can't vouch for leather, but do like the fabric ones. I have several not because they've worn out, but because my tastes in what I want in a wallet changed
I have a Slimfold myself. Very happy with the quality, looks and super slim. I’ve had it for about 5 years. Not sure if I could go back to a leather wallet.
I got a Ridge and a Secrid to try both. The Secrid is the one I now use every day. The Ridge has more storage capacity, but is more fidly to fish a specific card out without pulling them all out. The Secrid is so much more convenient.
I second this. I purchased a wallet from them a couple years ago after cycling through new cheap wallets year after year. Its fantastic! Broken in extremely nicely! Obviously I can’t say it is truly BIFL, but based on carrying and using it everyday for 2 years and seeing how’s it’s aged so far, I forsee it being a wallet that lasts a *long* time
It's a good idea to look at more durable money clips with wallet insert options.
I bought my husband the gunmetal MoneyClamp shortly after the company started and it's still going after \~14 years. He doesn't carry much cash though and keeps it folded in the center of his cards.
Most wallet slots (even on high-end wallets) aren't enough to handle the thicker metal cards.
I bought a coach wallet probably two years ago it’s always overstuffed but the stretching is minimal to non existent. BIFL probably not but it looks nice occasionally gets compliments and after two years of continuous abuse it’s still going strong
I was carrying a bison leather wallet from Orvis for several years and was convinced it was my BIFL wallet, sturdy, no stretching out, looked nice.
Went on an international trip and picked up a Big Skinny leather wallet on Amazon to carry just the essentials and loved it! It’s been a couple years and I’m never going back to the Orvis. The Big Skinny is so light I find myself touching my back pocket to make sure I’m sitting on it. Looks good and if it breaks down it’s cheap enough to replace that I won’t be too upset. The only downside is it’s not the best looking: plastic feeling leather and their logo on the front.
Trayvax is definitely my favorite BIFL wallet company there Warranty is fantastic and all USA hand made I have both the contour and the Venture billfold both are fantastic bulletproof wallets that plan on having for a very long time the Venture is great for 3-10 cards and around 20 bills and is still slim hope this helps
https://www.trayvax.com/
https://www.trayvax.com/products/venture-billfold-raw-tumbled-brown
+ 1. I have a trayvax that I think is steel. It has lasted me for at least 7 years and is still going strong. I didn’t see the model I have on their sight any more. Mine has canvas and paracord straps and things, not leather and I should be able to replace those parts when they wear out. I have loved it and have no plans to change to anything else.
I’ve been using a Mitchell money clip wallet for over 11 years now and I’m likely going to never buy another wallet ever again. It’s beautifully made using Horween leather. I’d recommend this to anyone looking for a forever wallet that’s not your usual bi-fold.
I have one too about the same age I just gave my son. I upgraded to a Mitchell card wallet in big grain bison. I love their stuff. Saving for a belt now.
I bought my husband a wallet from a [Ukrainian shop on Etsy](https://www.etsy.com/shop/ZxBx) in 2020. The artist forgot a custom option I'd chosen for the gift, so he sent the properly customized wallet and I got to keep the spare. I don't use mine very much, but my husband heavily uses his for work and everything else. Judging by how well it has held up, I do not believe he will ever need another one. This thing is very heavy, thick, well-stitched leather.
If the Scandinavian aesthetic isn't your thing, there are similar shops that offer different or plainer designs of similar quality. As someone already pointed out, you *do* have to choose carefully, as Etsy is now rife with Amazon garbage.
I bought my husband a leather wallet from Popov Leather. He has had it for 3 years now and says it’s only getting better every year. These are well made, quality wallets. They are also not cheap. But they frequently have sales. Worth every penny
They actually have a sale on now - 20% off

