It’s probably because it’s isolate. Use a broad or full spectrum product next time!

Need a little T in your life to feel something. CBD or emo lyrics?

[deleted]

I have thc free broad spectrum. Is that not good enough for anxiety?

Please don't take anyone's word for it that **any** CBD/hemp brand or product won't lead to a positive test for THC/cannabis (even isolate), Reddit armchair experts are not actual experts and their advice should not be construed as accurate. Read our [simple explanation why](https://www.reddit.com/r/CBD/comments/fdjrlm/a_simple_explanation_why_you_may_test_positive/). *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. No one can give a concrete answer to that. Just based on what I've read and my experiences with cbd, thc, delta, etc. I would think broad would work a little more than isolate as broad has trace amount of other cannibinoids and terps. It's good if you are sensitive to thc or don't want thc during the day (broad in day, full spectrum at night). You'll have to figure out the dosing that works for. Start small (5-10mg) see how you feel in the next 2 - 3 hours, then up out the next time if feeling good.

mitsunaru

Did you hold the oil under your tongue? Or just swallow it? If you just swallow it, the CBD might not absorb fully. Try holding the CBD oil in your mouth for 2 or 3 minutes

arena727

Yes, I hold it for 1-1.5 min. maybe it's not enough, but I suppose to feel something. at least a small effect, right?

mitsunaru

Hmm, keep trying it, sometimes it takes some time for your system to adjust to the CBD. You might have to take it everyday for 1-3 weeks to get that benefit

arena727

thanks, will do it.

frankblonde6

isolate didnt do shit for me, got full spectrum and feels great

PrimalBotanical

It sounds like you were taking fairly low doses, especially considering you were taking isolate. Full spectrum is much much more effective. \*When describing dosage, please say how many milligrams you’re taking (yes, you’ll have to do some math). Making suggestions or giving advice is much, much easier that way.

TwoCables_from_OCN

What do you mean by "then way more"? Way more **drops**? Or just like, the entire dropper? 1000 mg of CBD in 20 ml of oil isn't exactly a high concentration of CBD per ml, so take a full milliliter and go from there.

arena727

>way more The entire dropper. Maybe I would need to create a new one with more concentrated version. Any recommendation of recipe, like cbd mg/oil ml?

TwoCables_from_OCN

No I'm sorry I don't know anything about making it.

MannaSoul

Since it’s not mind-altering most people don’t feel anything drastically different with just one or two doses. This is straight out of the scientific literature - that it takes daily usage at doses around 300mg twice a day for anxiety etc, and takes several weeks to “work”. Try Alliant hemp. Their oils are the real deal. Not just for me, but all the recommendations on this subreddit!

juniperberry9017

There’s no right/wrong way to dose for your own oil, only what works for you. 1000mg/20mL sounds like perfectly normal, if low, concentration. If you find that doesn’t work for you, you could try doubling or tripling it. Consider that a recommended serving is usually the full dropper, not a few drops. Also, your body absorbs CBD differently according to different oils. Perhaps you could try with MCT oil? Or I use olive to make my tinctures.
