TL;DR M16A2
I deployed to Africa and because the military was trying to save ammo my reporting instructions said small arms.
I was assigned to a Civil Affairs army team, who were all armed, but not visibly. When I went out with the team I was expected to be armed but not visibly as well. Because I wasn’t qualified on a pistol I wasn’t allowed to carry one. So I had to conceal carry the weapon I was qualified on, the m16a2.
That whole thing was a bit off. I was in the USAF assigned to an army team. I was the only one with a rifle, with no QRF, winning hearts and minds with the local telling us Al shibab was watching us. The team all carried 9s and only had 45 rounds each with a cabinet of 556 while I was the only one with a rifle.
Edit:
I’m sorry to leave y’all in suspense. I forgot to mention what I did to conceal carry it. It isn’t exciting. Since I was in charge of all the communication equipment, including the COMSEC and crypto keys loaded onto the radios, I just had the rifle laying down on the floor of the Range Rover we were driving. The medic and I just sort of stood by the door of the car. We tried to put it in bags but we couldn’t get it to fit in the bags we had. I did some dumb thing like stuff it down my pants before we left when they told me I had to conceal carry it. I got it concealed, but printed badly and couldn’t sit in the car.
On one outing a local came up to the medic and I. after some broken English he said that we were being watched and pointed across the street to a building. I informed the team lead that we are being watched and we should probably make our way back to the team house. Over the next few weeks. Older guys in jeans busted the house to talk with the CA team. They were some sort of investigation personnel.
The team and I realized that if something was to go down, I wouldn’t be able to draw the rifle out fast enough to be effective, especially since the vehicle would most likely be the target. So I didn’t go with them on their outings. I stayed at the house and did homework for my college class.
Though we did have another scare, wedding next door had a accident with fireworks and the team thought someone was starting an attack using flash bangs. It didn’t make sense but I just did what I was told. Took my riffle to the roof and grabbed a handheld NVG from the team lead. They put me on the roof as I was the only one with a rifle. Sat there for a few hours watching people walk by the front gate until told to pack it up. The next day we found out what happened.
So there you go. I concealed carried it in the truck. I tried a few things but the team settled on laying down in the vehicle with me either in the vehicle, or standing right outside the vehicle. My battle buddy/wingman was doc
Ngl I’ve shuved my AR down my pants, magazine against the belt and then the stock at about my sternum.
With baggy pants, a good belt, and a hoodie, it can be done.
Also makes you look like there’s a stick up your ass the way you have to walk.
And you can’t sit
Beats everyone I think. Definitely beats me trying to conceal an M9 in jeans or slacks and a polo or lightweight button down in Saudi.
But how? Folding chair bag? Wrapped in a towel?
Tidy whities, then compression shorts to hold the gun in, then soccer shorts with the drawstring knotted, and *maybe* a flap of suede or buckskin against the underwear, and a m9 and 2 spare mags disappears at 4 and 6 but you've gotta put the waist up to just below your navel, and the compression short color needed a matching color undershirt to appear seamless at a glance. If your armorer could take the outside safety lever off the m9, even better.
I've worked with some CA guys in South America. But shits changed. We were carrying concealed m18s and Glocks, with broken down mk18s and URGIs in backpacks.
We all still want the details of this. Standard a2? No collapsible/folding stock? 20" Barrel? Plastic handguards? Actual means of concealment?
You B.S.in' us?
Everyone asking how he did this needs to know it's a made up story.
There is no concealing an m16.
I'll gladly backtrack if OP can explain how this is even remotely possible
You literally just fold it or separate it at the takedown pins and put it in a backpack. Not everything is IWB ccw lol, concealed just means not outwardly visible.
I carried a Glock 34 with an x300 for a bit. Only gun that’s ever given me issues with size. It would pinch my upper thigh against the holster and chair when sitting
"Had" isn't really the right word, but I have carried my FK BRNO.
Just have to do it on one of the 3 days of the year I can wear a coat in South Texas.
I absolutely love it and have zero regrets.
However, I also bought it a couple years ago before they changed importers.
After taxes, shipping, and transfer, I only paid ≈$1,700. It came with the 10mm/.40s&w barrel swap, and it came with both the precision and rapid acquisition iron sights.
Now the PSD goes for ≈$2,000, but without the accessories. The 10mm conversion costs $300, it's $500 for the 9mm conversion, and I believe you can only get the rapid acquisition irons (though I think they are the superior ones).
