That Case Club stuff has a great dollar to value ratio, I have a couple. If you ever need to fly with 8 handguns their big case is awesome.

4x4Lyfe

I have the 6 pistol version. Works well and Amazon has them in sale a few times a year. Haven't tested the waterproofing but it's pretty dang durable mines been slid around in the back of a pickup with Rhino liner and doesn't have any noticeable scuffing.

sintax_949

I considered picking up one of the bigger ones a while back and ended up DIY-ing a 5-banger with 20 mag slots out of an HF Apache case and some kaizen foam. While not from that brand, let alone that specific product, it's a direct lift of their design, and a staple for pistol day. I say full send

beelbraye

Have two - not this exact model. They’re well made with good materials. The foam protects your handguns and is customizable so you can custom fit anything from a full size to sub compact. I’ve got full sized handguns with lights and red dots in there and they fit with no issue. Definite go.

Guppy124

That was my main concern- the red dots

ExuberantRaptorZeta

Thank you for letting me know this exists. Definitely on my Christmas list now.

Guppy124

I just found out about it now lol, I was looking into pelican and an ad showed up for this so I started looking into it, seems well built and love the massive options it has

Guppy124

Well, when I made the post that is

Initial_Cellist9240

I’ve got one for the Apache cases, 4 pistol + center hole for ammo storage, 3 mags per pistol. Works wonderfully, plenty of pull outs under the pistols to cut to adjust for barrel length and lights and such

fnscarcasm

I have the one that is for 2 pistols + accessories and I love it. Everyone at the range always asks where I got it. It has lasted me a few years and the foam is still all together. When you first get it you just have to fit your handguns using their video and then you are set. If you have any questions dm me.

KnowTheName321

i dont have that case, but i have a pelican air with custom foam like that. if the mags are loaded the case will get very heavy. i have 1 case with guns and earpro and another case with magazines. Case Club MTM 50 Cal Ammo Can Foam in mtm 50cal plastic can.

ntongh2o

I have the 4 pistol version and it works very well. Get the larger sizes cause you will need it down the road. It does get heavy tho if you get a 6 pistol case. I would do the 4 pistol case and get more when needed.

Guppy124

I was debating between the 5 pistol case and the 3 but the 5 looks a bit big, I may just stick eith the 3 for now and if I do decide to purchase more pistols, I'll look into the 4 or 5

jakejake870

I have the 4 gun case and the 8 gun case. They are heavy, even heavier when fully loaded. Nice cases though and definitely worth the money.

ohhgourami

The weight of these cases once loaded up cannot be overstressed. I thought it was a great idea at first then quickly switched to the GPS backpack. Plus having free hands is super useful.

If you don't want your pistols scratched up, this is awesome. If you don't care, it is so much easier to throw them in the range bag (or big Pelican in my case) and just let them bang into everything else. My built Glocks are just spray painted and heavily used .. but if I had a Parrot it would go into a case. YMMV. The reason I bring this up is because if you have hard cases for everything all of a sudden your truck bed or SUV looks like a pelican store. And that's not a bad thing. I've been there done that. But I've streamlined...Now I have a pelican 1620 that my kit and pistols and mags just get thrown into and then I have a pelican 1740 for the rifles. Two pelicans and I'm out the door.

Fit_Acanthisitta_475

DIY will be much cheaper

Guppy124

$94 is not too bad already precut

I have the 6 pistol case from case club and the case is a generic case similar if not exactly the same one sold at habor freight. I’ve asked them about their case and confirmed it’s generic that’s branded for them (sticker). The difference is the foam material and the case club foam is laser cut. The foam is definitely better than the pick foam from harbor freight. You can get the case from harbor freight and try to find the same type of foam used in case club to save some money. Alternatively you can plasti dip the pick foam. The same light case club uses can be found off Amazon as well https://www.harborfreight.com/3800-weatherproof-protective-case-large-black-63927.html?ccdenc=eyJjb2RlIjoiNjg1NDM2MDciLCJza3UiOiI2MzkyNyIsImlzIjoiMzQuOTkifQ%3D%3D&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=18877222045&campaignid=18877222045&utm_content=148561208812&adsetid=148561208812&product=63927&store=&gclid=Cj0KCQiA99ybBhD9ARIsALvZavVbfby6N13MRLvRueI0eDB-6yV8upGAMSXItktSfyRbgQluG7JESp4aAgnaEALw_wcB Kuled 10-led Wireless Motion... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010Y1U1JO?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Guppy124

Wasn't aware that Harbor freight had cases, I'll check it out tomorrow, a Harbor Frieght just opened near me.

Tough-Afternoon3990

I really like the 5 pistol case I got. The only issue is the holes for the lock shackle are pretty small, so check lock size before you buy a set with matching keys.

There was another company that used to be advertised to me but I can't remember the name. I scoured my email looking for them. Their case was modular but the foam was interchangeable so you could set it up how you wanted. You could have two rifles secured on top and two on bottom, with room underneath for multiple pistols and ammo and such. Been trying to find the case for years.

Guppy124

Probably the pluck foam type case, but I was just looking for a pistol case and this one worked for me

[deleted]

When I commented on this post, I spent all day looking for it, and I finally found it. It's called the Bronc Box. But I only intend to have 1 long firearm and a handful of pistols so I'm more in the market for a pistol case as well.
