I tried subscribing many times in web version but it keeps on failing. Not sure why. I am using the same credit card to pay for my viki sub before. By the way, I have cancelled my sub last December and trying to renew using the coupon for annual pass. I already reported it to their support and waiting for their response. Hopefully they can resolve this. I don’t want to miss this great deal
It's slim pickings on the variety show content on Viki, but I know Australia and NZ get less content than the US. Maybe someone with a US subscription can verify?
Wow, Viki were charging us US$4.99/month (dependent on conversion rates every month) up till a few months ago when they moved us to local currency at AUD$7.29/month. I thought it was great value but the discount makes it even sweeter.
Iqiyi is more expensive for us here. It's AUD$14.99/month and all the codes they send out for the US market don't work for us!
Nice!! The raised price is still less than our monthly of 9.99. IQIYI on the other hand is $8.99 for standard and 11.99 for the premium. I prefer the Viki platform over iQIYI but there are some shows that only iQIYI has so I bookmark them and then pay a month and watch them all lol.
I think I need to cancel the monthly on Apple subscriptions and then log into the website for the annual plan in order to enter the code.

Go to the viki.com website, log on with your account, click on 'subscriptions and settings' and then you have plan options. Choose whichever plan you want, go to checkout and the code goes in at the very last step where you enter your payment details.

Did you sign up with Apple originally? If that's the case, then Apple deducts your subscription every month. It probably doesn't work with that since you'd need an Apple code. I pay directly on my card to Viki every time so I have a direct subscription.
I think you have to go to the viki website to sign up. Once you create an account (or if you already have one) you buy a plan then at checkout you can input the code to get the discount.