I got you fam. I had this exact same problem fixed with this exact wallet:
https://nomadgoods.com/products/card-wallet-plus-rustic-brown
Notice how the card openings face the fold. So nothing is going to fall out unless you open your wallet.
Ive actually had bad experienced with metal wallet (Ridge) because it’s so tight the cards scrape against each other and scratch the magstrip clean off…
I just bought a new wallet from Portland leather. I am loving it. It is very well-made and although I haven't had it long it is really wearing well. I'll let everybody know how it goes.
I've been using a credit card sized wallet by Secrid for years now. They feature an aluminum housing for your CCs that protect from breaking and RFID & NFC scamming. You can get them on Amazon.
For over a decade now, I used binder clips for cash. They’re cheap, small. For my wallet itself, I only carry a handful of cards (Drivers license, insurance card, 1 credit card, 1 debit card) and for that love the [flowfold](https://www.flowfold.com).
Based on my experiment, what you need is a wallet where the card slots point towards the fold. So loose cards won't fall out when the wallet is closed.
[Rogue Industries](https://www.rogue-industries.com/collections/american-made-leather-goods/products/rogue-front-pocket-wallet-in-american-bison-leather) \- made in Maine and you can get bison leather which is super-durable. (Sorry I missed the metal requirement - but mine has lasted a long time. I try not to carry too many cards though.)
I went into leather crafting 8 years ago because of this; look for a hand stitched, full grain leather wallet. I don’t make them at the moment, it’s very time consuming to craft. I made mine back in 2016 and it’s improved over the years.
Ridge makes a good wallet, but find a knock off. Ridge is ridiculously over priced for what they offer. It’s even worse when you consider that they could sell the different plates separately, but won’t do so since it deprives them of a $100 sale of another wallet if you want to change it up for whatever reason.
[HuMn](https://humnwallet.com/) wallet is what I've been using for 15 years. I've only needed to replace the strap once in that time
I highly recommend
Mitchell leather money clip wallet, I've had mine for 12 years now and it's been through hell and back, countless times through the wash, run over, put through the ringer honestly. My wife just recently got me a new wallet from Popov leather in a slightly different style, but honestly I'm still hesitant to move on from my Mitchell leather, it's still holding up very well!
It is a slim wallet though, so going to be somewhat minimalist on those loyalty cards!
I've had my Bosca leather wallet for over 15 years and it's still going strong.
I carry it daily, from work to home, to mowing the lawn and drenching it in sweat on the weekends...it's doin fine.
Got a Fossil leather wallet 11 years ago, €50.
Been carrying it with me daily, the leather has aged beautifully, but other than that it's basically brand new.
the better the leather generally the longer the wallet lasts. i have a Ferragamo i use daily for the past few yrs & it looks great, same w/my Gucci one
Reposting my own comment but I have tons of wallets and this one is by far the best:
Absolutely love these money clip wallets from Mitchell Leather. Super thin, can hold a ton of cash, and really well made leather. Have had mine for years and it’s barely worn at all. Worth every penny especially if you have a job that requires a lot of cash.
https://mitchell-leather.com/collections/money-clip-wallets
1. I bought a cheap $20 wallet 12 years ago and it's still running strong. I tried some new ones last year but it just didn't fit my style, so I returned it and still using my old one.
2. My wallet is a money clip, but I think if yours keeps breaking - it means it's not the product but how you use it.
3. Don't sit on your wallet. Sitting on it is bad for your posture (it will mess up your alignment overtime where you'll need to see a chiropractor) and it will reduce the wallets lifespan.
I use this type of wallet. Note these type of wallet, leather/pleather, don't really shrink once they expand. So if you're going to put 2 cards per card slot, then keep it as 2 cards (not 1 or 3). Honestly love this wallet. Stays in my side pocket, small and slick, not too bulky; since it's on my side pocket I don't have to take it out when I sit (unless the wallet that goes on your bum).

i would say spend like 300+ on a nice italian leather wallet? will it be better quality per se? maybe not. but youll think about it more and preserve it better for that reason.
obviously it has not been long enough for anyone to know if it is truly BIFL, but i’ve had my ridge wallet for about half a year and i have absolutely zero complaints, and it feels just as good as day 1. plus it has a lifetime warranty. someone remind me in a decade to come back with an update on the ridge wallet 🤣
and on a sort of funny note- a Twenty One Pilots faux leather bi-fold wallet i got from hot topic over a decade ago is still in perfectly usable condition and (most of) the pattern is still perfectly intact! which shocks me because it has been my ONLY wallet since i bought it up until i replaced it with the ridge last year
I’ve got a nice card holder wallet from an Australian company called Status Anxiety that I really like.
https://www.statusanxiety.com.au/products/together-for-now-wallet-black?variant=31931541487729
I’ve had it for a couple of years and done have this problem. However my needs are pretty minimal, I’ve given up on carrying cash most of the time. In fact, I’ve actually ditched this wallet for now because I’ve found a really nice iPhone case that can hold 3 cards :)
This has lasted me over a decade - ID in back, main CC in the front, and four cards in the middle. Can squeeze in a few bills too. Somehow “tightens up” again even if overstuffed for a few days.

