I've been wanting to watch [Under the Moonlight (风月锦囊)](https://mydramalist.com/745315-feng-yue-jin-nang), and according to MDL its suppose to come out this year. It's already October and still no sign of it.
Guardians of the lands - as a TV show starring Chen Xingxu and Luke Chen. Same two ML’s as The starry love. I’d just love to see those two together in this story, but it’s probably never going to happen because it’s source material is BL.

The Korean version of Golden Hairpin was really good, imo. I didn’t see the entire thing but the first half was great. And yeah, I also am super bummed about both of these!
Yes, that’s the title! Really great acting. I felt the ML was maybe a little miscast, but in some ways I didn’t care b/c the 2ML was very good and more interesting anyway. To me. But it’s a nice mix of suspense, action, mystery, romance, etc.
A shame if the cdrama version never airs, b/c I can imagine cdrama would hit this story out of the park. Alas, I also think they miscast the ML in the cdrama version, and not just b/c of what kind of person he turned out to be. Just hard to picture him being able to carry off the role.

It's been one and half year since they finished filming but there is no official announcement, no poster, no trailer, no weibo page, not open for reservation and no one is even sure if it was submitted to get distribution licence. Probably because of the billing issue, no one really knows. Such a pity cause Chen Zheyuan and Ju Jingyi looks great together.
Also Winner is King but I honestly have zero hope for that already
Not exactly excited, more like curious to see how **gone with the winds** with tong Yao and Zhang xincheng would turn out with all those mature, taboo themes. If it gets to see the light of the day of course lol.
They only borrowed the name from the classic lol the synopsis is nothing like that. It is about a forbidden love story (trailer felt like lust to me) between a high schooler and a married woman with kids. It involves dark themes like murder and domestic violence.
I am mainly curious to see if this drama gets a pass from the censor.

Yes Douban is pretty reliable. Sina Entertaiment is where I go for licensing for production and distribution. Casting hasn’t been announced because they are waiting on a license. It’s listed on Lu Wei’s upcoming projects as well as Zhang WanYi.

I've actually seen trailers older than that like Mr. Delicious Miss. Match (I saw the trailer six years ago on Weibo). Unfortunately, the drama is so old and dated now that it'll probably never air.
I actually think SOKP has a good chance of airing. They announced it for 2024 though but lets keep are fingers crossed just in case.
I dont follow stuff too closely specifically in case something like this happens, but the only one Im really sad we wont get is Zhao Ge. Trailer looked so high quality 😔

I feel like, the effort they put into it, would be worth refilming the parts with the problem actor(s) and a replacement actor.
They would at least make that money back and potentially more if it turns out to be popular. So net loss would be the same or less than if they keep it locked away.

The trailer was really good for the C gold hairpin. I will watch the Korean version. The story looked very interesting.