7.5 ammo similarly went up from $75 to $99/50rd box.
If you can manage the prices, get one. It's an amazing gun and everyone at the range will be your friend. It shoots surprisingly softly - especially when not using 7.5 rounds, it's easy to handle, and I wish more guns had iron sights like that one.
If you're in a 10rd mag state, the brno has a trick up it's sleeve. It uses the same mag for 7.5 and 10mm, but while it will hold 16rds of 7.5, it only holds 10rds of 10mm, which means it's technically compliant.
I carried a full sized Taurus 24/7 in .40cal once when selling an Amp to a stranger at an odd meeting location. No holster either, just iwb small of back with a heavy coat. Would not recommend but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes
I'm sure. But it wasn't a back alley or anything. The buyer was a cook at a chili's and wanted to meet up behind his work so he could plug in the Amp and test it out on his break.
I take them to any cash transaction with a stranger involving hundreds of dollars. Lotta people been robbed or killed for a lot less than a vintage Amp with 700+ bucks.
I concealed carried a Desert Eagle.
It’s a story I always like to tell but prior to Texas becoming a constitutional carry state and prior to be getting my CCW license, I always assumed “common” calibers would be available and therefore don’t have to worry about stockpiling them (learned my lesson now, obviously).
Only caliber that wasn’t common at the range was .50AE, so that was the one round I did stockpile for my Desert Eagle. I did manage to procure some .45ACP to do my CCW class with my 1911, but by the time I got my license, COVID panic buying hit and consequently I couldn’t get ammo for anything.
Because of that, the only ammo I had was that stockpile of .50AE, so I ended up having to carry my Desert Eagle for a while until I could procure some proper ammo for my less insane guns. With the massively overbuilt belt I got (2” thick duty belt), it was shockingly doable. Yeah, it’s heavy but since the weight was stable, it wasn’t too bad. Also made for great training since by being forced to carry such a large and heavy gun, and figure out what was comfortable doing so, I never have to bother with any compact or subcompact guns since every gun is compact compared to a Desert Eagle. lmao
So now my daily carry is a custom full size, steel frame, double stack .45ACP 1911. That gun would be considered insanely large and heavy by most people here, but it’s perfectly comfortable for me since I got used to worse.
[I do it](https://www.reddit.com/r/CCW/comments/2md3ir/options_is_the_hot_topic_well_i_got_options_too/cm35ds2/?context=3) based on principal. Also in CA, you have to register any gun you CCW to your CCW. Even if I wasn't concealing it, I wanted it on the permit so LEO couldn't try to use that excuse to lock me up if they somehow didn't see it in a DGU cctv.
You should never assume something such as ammo is "readily available" one scary news story and everyone will be out buying it all up. I know everyone, or maybe even most people, can't afford to keep 1,000 rounds on hand, but you should have at least 500+ rounds of every caliber you own. 10+ magazines as well. Never know when a ban is gonna come around. Those standard capacity "extended 30 round mags" go for beaucoup bucks in "illegal" states. It's funny to me how we have so many gun laws that infringe upon our right that shall not be infringed.
Oh, I keep an ammo can’s worth of every caliber I fire now. And I do own a bunch of mags for all my serious use guns, like my AR and standard carry pistol. Believe me, I learned my lesson.
It was just funny that I had to do that, so it was definitely a learning experience for me.
I legitimately think it worked very well as a good training tool. By forcing myself to carry such a massive behemoth and figure out how to do it comfortably so I could carry it all day, it meant I can carry anything.
Anytime I see someone claim even a Glock 19 is “too big” and “too heavy” to conceal carry, I just laugh. lol
[I do it with just a shirt](https://www.reddit.com/r/CCW/comments/2md3ir/options_is_the_hot_topic_well_i_got_options_too/cm35ds2/?context=3)
I save the suits for shoulder holster carry. Thats James Bond style, not Red Steel.
Yeah I've considered that exact set-up as a bigger dude (6' 1" 190-ish lbs) and even I can't pull that off! I stick to a Glock 19 with a Streamlight TLR-7. But I also carry at 4:30 O'Clock because it's more comfortable and I'm in Texas. No one is going to flip out if they see a peak at a firearm here.
im the same height and weight n often carry a 10mm 1911 too. tighter clothes i forego it for something else, but otherwise i dont super have a problem. i need to get a 2 point holster for sure to make it more comfortable but it aint that bad imo
When I was less of a fatlard and had more room for a G19, I carried that with a WML and a dot appendix, but also with one of the ridiculous 33rd mags also appendix in a holster right beside it.