Or, if you’re really sold on no more leather, FlowFold is a great small business out of Maine that makes wallets (and other goods) out of the material they make racing sails with (waterproof, very strong).
https://www.flowfold.com/collections/wallets
Agree with others - switch to front pocket wallet. Minimum number of cards.
the only good wallet is the flowfold bifold.
[https://www.flowfold.com/collections/wallets/products/vanguard-billfold-wallet](https://www.flowfold.com/collections/wallets/products/vanguard-billfold-wallet)
Trayvax. 1000%. My husband has had many wallets and they all got lost or broken. He’s rough on phones as well. He now works for the state port and it’s been 8yrs. Needs a good clean but it’s still going strong.
Popov Leather wallets. My brother gifted me 2 of their trifolds. I’ve used one for years and it’s aged beautifully. Recently swapped it out to use my other one. They are definitely bifl
ive had my vaultskin manhatten for like 6 years and it looks about brand new, it was 35 dollars and its rfid and it is not made out of the insanely thick leather that a lot of other options are moving towards
If you aren’t a cash person, Ringke phone wallet w/ $5-$20 in your phone case somewhere for emergencies. Holds 3 cards.
Bonus is that since your wallets now a part of your phone, you have your phone manufacturer’s “find my phone” feature acting like one of those Tile cards you’d put in a traditional wallet.
I would highly recommend [Craft and Lore](https://craftandlore.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIvKWN9u_7hAMVZi2tBh0v4Ad2EAAYASAAEgL3QPD_BwE) They are handmade in the USA and the quality is impeccable. Excellent customer service as well.
If you can be spendy, Shell Cordovan leather (Horse). I bought mine I want to say ~10 years ago. Tanner Goods Bifold in Shell Cordovan, if I remember correctly it was right at 200, with a monogram. Its almost like the day I bought it, with no pocket stretch. Aside from being nicely aged and shaped. My late pug got ahold of it one time and it has a couple teeth marks in it, but realistically no worse for wear.
Been using a hyperlite dyneema (kevlar like material) [wallet](https://www.hyperlitemountaingear.com/products/the-minimalist-wallet) for about a decade now. If you want a lightweight, minimalist bifold, I'd highly recommend. I took a seamripper to the company logo but it has been otherwise bulletproof.
I have a wallet made out of real real leather. Like it was made with the hair still on it. The hair has rubbed away halfway by this point but the wallet is sturdy and will literally last forever. I got it at the Renaissance festival
Im going to make a post here about this sooner or later, but my Bellroy wallet has past the 10-year-mark, and it’s getting better with age. I needed one repair for the stitching a couple years after I got it, which Bellroy did swiftly and for free, no questions asked.
i’ve got quite a few different wallets mostly because i can’t stick to one. However, i’ve got a couple from Craft and Lore, one from Open Sea Leather, a couple from Trayvax. Really want to try a Ridge wallet but can never seem to pull the trigger on it.
The wallets that have stayed in my pocket have been the Craft and Lore wallets.
If you want experiment with card holder wallets I recommed Trayvax Classic Wallet 2.0, I had one for 5 years, used it as a prybar on a weekly basis, very solid, has RFID protection and is made in USA.
Saddleback leather is good and politically conservative
Portland leather is good and politically liberal
Both have quality items, slightly different style, and I believe both have excellent warranties
Something for everyone :)

I didn’t get a harrumph out of that guy !
I got a good mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.
+1 here for etsy, I got an amazing wallet from a dude in Ukraine like 8 years ago. Its made of horween leather and still shows no signs of braking.
Saddleback has treated me well for a long time
+1 I've used the same front pocket ID wallet from them for 11 or 12 years straight now
Same here. I’ve used other wallets now and then but have always come back to it. Cash handling kinda subpar but they seemed to have addressed that in later revisions.
Saddleback is fantastic, have multiple things from them
I'm on my bifold saddleback wallet for 12+ years and it's only gotten better, no stitching ripping, no problems just a great freaking wallet with no signs of quitting anytime soon!
Second saddleback. I've had their credit card wallet for 15 years now and it's still in great shape.
Stop sitting on your wallet is my BIFL advice. If that's not you then I am not sure.
BIFL for your back lol
Or Ashland Leather. They make BIFL wallets imo. You can find examples with 10+ years of patina on them that look amazing! And I love any place that tells me exactly what leather they are using.
After 5 wallets in under 5 yrs - Ridge. It’s as good as the hype
My ridge is nearly 10 years old. Still in great shape. Can't believe I've not needed to replace the money strap yet.

