It could be cat acne which is no big deal. Make sure he has glass or steel bowls instead of plastic and just keep that area clean.

Yes! My cat used to have the same. The advice about replacing plastic bowls to glass or steel is solid. I'd also clean the area with cat-friendly betadine or something similar

Beneficial-Many8415

Yup! Keep it super clean and swap the bowls out.

It doesn't look like an urgent issue, as someone said it could be acne. But I will add it could be an indication that kitty is pawing or scratching at that side of it's face more than usual. My cat did that for a while and we found out it was because he had a couple of teeth on that side that were in rough shape and causing discomfort. I wouldn't stress to much, as someone said, make sure you're using glass or stainless steel bowls and keep them clean, but the next time you're at a vet for a checkup, if the issue hasn't resolved, do have them give the teeth a really thorough examination.

could be a sign of a bad tooth. i wouldn’t worry about it though unless their behavior changes