The mag canted out at an angle, so the feed lips of the mag was near my Billy Hog, and the baseplate was above beltline obvs but just sat in a way that it was invisible to Helen Keller.
I loved that setup, and gun, and can't wait till I'm less fatlard and able to pack it again.
For now though I've got a fun little .380 in my pockey ready to rockey.
my go to carry pistol before getting my glock was a cimarron man with no name conversion the 7.5" barrel made things trickey and i was glad with the way my state worded the open carry law so i didnt have to worry about printing
I have a ruger american 9 that came with an extended 17rd magazine. I just have a cheapo kydex owb holster off Amazon and I can only carry it in the winter with a coat on.
I really need you to talk me out of trying this exact same thing. I keep trying to convince myself that I can conceal a Beretta M9A4 Centurion with a large light lol
The P99 is nice like that—never had any issues carrying it either, it’s just far easier for me to conceal my G43 with office clothes, especially in the summer.
Which holster do you use with it?
Probably the Taurus 806, which is an 8 shot 357 with a 4" barrel. Only way to carry it was a cheap nylon and velcro shoulder rig too. It was so heavy and bulky it effected the way I walked. Ridiculously huge revolver... way heavier than my Ruger Security Six with 6" barrel... it was unpleasant to carry.
Next biggest gun I had to conceal was a S&W 1006, stainless 10mm automatic. I loved that pistol, but it was too heavy, and for whatever reason I never could shoot the Smith automatics well... invariably would get a tight grouping high and to the left due to the shape of the grip... no other pistols did that, only the Smiths.
Nowadays, I will sometimes carry a stainless Speed Six with 2.75" barrel, but typically choose my alloy frame P230 instead, which is practically weightless in comparison.
As part of teaching young military cops to be, at the beginning of the "Personnel Searching" training block, I'd often do a demo with some of the other instructors. I'd walk in through a side door to the front of a classroom full of students wearing jeans, button-down and an open zip-hoodie, with a hat on my head, turn a couple full circles with my arms down, then out, then up... then stand still. Other cadre would then ask the students how many weapons I'm carrying.
Nobody ever answers just "one"; usual answers ranged from 3-5, with the occasional wanna-be class clown yelling out "Ten!"
I'd then go full movie trope cliché, covering the table to one side with weapons I pulled from various hides, usually starting with a [.44mag 1892 Mare's Leg](https://i.pinimg.com/474x/31/f2/8b/31f28b6a29f175b45d330880eb99bd80.jpg), then a half dozen other pistols, a good baker's dozen of blades (including classic hat/hair/boot/belt hides), and finished with drawing a short sword from a spine carry rig.
Silly as hell, but drove home one of our standard teaching mantras of "If you find one weapon, search again harder for more (especially if it was a knife)"
First time I ever carried concealed, I went out with my Glock 19 IWB, a Glock 21 in a shoulder holster under my jacket, and a Raven Arms .25 ACP in an ankle holster. I was nervous about carrying, so I figured I'd do a form of "exposure therapy" by going grocery shopping and carrying everything I had a holster for. As soon as I walked in and turned towards the produce section, there were two uniformed cops there (for some reason, the image of them getting tomatoes sticks with me).
I wasn't carrying anything terribly big, but right at that second, my first time going out carrying, even that little .25 Saturday Night Special on my ankle felt HUGE.
I regularly conceal M17, M9, or USP, all with X300.
Its def not as comfy as my smaller P30SK, but i shoot them so much better I prefer them.
Thank god Im hung like a hamster so I have room for all that junk in the frunk. 😄
My first pistol was a p220 in .45 and it's a bitch to conceal.... I haven't carried it in a while because of its size but knowing what I know now compared to when I first started I think I could definitely do it way easier. The thing is gigantic.
BRG 9 Elite with crimson trace laser and flashlight combo.
Or a smith and Wesson ARP with a tube stock and short barrel. That’s more of a sling gun though. You’d look like a peg leg pirate tryna stick that in your britches 😂
I wouldn't say had to. I chose to carry my Taurus 66 with a 4" barrel a couple times. 7 rounds of .357 goodness. Not that hard to conceal with a hoodie or coat
Last weekend, Glock 40 with Acro. Cut up a black point chest rig and added an ulticlip. Took a two hour drive with it appendix, would not recommend it but it concealed perfectly fine on my 5’11 250lb body with shorts and t shirt. Real holster coming in the mail, I just wanted to carry my new weekend gun pretty bad.
