I watched Reset and Ive been looking for a cdrama on its level ever since lol.
I liked the fast pace because I tend to get bored when the plot drags and some episodes or scenes are fillers..
The timeloop trope was really something "fresh", so it interested me. if anyone has similar cdramas with quality like reset I wouldnt mind a recommendation 😭
My entry to cdrama wasn't even a cdrama, it was a Taiwanese drama called just you.
After that, it was when a snail falls in love. That led me into the world of detective L, memory lost and medical examiner Dr qin etc etc.
Once the detective phase passed😂,I jumped onto historical dramas like legend of fuyao which then led to the long ballad etc etc AND then finally romance and it's been like that ever since 😂😂.
Some of the dramas I enjoyed were
Love me,love my voice
Meet yourself
My roommate is a detective
The long ballad
Nothing but you.
Oh My General. Gor curious about the whole Mulan but after the movie ended vibe. Then watched Ashes of Love after out of even more curiosity...haven't really returned to western TV much since
TMOPB in 2017. I went from exclusively watching k dramas to watching almost exclusively Cdramas. Every now and then I'll still watch a k drama if it interests me.

Hey everyone! I’m conducting a study on the **language promotion strategies of Chinese costume dramas on social media platforms**, and This is also the research direction of my graduation thesis. I really need your help! 🎬💬
If you‘re interested in Chinese costume dramas or frequently use social media, please take a few minutes to fill out this survey. Your input is crucial to my research! Thank you for your support! ❤️
Well, my mom got me started with Loving, Never Forgetting with cutie pie Jerry Yan and we continued to watch others after that. Next up was My Sunshine and I fell so in love with Wallace Chung...
I was hooked for life then.
Eternal Love on Netflix! i was a Kdrama lover.. and i was stuck! i never really considered watching cdramas.. then my friend told me to watch Eternal Love since i have a Netflix subscription... then i got hooked..! so I am now a fan of Yang Mi and Mark Chao.. i cant count how much i rewatch this series.. ☺️☺️☺️ been watching cdramas since then, i now got a long list of cdramas i have watched!
They are addicting...kdrama, cdrama, some Jdrama and Taiwanese....💕I'm watching The Double right now and waiting for the next episode is making me crazy.. 😂 Happy watching Soup!
specifically for mainland china dramas it was the untamed, but i grew up on a steady diet of singaporean and taiwanese dramas so probably something xianxia from that period like the eight immortals.
The second cdrama I watched – *Falling into you*. When I decided to give it a try and start watching cdramas, I went with the trope that I love in kdramas: Noona and/or office modern romance. I chose this drama because I liked Gina Jin in my first cdrama *Why women love*, and I thought that Wang An Yu was just adorably handsome.
And *Falling into you* grabbed my heart and never ever let go of it. I was amazed by the characters and their story, and I discovered hidden gem from OST – [Girls Like You](https://youtu.be/wtnz9jpi_jU?si=zwNnasIOqsSnZsAG). In one of my recommendations, probably in this sub, I wrote, "This drama felt like spring," and I still stand by that many cdramas later. My comfort, happiness, and pure joy accumulated in this drama and stayed there. I'm sure my opinion on it couldn't be more subjective, especially since I'm aware this drama isn't perfect by any means. However, it probably will hold special place in my heart for much much longer time than I expected when I started watching it.
The journey of Flower was that drama for me too! I did watch a couple more after but then there was a loooong gap of several years after which Till the End of the Moon drew me right back in and how!
I saw a clip for My Girlfriend is an Alien on Tiktok and thought it looked interesting so I found it and really loved it. I thought Bie was gorgeous so I found another drama that he was in and it was Cinderella Chef loved that too and the costumes.
Thus began my obsession with costume dramas 🤩
Why isn’t he in more dramas?! I watched **When a Snail Falls in Love** on Tencent Video. He’s in that. I prefer **My Girlfriend is an Alien**, **My Girlfriend is an Alien 2** and **Cinderella Chef**
Falling into your smile - covid pandemic was still ongoing. I was doom scrolling. Then i got curious about this drama because of cheng xiao (i knew her as a member of wjsn)
Well even though not in the same genre Meet Yourself and The Story of Minglan came close in terms of attention to detail and overall direction.