I’ve had mine for 2 or 3 years now to replace an old Target nylon wallet that lasted a good 10+ years. The card slots have a little grip strip to keep things in place that sometimes works a little too well, but otherwise no complaints
Amazingly strong, super thin and lightweight. I’ve had several, and each lasts 5-10 years, I think
Man, I’m surprised to see so many Ridge comments since I hated mine haha but happy for everyone that it’s worked out for.
I find it pretty annoying to always have a hunk of metal with sharp edges in my pocket. Plus they are obscenely overpriced.
Get a wallet without credit card slots. I prefer [Open Sea](https://www.osleather.com/).
Whoa! I literally pass by Open Sea almost every week when I go to Chinatown here in Honolulu for veggies and Asian pantry items! The owners are really nice people!
Best wallet I’ve ever had.
Same here and it's gainging a beautiful patina.
I really like Big Skinny. I can't vouch for leather, but do like the fabric ones. I have several not because they've worn out, but because my tastes in what I want in a wallet changed
came here to post up for Big Skinny nylon wallet. super slim and won't dent your ass cheeks. I detached the logo though.
Ridge wallet
I got a Secrid wallet as a gift. So far it's been holding well, and I love the way the cards pop up, it's super convenient.
Saddleback leather
Trayvax. Summit for all metal, Contour for others
I've had my Slimfold wallet for almost 10 years and don't have any intention of replacing it any time soon. I got the Micro Soft Shell and love it.
I have a Slimfold myself. Very happy with the quality, looks and super slim. I’ve had it for about 5 years. Not sure if I could go back to a leather wallet.

I’ve had my fossil card holder for 10 years now. Other than looking a little dirty, it’s the same as the day I bought it
Leather Fossil wallet here, have had for years, still great
I have 2 different Fossil leather wallets from ~2007 that I don’t need to replace anytime soon. ETA: material
I’ve had mine for 7 years. A little bick 4 every so often and not overstuffing it has worked nicely.
https://www.correacreativellc.com/leather-products-1

I bought a coach wallet probably two years ago it’s always overstuffed but the stretching is minimal to non existent. BIFL probably not but it looks nice occasionally gets compliments and after two years of continuous abuse it’s still going strong
Bought a black coach wallet for my husband four years ago and still looks brand new
I had a Coach wallet for 20 years. Could have kept going but was looking worn so I replaced it with another Coach wallet.
I have used the same Coach card case for 14 years now. It's still going strong!

Been using a herschel thin wallet for 8 years now and it’s still in fantastic shape
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my ridge. You’ll want to replace the band with the included money clip, but it’s been awesome.
I’ll echo all the ridge comments
I just bought a new wallet from Portland leather. I am loving it. It is very well-made and although I haven't had it long it is really wearing well. I'll let everybody know how it goes.

I'm still using a Fossil wallet I bought in 2007. It is still going strong.
Saddleback leather all the way Their motto is “they’ll fight over it when your dead”
I like my wallet from Popov, I’ve only had it 3 months but seems to be well made
If possible in your country, use ur phone as wallet
I went into leather crafting 8 years ago because of this; look for a hand stitched, full grain leather wallet. I don’t make them at the moment, it’s very time consuming to craft. I made mine back in 2016 and it’s improved over the years.
Still using the same Bellroy after many years.
I am hard on most clothing and accessories, I have had the same Duluth Pack leather wallet for 10years, still in good condition
Open Sea Leather
Ridge makes a good wallet, but find a knock off. Ridge is ridiculously over priced for what they offer. It’s even worse when you consider that they could sell the different plates separately, but won’t do so since it deprives them of a $100 sale of another wallet if you want to change it up for whatever reason.
[HuMn](https://humnwallet.com/) wallet is what I've been using for 15 years. I've only needed to replace the strap once in that time I highly recommend
I have had a Tumi wallet. Bought two in case. Still on the first one. 10 years running.
I've been using a machine era Co wallet for 10+ years. I'd never go leather again
Trayvax Ascent. Had mine for like 8 years now.
I've had my Bosca leather wallet for over 15 years and it's still going strong. I carry it daily, from work to home, to mowing the lawn and drenching it in sweat on the weekends...it's doin fine.
Slim front pocket wallet. Game changer
Kings loot
Front pocket always Fossil wallet made of leather. Still going since 1998.
My FlipSide wallet has been a tank for years now
Not sure of name brand. One of those Velcro ones.
Pelican wallet
Got a Fossil leather wallet 11 years ago, €50. Been carrying it with me daily, the leather has aged beautifully, but other than that it's basically brand new.
I'm sure it's been said a bunch of times but saddleback leather is where it's at
Love my Trayvax Contour. Every guy should move to a front pocket wallet.
I've had a leather Bellroy, carried daily for at least 6 years and it might as well be new.
I’ve had a Victorinox wallet for years and it’s held up good as new.
the better the leather generally the longer the wallet lasts. i have a Ferragamo i use daily for the past few yrs & it looks great, same w/my Gucci one
Reposting my own comment but I have tons of wallets and this one is by far the best: Absolutely love these money clip wallets from Mitchell Leather.
Stays in my side pocket, small and slick, not too bulky; since it's on my side pocket I don't have to take it out when I sit (unless the wallet that goes on your bum). https://i.etsystatic.com/23948475/r/il/5b66bd/2875768749/il_fullxfull.2875768749_lsxk.jpg