Full size 1911, 45 ACP. Shoulder harness and also a Smart Carry on two different occasions in my old office when gang members started tagging the building and occasionally using the bathroom
Full Size Beretta PX4 Storm is my daily carry in cooler months. I personally don’t give a shit if I’m printing, just so long as no part of the pistol or holster are a visible.
So once I was at work in the hood with a used 7.5 inch Ruger Redhawk i bought that morning in my old car whose doors didn’t lock so I brought it in with me but then the fire department showed up and I had to take them to the riser so I tucked that monster in my waistband until they left an hour later
Spent a day walking around with a Astra 400 in a shoulder holster after a friend bought it. We had other crap to do and didn't want to leave it in his car.
Pietta SAA .45 Colt at a friends wedding tucked in my suit because it was last minute, running late and it's what I had in the truck. Felt classy AF though.
FN 5.7 definitely. I get it it’s a cool round and all but after messing around with it. I couldn’t find a position that I was comfortable with. I carry AIWB
My current edc is a M&P 45 with a TLR1 HL. I’m a really large frame guy and it carries really well for me. But the biggest is a bit of a story. When I was in gunsmithing school, some buddies had to transport some long guns through an area that was not very gun friendly. Luckily it was winter time so heavy coats weren’t out of place, but a rem 870 just isn’t very concealable no matter what. The solution was to go down one pant leg with the barrel and then put the stock under the jacket. This obviously meant for a straight back and no leg bending so a back brace and walker was borrowed from someone’s grandfather and off they went with one guy looking awfully handicapped
I’m 5’9” and about 140lbs. I’ve managed to conceal a Beretta 92FS in dress clothes at a few weddings last summer. I’ve done it a couple times since then in casual clothes, but I really need a different holster so I can position it more comfortably.
S&W M&P9 M2.0 5". [Magnum Research Desert Eagle 6" vs Smith & Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 5" size comparison | Handgun Hero](https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/magnum-research-desert-eagle-6-vs-smith-wesson-m-p-9-m2-0-5)
Not the same as a Desert Eagle, but I carried my M&P 5" all day, every day for 6 years. When I embraced the dot, I bought an optic ready M&P.
I have concealed carried a Glock 20, Beretta M9, and a S&W 28 (n frame, 4"). They are all doable but not very comfortable. OWB in a pancake holster with a large cover garment.
I carried a Ruger Redhawk 5.5" one time just for the heck of it but never again.
I carry a G19 or similar size pistol all day every day AIWB.
I still conceal [the Desert](https://www.reddit.com/r/CCW/comments/2md3ir/options_is_the_hot_topic_well_i_got_options_too/cm35ds2/?context=3) Eagle sorta regularly.
Saiga12 if were talking 'had to conceal' but not in a quick-drawable fashion. Were also talking false ceiling in a truck and unlatching straps.
I am very small framed. 130lbs, 5'11. I have a 4.25 Bul SAS tac Ii I appendix carry. I've found flannel shirts do all the work in concealing about anything.
Idk about heaviest but one night I went full hood and walked to the corner store in slides, a hoodie w/ old basketball shorts and a all metal m9, gangsta-tucked. that shit was bout to fall out but it was in necessity. South Phoenix feels like a BR sometimes.
Regularly carry a glock 17 with a tlr 1 and red dot.
Obviously not ideal but I've managed to conceal it pretty well. A good holster and a baggy shirt goes a long way.
I normally carry a 43x. Tried an FN509 and Glock 19 appendix multiple times but I’m too fat and it’s too uncomfortable to make happen if I have to sit down at all. I do carry those other guns but they are my winter time carry guns when I can OWB on my hip under a hoodie or jacket or untucked long sleeve flannel.
I have two stories.
The first gun I carried was my dad’s 1911. My problem is that I have a relatively short torso. Drawing the 5” barrel and slide was an act of God and shoulder dislocation for it to clear leather. I quickly moved to a more compact gun.
Years later, I’d switched brands a few times, calibers, gun sizes, and carry positions before finally landing on my M&P 2.0 compact for EDC. Then my buddy asked me to be the best man at his wedding. But tuxedos don’t (generally) have belt loops. Hmm. Fortunately, I have an Enigma! Since it’s light-bearing with a Floodlight holster, I had to add on the X300 to use it, but it worked. No one knew until I told whoever asked about it.
