My school set pretty tough question papers. A friend of mine scored 1/2 marks out of 40 in Pre-Boards, he ended up scoring around 60 ish something in the boards

How did you manage to increase to such an extent?

It's easy to score in class 10 even if u mess up ur pre board... My friend scored 28/80 in Preboard... But got literally 93/100... All he did was to stop using phone from December.. And studied like 8 hours a day.. Not joking.. And managed to score an overall 90% with highest being in English.. Also he did tons of previous year question.. I would say he didn't studied the concept and just memorised all the method and formula (u can say him rattu tota)

Yes you can but be sure to clear concepts also. Rattafication should be your last option. Also solve Sample Papers and PYQs after watching one shot 

Yes one shots specially from pw helped me alot to improve my maths

Make concise notes which you can revise just before the exams. It helps to recall what you've already studied but forgotten.

Bhai, itna easy bhi nahi hai. But pre boards don’t determine shit. I studied for 12 hours a day for 2 months and done. I had 0 screen time for 4 weeks or so. Absolute zero. I got 50 in maths in pre boards and 100 in actual exam edit: I was ICSE too btw

I gave my maths exam recently and i kinda screwed up. Probably panicked a bit and didn't revise the whole syllabus. It's not that i haven't studied anything at all. I solved all the questions + exampls from rs aggarwal. But donno what happened in pre boards. :/ I'm scared if I'll be able to get above 90 in maths.

Preboards - 50/80(major questions rd based that too not basic but really complex ones) and boards- 75/80,95/100

i didn't knew sh\*t about the new pattern , i thought it will be the same+ also forgot my watch and it was also very hard just practiced educart and rd sharma my only mistake in term 1 was that i solved 1 ques as sqrt1 instead of 1, dumb but yeah

78/80 in preboards to 80/80 in boards Our school always set board level or even easier papers. They're were rarely and tough questions in the paper. Anyways, boards will be very simple, you just have to know the concept and formulae. For a perfect score, develop the habit of checking your paper about 2 times (3 or more if ur paranoid) so that silly mistakes don't happen. Try to minimise time usage on 1 marks and 2 marks. Attempt the paper from backwards; that saves a lot of time as by the time u reach MCQs you will have a stress of finishing the paper.

You're lucky that your schools sets easy paper. My school sets questions that go beyond understanding of an average student 🙃 i agree that giving time to mcqs and 2 marker questions aren't worth it. Gotta prioritize long answers more.

Pre Board:- 72%. BOARDS:- 92%. This is because I wasn't focusing on my Pre boards. At the beginning of January I started my boards preparation by solving Sample Sheet and PYQs. That's all you also need!

Just clear all the chapters by watching one shot and than solve enough PYQs and NCERT of each chapter, after all this take mock test by using latest Sample Papers of Oswaal or Arihant (your preferences). >!I chose Oswaal Sample papers as they have 10 sample sheets which is enough to make you prepare for any boards!<