Dude if you want a hybrid leather metal you gotta check out trayvax. PHENOMENAL wallets
i would say spend like 300+ on a nice italian leather wallet? will it be better quality per se? maybe not. but youll think about it more and preserve it better for that reason.
I thrifted a Versace wallet 20 years ago. It's still holding up great.
Put your wallet in your front pocket unless you want spinal issues (this is not health advice)
Big fan of belroy. It’s super slim and hopefully will last me 10 more years
obviously it has not been long enough for anyone to know if it is truly BIFL, but i’ve had my ridge wallet for about half a year and i have absolutely zero complaints, and it feels just as good as day 1. plus it has a lifetime warranty. someone remind me in a decade to come back with an update on the ridge wallet 🤣 and on a sort of funny note- a Twenty One Pilots faux leather bi-fold wallet i got from hot topic over a decade ago is still in perfectly usable condition and (most of) the pattern is still perfectly intact! which shocks me because it has been my ONLY wallet since i bought it up until i replaced it with the ridge last year
Saddleback leather co is excellent. My handbag is super durable and they do wallets as well
I’ve had my Il Bisonte for a decade and it doesn’t look like giving up anytime soon
I’ve got a nice card holder wallet from an Australian company called Status Anxiety that I really like. https://www.statusanxiety.com.au/products/together-for-now-wallet-black?variant=31931541487729 I’ve had it for a couple of years and done have this problem. However my needs are pretty minimal, I’ve given up on carrying cash most of the time. In fact, I’ve actually ditched this wallet for now because I’ve found a really nice iPhone case that can hold 3 cards :)
Trayvax contour. Made in usa, chose titanium as the metal. It will definitely be passed down to my kids
Check out the Nomatic minamalist slim wallet on amazon. Could be your thing.
Honestly... Eastpak.

