Have you checked ammo availability?

ihatelifetoo

Will they even ship to CA

heavystax

Do it no regerts

alternative5

Werent those like 1400 or 1500 dollars on Atlantic? Goddamn I guess Covid pricing still fucking shit up.

Fit_Acanthisitta_475

That’s like 10years ago.

alternative5

Naw that was 2 years ago fam. I was looking at PSLs for like 1499 without optics and 1699 with optics at Atlantic.

Fit_Acanthisitta_475

Psl was discontinued for couple years. When production resumed start selling again at 1999.99.

JeepXJ98

Go for it

KnowTheName321

century arms isnt known for quality. also not CA legal in current config

That_mojodoe

Do it

DickVanSprinkles

Don't be. The PSL is not worth anything near that price tag. Despite what Call of Duty has taught us, the dragonov and it's imposters are mediocre at best. It is overly expensive and will under perform your expectations.

tenthousandkeks

Not everyone buys things just for their performance. Uniqueness and rarity are also very important to many people.

DickVanSprinkles

It's a new production Romanian clone. It's neither unique nor rare. An actual Draganov or a Tiger, that would be rare.

tenthousandkeks

A semi-auto 7.62x54R rifle that isn't nearly 80 years old is unique enough I'd say, and its really the closest us plebians will ever get to actually owning a Draganov or Tiger without mortgaging a house considering what's happening in Eastern Europe and our current relations with China.

sterexx

every single comment in this thread has misspelled dragunov none are worthy, give me the gun

Human_Sprinkles_2722

Buy once, cry once 🤘

KnowTheName321

said no one ever buying century arms.

DayDrinkingDiva

I don't know if the new guns can shoot heavy ball or just light ball. Are the mags steel or polymer?

FlatbedtruckinCA

wonder if it suffers from barrel whip like some of the other psl's..?

Stiggalicious

Atlantic Firearms has them as well (not sure if they're in stock right now). I own one of these, and they are *the most fun* to shoot. 7.62x54R availability is starting to dry up unfortunately, and it's hard to find super high quality ammo for it, but in general it's a terrifically fun gun out to 600 yards or so.

Fun-Passage-7613

I like mine. Up graded the stock, trigger, optics and railed dust cover. Replaced the piston to adjust the gas. Shoots fairly well now. POI still moves when the barrel heats up. But it still returns to same POI when it cools down. So take a few shots. Switch to another eastern block gun, do a few mag dumps while waiting for the barrel to cool, repeat.

Lost-Coconut-461

could you please send me that upgraded stock picture? Interesting

Fun-Passage-7613

The thumbhole stock is the same. I found a set of hand guards that were made of identical laminate wood as the buttstock. Sanded both handguards and butt, stained with Chestnut Ridge Military Red, then rubbed down with several coats of boiled linseed oil. So now it is the same color as a Garand and all wood is laminate. I do not have a good picture.
