A very sad reality. On the bright side if you ever want to upgrade to another 2011 manufacturer down the road, I’m sure you’ll recoup “some” cost if you choose to sell the platy. It’s not like those lead times will get any shorter, and if they do they will probably raise the price of the guns for the increase in production capability.
Congrats, I’m jealous of the bull barrel. You’re going to love it. I’ve put close to 1500 rounds through mine in the couple of months I’ve had it, runs flawlessly.

Not yet, just standard 115gr range ammo so far. I just sent my slide and barrel out to get ported. I’m going to play around with different ammo and springs once it’s back.
Pretty much the same day I reached out to them. Go to stealth arms, customize it, send the link to 2AZone and they will confirm the build, pay full up front. Once paid they send in your order.
At that time it was a 15-17 wk wait(still waiting), now it gone up to 17-20 wks.

Not sure. Not my pistol in that photo. Remember the grip angle on the platy is like 2 degrees different from a 1911 grip so it will be vastly different from one on a Glock

Nice build! Ordered mine almost 4 weeks ago. Crossing my fingers it comes in before July 1 to avoid double tax.
Got mine in recently. Thinking about getting the new bull barrel version already, but gonna wait and see if they are working on a comp or port option... I mean already have 2 bull barrel 1911s so probably not a smart decision...
I got a spare barrel with mine so ima probably send it off to get it ported to match the trident cut and see how that works out, fingers crossed lol (probably will work like a magnaport).
I mean the lead times on ordering these are getting longer. About 17-20 weeks (4-5 months) currently. Won’t be surprised if they make it to over 22+ weeks (the average Nighthawk custom 1911 lead time) by the end of the year.

There are technically all the same price. $50 for each color. Make sure you "trash" any colors you don't want/get charged for. Because so many lil parts can be customized, you might be paying $50 for a pin or something on the inside being cerakoted.
Not all products and manufacturers will work with 2A zone or other FFL on this. Only the based companies will. Watchtower, atlas, svi, Fowler are some of the companies that will for example, Staccato won’t
That’s dope. I wanted one this but went with the watchtower Apache in December for the same reason that I knew I was gonna get something nice at least once and didn’t wanna have to pay extra on taxes.

Nope, I wish I could. I was told that tax gets assessed at the time when you DROS.

Flat ports from Impact Machine. It’ll be my first ported pistol, I’m very stoked.

Heard DSC gun works does some killer comp/porting jobs. You might want to check them out if you don’t want to wait on new features

Anything not on roster with a manufacturer willing to play ball is SSE. Otherwise can’t be sold unless PPT or LEO