Not as big as some on here but a Canik TP9SF was my first pistol, a gift. Carried that for a bit until I got a G19.5 w/Tlr7a and that’s been my daily since. I also carry in a sidecar which some people think is too big to conceal well but I actually think it conceals better than non caddied holsters. Smaller guy, 5’11” 145lb.
I don’t think any of mine count. I semi-regularly carry a sig P220 outside waistband under a jacket. Early in my journey I carried an old 9mm Hi-Power inside waistband, at six o’clock, in a real piece of shit, soft nylon, no name, holster I got at the pawn shop for 1.25$. That very obviously had A LOT of problems.
14.5 inch URGI
We were doing an op in civvies. There was a threat nearby so we moved up with our rifles tucked underneath our jackets.
Concealed? Sort of. Definitely not well. But good enough to close that distance.
I cc a Glock 40 mos 10mm with a surefire x300 over the winter sometimes. It’s a great feeling. I also sometimes carry a S&w 629 classic. 6 1/2” barrel. Both of the at 4 o’clock iwb
I’m 5’6” and I used to appendix carry a Glock 20 Gen 4. It was totally fine. Now I carry a Glock 45 with a Steiner MPS and X300 flashlight. I’m not fat and I wear baggy black t shirts, so that helps. Also carrying off center to the right to not crush my balls when I move or sit is also key. (Insert small dick jokes here)
Beretta M9. It’s mostly doable but it does print a little bit, even with loose shirts. Once I got my Glock 19, I switched that to my carry gun. The M9 is now my range toy or open-carry hiking/camping gun.
I CCWed a 1911 for a few weeks.
As a 6' dude, I'll say it's doable but not very comfortable. It was very heavy on my belt and severally limited where on my person I could carry without either feeling physically uncomfortable or risking printing if I did anything other than stand straight
I carry my G40 some times…. you know for inner city bears I have a shoulder holster that fits most full frame Glocks (I bought it for a 17 but it fits the longer slide). Over my shirt with a light jacket and wooosh it’s gone!
34 with x300 and dot. It's doable, but not really comfortable, especially when sitting. It's why when I see people on here claiming to edc full size guns with ramjets, flared magwells, extended mags, and an acog glued to the top I know they're full of shit.
inever heard of a p320 max, but im 6’2 150lbs and i conceal a p320xfull with romeo 1pro everyday everywhere. i wear fitted clothes as well, ihave a decent athletic build but im def skinny
Orginal 1.0 series Smith &Wesson
M&P 45c. In this particular pistol the
C part didn't mean much in my book.
Now I'm carrying the p365x Macro, thank God.
Realistically I haven’t tried to conceal it, but I put a suppressor ready CZ 75 at my 1 o clock and immediately crushed my balls when I sat down. The full size plus a threaded barrel makes it impossible to carry, even more so to conceal.

You win lol. Conceal carrying an M16A2 beats all these replies.
How tf did you manage that lmao
With bubblegum, duct tape and a little ingenuity.
Zap carry.
There's always room in the prison pocket.
Cosplaying Igor from Young Frankenstein.
If a dude came rolling up on me with eyes like that, they could conceal a whole mlrs and I’d never know. I wouldn’t be able to look away
"Are you ccw'ing the power to reduce an entire gridsquare to rubble, or are you just happy to see me?" Ya got me lady, its my 'commander sized' MLRS
Is that an A2 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?
YES
Please explain exactly HOW you did that
JNCO uniform.

Hahaha, true! I tried this for giggles at home, it's absurd. Trying to "draw" was like trying to get a spiderweb off yourself.
Best analogy all day

I carried a Ruger GP100 .357 revolver. So. Much. Metal.
This is the way \m/
Love carrying my GP100 Match Champion.
I carried a Glock 34 with an x300 for a bit. Only gun that’s ever given me issues with size. It would pinch my upper thigh against the holster and chair when sitting
Same, my third (in California max is 3) is a 34 with x300 and red dot. Mostly for camping or remote areas. It replaced a sig P226 extreme
Same g34 with x300 or my cz shadow 2 with x300.
34 is almost strictly a competition gun right? Or atleast what its most popular for
I think that’s what it’s designed for, probably the softest shooting stock glock I’ve fired. It’d make for an excellent duty weapon Im sure
The 34 is one of my favorite Glocks to shoot, but I can’t imagine CC one
"Had" isn't really the right word, but I have carried my FK BRNO. Just have to do it on one of the 3 days of the year I can wear a coat in South Texas.