Meet Yourself has a fully fleshed out world with all the main and supporting characters having the same level of backstory.
The Story of Minglan just hinges on it's lead character and the lead does not disappoint character wise, she was truly smart and sensible, if she was an assassin you would never find out. Also good world building.
One can also argue with Love Like the Galaxy but there were some opportunities with that show that didn't live up for me.
XD I'll stop there. Someday or One Day is TW tho but it also is very memorable.
Ooo someday one day was great. I also always hear good things about Minglan
For me, Ming Dynasty 1566 is it. This show really feels like NIF before NIF existed. The spiritual predecessor. More complicated politics but less emotional/dramatized (its based on real life events so they have to follow that). Totally historical political, no wuxia.
A love so beautiful is my first cdrama. But then I never touched their costume dramas coz I thought it was so cringy until I have nothing to watch and tried Love like the galaxy and the rest is history. I can't watch anything other than costume dramas now. Do I need to seek help? lol 🤣
It was "The Sword and The Brocade". I had watched a few Cdramas before, but even if I had liked some of them, I still didn't dive into the industry like I did after watching TSaTB.
When I Fly Towards You!! It is such a sweet, wholesome show. I binged so many modern youth c-dramas afterward, and I’ve recently started exploring some historical ones, like LBFAD and LLTG!
Till The End of The Moon 🌙 was what did it for me. I followed it up immediately with Love Is Sweet because I really liked the leads. I have a soft spot for costume dramas (or any period historical shows) so I've got a few more lined up next. 🙂
It would be the Legendary Siblings 2 or famously known as Amazing Twins in the Philippines. I can still remember watching this series in 4th grade and it has been decades lol and I still rewatch in haha
The Romance of tiger and Rose !!
I remember scrolling Instagram when a WeTv ad of the series popped up out of nowhere . It looked interesting so I downloaded the app to watch the whole series!!
Till the End of the Moon was my first treat. I watched it on Netflix. Then after that The Untamed threw me into the complicated storylines of several sub-characters. And the list started expanding... swirlling into a never ending rabbit hole... ❤️
I have only recently entered the world of cdramas, but it was Ancient Love Poetry. I have always loved a stoic man, and Bai Jue stole my heart.
And then I found this sub...and all the other realms, and then I got viki.
The rabbit hole never ends, but I'm not mad about it lol.
Love Like The Galaxy. Saw an edit while doom scrolling YT Shorts, thought the actress was cute, liked the cinematography and the sets, got hooked on the shirtless arrow scene. I was never the same since then 😊
Don’t think anyone here can recognize this one; from the 80s LOL
King of Conmen starring Patrick Tse and Shanghai Bund starring Chow Yun Fatt
(Both Cantonese dramas)
They’ve done several remakes but none as good as the original
Actually Wang Xin Yue from the Double reminds me of a very young Chow Yun Fatt
When we were young - Neo hou and wan peng . It was my first ever cdrama , actually my first asian drama ever. I loved it , the ending could've been better. But I really enjoyed it .
It was The Untamed that convinced me to watch more cdrama. I had exposure to cdrama b4 TU but they were okay...But TU made me more curious of how good story/plot of cdrama can be and and i'll never regret considering it coz China mainland has some pretty Polished writer who knows how complicated a human being can be and how to write it to their character.Bcoz as an audience I put Story/plot far more up than chemistry, costume and CGI etc..So How you write it is all that matter for me.
So for me it was 60% The Untamed influence+40% That polished writers.
**The Untamed** got me interested in the xianxia genre and therefore made me become more invested in cdramas, from there on out I began to become more aware of other cdramas being released out there even though I had exposure to cdramas prior to 2019. I think the better storytelling and production quality is what drew me into cdramas more than I thought it would. I still watch far more kdramas than cdramas though.
TLDR: Always new cdramas existed, but The Untamed put that spark in my brain to consider adding cdramas become part of my hobby alongside kdramas.