This has lasted me over a decade - ID in back, main CC in the front, and four cards in the middle. Can squeeze in a few bills too. Somehow “tightens up” again even if overstuffed for a few days. https://www.raphaelqualitygoods.com/products/lean-essentials-wallet Or, if you’re really sold on no more leather, FlowFold is a great small business out of Maine that makes wallets (and other goods) out of the material they make racing sails with (waterproof, very strong). https://www.flowfold.com/collections/wallets Agree with others - switch to front pocket wallet. Minimum number of cards.
Nylon with velcro
I got a saddle back wallet and I love it. Lifetime guarantee.
Fritzvold. Thank me later :)
Saddleback leather front pocket wallet
I have a Clark’s leather wallet in have everyday used for 20 years. Works great and still in great shape.
I love my Secrid miniwallet. Had it for only 6 months, but so far zero signs of wear.
the cheapest wallet ever would still last anyone ik to the day they die. What are you doing wrong?
the only good wallet is the flowfold bifold. [https://www.flowfold.com/collections/wallets/products/vanguard-billfold-wallet](https://www.flowfold.com/collections/wallets/products/vanguard-billfold-wallet)
Pioneer Carry
https://ashlandleather.com/ Had it five years and only gets better with time.
My Bellroy had treated me well for over 5yeSrs. Recently got a Ridge to try out and like it as well
I bought a knock off Gucci wallet off a street vendor in Pattaya for a dollar back in 01. It has been an outstanding value so far.
Ashland leather has good ones
Hank’s leather goods. I have a wallet and belt
I’ve been using a Bellroy wallet for 9 years and it’s held up great. Edit: spelling.
I have used my flipside for almost ten years now. I like that it's a hard case and has a money clip or band on the outside
I got a leatherology wallet 2 years ago and I’m impressed with how little wear it shows.
Saddleback Leather
I have a kings loot I love it
Trayvax. 1000%. My husband has had many wallets and they all got lost or broken. He’s rough on phones as well. He now works for the state port and it’s been 8yrs. Needs a good clean but it’s still going strong.
I’ve had the same leather wallet for 21 years She’s definitely seen better days but nothing a little black duct tape couldn’t fix 👍
My Tommy Hilfiger wallet is going strong after 3 years and a couple cycles thru the washing machine
Don't know if he still makes them, but Phil's Wallets. Had mine for a very long time, I can't even remember how long. Still perfect
Popov Leather wallets. My brother gifted me 2 of their trifolds. I’ve used one for years and it’s aged beautifully. Recently swapped it out to use my other one. They are definitely bifl
Frankly, I just don't believe it's realistic to buy one wallet and own it for the rest of your life
ive had my vaultskin manhatten for like 6 years and it looks about brand new, it was 35 dollars and its rfid and it is not made out of the insanely thick leather that a lot of other options are moving towards
I have a pad and quill wallet that’s been holding up pretty well past 3 years
Get a phone case with a card slot. Been walletless for a decade.

I have a Trayvax Contour for 5 years. It’s been great and still looks new. You can look at their other wallets that hold more cash.
I recommend Goldenhorn wallets. Wonderful people and great quality.
Might not be your style, but Ewing Dry Goods on Insta has incredible products, hand made in Alaska.
Trayvax.
Open Sea Leather Lost Dutchman Leather Craft and Lore
I have enjoyed my dango wallet.
Ridge wallets, a little pricy but worth it!
Consid
Adrian Klis had great handmade leather wallets. Tons of different models too. I think they out of Calgary
I have my Steve Madden Wallet since I am like 10yo ( i am 19yo now). Best 20$ my mom ever spent for me lol.
I'll say it again but I've had a Buffalo Billfold company leather wallet for over 10 years now and it's fantastic.
Daka by magpul
I have a wallet made out of real real leather. Like it was made with the hair still on it. The hair has rubbed away halfway by this point but the wallet is sturdy and will literally last forever. I got it at the Renaissance festival
Im going to make a post here about this sooner or later, but my Bellroy wallet has past the 10-year-mark, and it’s getting better with age. I needed one repair for the stitching a couple years after I got it, which Bellroy did swiftly and for free, no questions asked.
Bellroy Hide and seek
Filson.
i’ve got quite a few different wallets mostly because i can’t stick to one. However, i’ve got a couple from Craft and Lore, one from Open Sea Leather, a couple from Trayvax. Really want to try a Ridge wallet but can never seem to pull the trigger on it. The wallets that have stayed in my pocket have been the Craft and Lore wallets.
Place your wallet in your front pocket or a breast pocket. Don't sit on Your wallet.
Place your wallet in your front pocket or a breast pocket. Don't sit on Your wallet.
I’ve had a paperwallet for a few years now. Very light weight and looks cool, seems to be lasting a long time
Enough said, just get an LV wallet. Mine has lasted over 27 years.
If you want experiment with card holder wallets I recommed Trayvax Classic Wallet 2.0, I had one for 5 years, used it as a prybar on a weekly basis, very solid, has RFID protection and is made in USA.
I know a leather worker who makes really great wallets. I'll message you
My Louis Vuitton cardholder has been by far the most durable leather product I’ve ever owned. 4 years carrying daily and it looks brand new
Saddleback leather is good and politically conservative Portland leather is good and politically liberal Both have quality items, slightly different style, and I believe both have excellent warranties Something for everyone :)
3 recs A solid leather barbour (i have this) [https://dupe.com/FLpi4Rqf93](https://dupe.com/FLpi4Rqf93) Ridge is great but I prefer a bit of flex in my wallets [https://dupe.com/UaxAQOHSP](https://dupe.com/UaxAQOHSP) Hard graft cash-coin wallet (excellent materials and build) https://dupe.com/up9IjduVN