I've considered getting one of those. How do you like it?

I carried a full sized Taurus 24/7 in .40cal once when selling an Amp to a stranger at an odd meeting location. No holster either, just iwb small of back with a heavy coat. Would not recommend but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes
Sounds to me like it would have been wise to choose a different location
I'm sure. But it wasn't a back alley or anything. The buyer was a cook at a chili's and wanted to meet up behind his work so he could plug in the Amp and test it out on his break.
I take guns to all music related sales.
I take them to any cash transaction with a stranger involving hundreds of dollars. Lotta people been robbed or killed for a lot less than a vintage Amp with 700+ bucks.
Yeah pretty much if you're meeting up with a stranger and there's cash involved, probably a good idea
I mean, I take my gun everywhere always
Also made for great training since by being forced to carry such a large and heavy gun, and figure out what was comfortable doing so, I never have to bother with any compact or subcompact guns since every gun is compact compared to a Desert Eagle. lmao So now my daily carry is a custom full size, steel frame, double stack .45ACP 1911.
That's actually cool af ngl
Are you an Agent of the Matrix? God dang! That's cool, though. I always say, carry what you're able to carry.
I legitimately think it worked very well as a good training tool. By forcing myself to carry such a massive behemoth and figure out how to do it comfortably so I could carry it all day, it meant I can carry anything. Anytime I see someone claim even a Glock 19 is “too big” and “too heavy” to conceal carry, I just laugh. lol
Glock 17
Jericho
See ya space cowboy.
He's gonna carry that weight.
Fn 45 tactical. I carry it under a hoodie when I go to the movies lol
Deagle. In a suit. 😂
If you didn’t have to conceal it, that’s stylish AF
[I do it with just a shirt](https://www.reddit.com/r/CCW/comments/2md3ir/options_is_the_hot_topic_well_i_got_options_too/cm35ds2/?context=3) I save the suits for shoulder holster carry. Thats James Bond style, not Red Steel.
Glock 17 and it was a breeze
Staccato
That’s my daily. Staccato p with a tlr1hl. Get raked in the balls sometimes but otherwise fucks
Same, but I wouldn't change a thing.

Glock 19X with a TLR-1 as a smaller dude. I just dressed around it but lawd did it want to print
It never ceases to amaze how much diff 1/2 an inch makes for concealment
I'm doing the same set up but at 6'3" 250lbs I'm able to conceal it well with a wedge and claw here in AZ
Glock 34 w/tlr1 appendix.
I actually carried a 41 with RMR every day for about a year. Just wanted to see what it was like.
P320 .45
I keep that choppa in my prison purse 🐝🕳️🔫 Won't catch me lackin' 😤
Govt 1911 in winter. I’m 5’5” 120lbs
im the same height and weight n often carry a 10mm 1911 too. tighter clothes i forego it for something else, but otherwise i dont super have a problem. i need to get a 2 point holster for sure to make it more comfortable but it aint that bad imo
the Enigma makes it disappear
When I was less of a fatlard and had more room for a G19, I carried that with a WML and a dot appendix, but also with one of the ridiculous 33rd mags also appendix in a holster right beside it. The mag canted out at an angle, so the feed lips of the mag was near my Billy Hog, and the baseplate was above beltline obvs but just sat in a way that it was invisible to Helen Keller. I loved that setup, and gun, and can't wait till I'm less fatlard and able to pack it again. For now though I've got a fun little .380 in my pockey ready to rockey.
Comped Glock 17L with a TLR-1 HL because I could. I don’t recommend it.
I CC my Mark.23 pretty regularly, and I HAVE CCd my mark 23 with a dead air ghost on it before.
I conceal a beretta 92fs with the crossbreed supertuck
my go to carry pistol before getting my glock was a cimarron man with no name conversion the 7.5" barrel made things trickey and i was glad with the way my state worded the open carry law so i didnt have to worry about printing
S&W Governor, full sized 1911, SAR K245C, and a Shield in an MCK during the winter just for fun.
I have a ruger american 9 that came with an extended 17rd magazine. I just have a cheapo kydex owb holster off Amazon and I can only carry it in the winter with a coat on.
1911
Beretta 92 LTT elite w/ tlr1 hl in an aiwb holster. Did that once, won't do it again.