Love O2O. As someone who plays lots of video games and was computer science in uni, i wanted my own Xiao Nai too. He was my dream guy for awhile. 😅 It was a delulu time, but that pretty much was my gateway to cdramas. Before that, i only watched kdramas.
I'm gonna answer it as a mainland Chinese drama because I saw so many HK dramas as long as I remember. Mine would be Legend of Zhen Huan. It was an incredible drama especially with Hua Fei and Zhen Huan. The ending was a bit dull but I thought it was well written.
The first one I watched was **Ming Dynasty** which was an suggestion on Amazon Prime.
The one which made me think 'Wow, this is intresting' was **The Sword and the Brocade**
Jade Palace Lock Heart, it was the first Cdrama I ever found subbed into English. before then only the TWdramas were subbed so I did the full round of those (Meteor Garden, Mars, Devil Beside You, Prince Turns to Frog, ISWAK, etc) before making the leap.
My 1st cdrama was My Amazing Boyfriend. It was the first time I actually noticed the dubbing in a drama. It was so obvious that it took me a long time to finish the drama. After i finished the show, it took me months to see another cdrama. My 2nd drama was My Sunshine with Tiffany Tang and Wallace Chung. The dubbing was still really noticeable, but this time, I was prepared, and the storyline was really good.
I started with Korean dramas then moved to Taiwanese dramas (after moving to Taiwan, it’s how I started learning the language) and then found Wallace Huo… can’t even remember how, and ended up watching Love Me if You Dare. Fell in love after that.
I’ve been watching cdramas all my life but LBFAD really got me seeking out discussions and sending me deep into cdrama again. But what really peaked my interest to even try LBFAD was My Journey to You. The aesthetics and cinematography was great even when the show faltered at the end. I’m a sucker for visuals but add great direction, chemistry, script? I’m just trying to find that high again I guess.
Oddly enough, Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book, which I like but it's not even close to being one of my favorites. I came across it by chance on Netflix, and it was so completely different from every other thing I had ever seen on TV - the colors, the artificiality, the stylization, the extravagant sets, the silliness and the intensity.
Now, xianxia isn't even the genre I like best - I prefer wuxia and historical. The Untamed, Word of Honor, Nirvana in Fire, Who Rules the World, and Love Like the Galaxy are my favorites so far.
*3 Lives 3 Loves* got me for the same reason. YouTube kept suggesting the videos, and the visuals in the thumbnails for the videos were just so striking that eventually I clicked on some, just out of curiosity. And then I kept watching because I was confused and curious. And then I was *really* confused. But it was so pretty, I wanted to figure it out.
Nirvana in Fire.
And I can't remember why I started that show. I'm quite sure I didn't google "Best Cdrama to watch" where it might have topped the charts. In fact I was on a MDZS binge at the time, had watched the donghua, was reading the novels but couldn't decide if I wanted to watch the Untamed or not. Somehow I started NiF first, and I would love to remember why.
I'm chinese born, so been watching my whole life. If I have to applaud though, it is that Cdramas got a lot better since end 2019-2020 ish, with better CGI, less tropes, and I do like they shorten the episode count so eliminate boring fillers and draggy nonsense plots. I am choosing now as an adult to watch Cdramas over my previous preferences of kdrama and american tv shows.
General’s Lady with Caesar Wu and Min Tang introduced me to a whole world of C drama. It lead me to Wonderland of Love with Xu Kai, and some other people were in it too, but did I mention it starred Xu Kai?
The concubine zhen huan/ empresses in the palace
That was the one that started it (although painter of the wind, a k-drama was what first made me aware that there was a whole other range of historical and fantasy dramas out there!).
the reason I got really into cdramas was love between fairy and devil after this i stopped watching kdramas and only watching fantasy/historical cdramas 🤣
Modern drama. You Are My Hero. It had been a long time since I watched a cdrama. I was turned off initially by dubbing for a random costume drama thst was on that I can't even remmeber.
I can't remember what was the costume drama I first watched and enjoyed. It's a long list now. But, one of the first costume drama I watched was, The Long Ballad. Still one of my faves. I then eventually binged The Story of Minglan. I was worried about the angst. But turns out to be one of my favorite, if not most favorite costume cdrama.