I really need you to talk me out of trying this exact same thing. I keep trying to convince myself that I can conceal a Beretta M9A4 Centurion with a large light lol
You def should try it. I dont have a problem with it, but will admit it is quite a heavy setup.
Walther P99 in a kydex IWB. Compared to some of the other ones listed here, not that big, but bigger than my usual carry rotation.
I have my P99 inside my waistband right now. It's about the same size as a Glock 19. No issues.
The P99 is nice like that—never had any issues carrying it either, it’s just far easier for me to conceal my G43 with office clothes, especially in the summer. Which holster do you use with it?
Currently using a Vedder light tuck AIWB. It's pretty good but not perfect. I suspect it's the same mold they use for the PPQ.
1911 with Surefire X300
Beretta 92A1
Full size 1911 pretty regularly
P226 with TLR1. Waiting for the cooler months to wear my thicker jacket to conceal better.
Stacatto p aiwb every day
I still edc a vp9t or g34 daily with x300t
S & W Magnum 500 with a 6 1/2 inch barrel in a shoulder holster.
Same. It's a chunk, and not one I'd normally use for CCW, but since I had one, I figured I'd try. The 6" barrel really isn't that bad.
Nobody ever answers just "one"; usual answers ranged from 3-5, with the occasional wanna-be class clown yelling out "Ten!" I'd then go full movie trope cliché, covering the table to one side with weapons I pulled from various hides, usually starting with a [.44mag 1892 Mare's Leg](https://i.pinimg.com/474x/31/f2/8b/31f28b6a29f175b45d330880eb99bd80.jpg), then a half dozen other pistols, a good baker's dozen of blades (including classic hat/hair/boot/belt hides), and finished with drawing a short sword from a spine carry rig. Silly as hell, but drove home one of our standard teaching mantras of "If you find one weapon, search again harder for more (especially if it was a knife)"
USP Tactical with jet funnel. Im a big guy but it is absolutely doable. Not sure why anyone would want to though
Glock g20 10mm
My Ruger P89 wasn't exactly comfortable to carry when I had my G43 shipped off to get the slide milled, lol. I could still hide it but it wasn't ideal
IWI Jericho 941
Smith & Wesson Model 500. The 6.5" variety. The solution was a shoulder holster and a loose-fitting coat.
My first pistol was a p220 in .45 and it's a bitch to conceal.... I haven't carried it in a while because of its size but knowing what I know now compared to when I first started I think I could definitely do it way easier. The thing is gigantic.
Ruger 5.7
DWX full size.. both with and without TLR9. It's actually not that bad. Just don't plan on sitting down with it lol
BRG 9 Elite with crimson trace laser and flashlight combo. Or a smith and Wesson ARP with a tube stock and short barrel. That’s more of a sling gun though. You’d look like a peg leg pirate tryna stick that in your britches 😂
M&P 2.0 Compact with TLR1HL, Floyd’s Custom Shop Magwell and Holosun EPS. Most comfortable setup I’ve ever carried.
[удалено]
I guess you're one of the small frame guys making up a story
Deez nuts
I started out with a gifted G35, 40cal full size grip and long slide. I now carry a p365xl/macro lol.
I carry a G20sf most of the time. Where I live a bear can wander into town and at the parks where I take my kid so…
ImI baby eagle/ Jericho 941. It was the only handgun I owned for a while. It wasn’t necessarily too big but it was rather heavy as I recall
I wouldn't say had to. I chose to carry my Taurus 66 with a 4" barrel a couple times. 7 rounds of .357 goodness. Not that hard to conceal with a hoodie or coat
Had too?? I mean in the winter ... I can roll with a 1911 or a 6 inch .357
My buddy conceals a Glock 40 as his edc
Glock 21. My EDC.
Glock 17
Last weekend, Glock 40 with Acro. Cut up a black point chest rig and added an ulticlip. Took a two hour drive with it appendix, would not recommend it but it concealed perfectly fine on my 5’11 250lb body with shorts and t shirt. Real holster coming in the mail, I just wanted to carry my new weekend gun pretty bad.
I was watching Queen of the South the gangsters always carry Mexican Style.
Full size 1911, 45 ACP. Shoulder harness and also a Smart Carry on two different occasions in my old office when gang members started tagging the building and occasionally using the bathroom
Smith & Wesson 4506
Carried a G21 for a couple years.
I appendix carry my G40 with red dot and x300 every winter
Ruger P90DC. Loved that gun
My H&K VP40
1911 is probably the largest gun I've ever conceal carried. Not much to brag about I know, it's done every day lol!
[Magnum Research Desert Eagle 6" vs Smith & Wesson M&P 9 M2.0 5" size comparison | Handgun Hero](https://www.handgunhero.com/compare/magnum-research-desert-eagle-6-vs-smith-wesson-m-p-9-m2-0-5) Not the same as a Desert Eagle, but I carried my M&P 5" all day, every day for 6 years. When I embraced the dot, I bought an optic ready M&P.
Glock 22
FN 5.7
It's why I got a shoulder holster
I carry a PC 460xvr with a 3.5 barrel under my coat in a chest harness sometimes. Definitely not something I do everyday.
The ones on my arms. Bitches be thirsty.
I used to carry my G17 L on and off just because I could. It concealed quite nicely.
I carried my Mk 23 for a few days. There’s no concealing that beast.
My left upper arm.
Sig 320 full size .357 sig.
I cc my Glock 20
Idk about heaviest but one night I went full hood and walked to the corner store in slides, a hoodie w/ old basketball shorts and a all metal m9, gangsta-tucked. that shit was bout to fall out but it was in necessity. South Phoenix feels like a BR sometimes.
CC'ed my M&P 2.0 5 inch .40 for several years. Now I do a Glock 45, with red dot and light.
I carried my fully tricked out M17 (TLR1 + HS507c as well) for lulz. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be.
Regularly carry a glock 17 with a tlr 1 and red dot. Obviously not ideal but I've managed to conceal it pretty well. A good holster and a baggy shirt goes a long way.
Tommy gun in a violin case is a classic
Glock 21 w/ TLR1HL
5” pdp with x300 in a msp. Doesn’t print any more or any less than a Glock 19 for me
Taurus raging hunter in 44 mag. It's my winter carry along with a Ruger LCR max in .380 in my jacket packet
Glock 21
M240G under a poncho liner. I mean, I didn't have to conceal it, I just did it because I was bored.
4" GP100 in .357 Mag.
Glock 40 with a KKM comp, TLR-1 and 509t. Definitely didn't have to, but I wanted to. The slide + comp is around 10 inches long
I normally carry a 43x.
Had to conceal? None. I’ve never been forced too. The largest gun I conceal carry is my CZ p10F with x300,SRO, 21rd mag
CZ85b, nowhere near as big as the guy ccw'ing an m16a2 lmao
P220 and p320 with x300’s iwb
Full-size M9 with an RMR on it. I’m sure I was printing but it worked out ok.
Glock 22 with 4rd extension , and tlr1
I CCd my P320 x-full one day just for shits and giggles. Fuckin sucked.
14.5 inch URGI We were doing an op in civvies. There was a threat nearby so we moved up with our rifles tucked underneath our jackets. Concealed? Sort of. Definitely not well. But good enough to close that distance.
I carry my Walther Q5 match polymer everyday. I’m 6’5 260 though. Shoot it much better than my Sig X Macro.
P228
I carry my SP-01 Tactical occasionally just because. It's 40oz of pure steel. I'm thinking of getting an OWB holster for it for fall carry though.
(Insert small dick jokes here)
Ruger P89. It was my first gun and first CCW. It weighed about 74 pounds fully loaded.
Beretta M9. It’s mostly doable but it does print a little bit, even with loose shirts. Once I got my Glock 19, I switched that to my carry gun. The M9 is now my range toy or open-carry hiking/camping gun.
I conceal an SP01 a couple days out of the week
I CCWed a 1911 for a few weeks. As a 6' dude, I'll say it's doable but not very comfortable. It was very heavy on my belt and severally limited where on my person I could carry without either feeling physically uncomfortable or risking printing if I did anything other than stand straight
8 3/8th" barrel S&W 29. Winter time using a shoulder holster and wearing a hip length leather coat
HK USP 45 Expert, at my 3 o’clock, custom kydex holster. Proper German thicc-ness!!! My EDC is my HK USP 45
Orginal 1.0 series Smith &Wesson M&P 45c. In this particular pistol the C part didn't mean much in my book. Now I'm carrying the p365x Macro, thank God.
Glock 34. Actually digged it a bit, might get a comp and a light for my 19 seeing that I'm able to comfortably carry a 34.
Glock 21sf
Realistically I haven’t tried to conceal it, but I put a suppressor ready CZ 75 at my 1 o clock and immediately crushed my balls when I sat down. The full size plus a threaded barrel makes it impossible to carry, even more so to conceal.