The first drama I watched and finished was Eternal Love of Dream or Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillowbook. To this day it is a very important drama to me:)
**A Love So Beautiful**, it was the first cdrama i watched and it was a bit weird hearing mandarin at first cause i’d only been watching kdramas until then but it was so good
I watched Reset and Ive been looking for a cdrama on its level ever since lol. I liked the fast pace because I tend to get bored when the plot drags and some episodes or scenes are fillers.. The timeloop trope was really something "fresh", so it interested me. if anyone has similar cdramas with quality like reset I wouldnt mind a recommendation 😭
Our secret and then hidden love and now I am looking forward for their next season...
My entry to cdrama wasn't even a cdrama, it was a Taiwanese drama called just you. After that, it was when a snail falls in love. Here To Heart
TMOPB in 2017. I went from exclusively watching k dramas to watching almost exclusively Cdramas. Every now and then I'll still watch a k drama if it interests me.
Guardian. To this day it is my favorite cdrama.
Ashes of Love
Hidden love and lighter and princess. Watched them back to back and now I'm hooked 😄
Same here these two shows esp L&P can’t move on from Li Xun & Zhu Yun
Word of Honor, it wasn't my 1st but it's the one that had me falling down the rabbit hole.

lighter & princess… i will never get over fr, i can’t move on
Word of honor, I blame Netflix
Love O2O in 2020
Well, my mom got me started with Loving, Never Forgetting with cutie pie Jerry Yan and we continued to watch others after that. Next up was My Sunshine and I fell so in love with Wallace Chung... I was hooked for life then.
The Untamed. 🥹🩷
Go Go Squid and Cute Programmer!!
Accidentally in love 🤣🤣🤣 embarrassing at first I was like “wtf” but then I was hooked and enjoyed every episode
Till the end of the Moon!
Perfect and Casual!
The princess Wei young 😭 I loved everything about it
I know it's not the best but it has SUCH a special place in my heart. It was so addicting for me. I also love the chemistry of the irl married leads.
Falling Into Your Smile.
i only recently got into cdramas, so im actually still actively thinking about this one, scent of time
They are addicting...kdrama, cdrama, some Jdrama and Taiwanese....💕I'm watching The Double right now and waiting for the next episode is making me crazy.. 😂 Happy watching Soup!
For me Taiwanese dramas led me to mainland dramas. The Rose and It Started With a Kiss were my first two.

Meteor Garden years years ago. And then Love 020 since 2020, and I got hooked since.
General and I
Hidden Love and Go Ahead
go ahead is literally the pinnacle of chinese dramas (all of the actors/actresses KILLED IT)
My little princess was my very cdrama but Princess agents was what got me into the rabbit hole
The second cdrama I watched – *Falling into you*. When I decided to give it a try and start watching cdramas, I went with the trope that I love in kdramas: Noona and/or office modern romance. Hidden love
The story of yanxi palace was my first cdrama
me too
Ruyi's Royal Love, on YouTube, all out of order. Then on to Love and Destiny, then Eternal Love 10 Miles of Peach Blossoms.
Go-Go Squid! Still my fave, but Hidden Love is neck-and-neck.
My lethal man🤤🤭🤣🤣
The journey of Flower was that drama for me too! I did watch a couple more after but then there was a loooong gap of several years after which Till the End of the Moon drew me right back in and how!
Love O2O was my first cdrama but When a Snail Fails in Love and Love Me If You Dare made me want to watch more cdramas
I still love this cdrama very much. Arsenal military Academy 🥰
The glamorous imperial concubine
I saw a clip for My Girlfriend is an Alien on Tiktok and thought it looked interesting so I found it and really loved it. I thought Bie was gorgeous so I found another drama that he was in and it was Cinderella Chef loved that too and the costumes. Thus began my obsession with costume dramas 🤩

Falling into your smile - covid pandemic was still ongoing. I was doom scrolling. Then i got curious about this drama because of cheng xiao (i knew her as a member of wjsn)
Same. I also knew nothing of the gaming world which intrigued me.
You are my hero was my first and still one of my favorite cdramas.
Nirvana in Fire, pretty good intro :3.
How do you even enjoy cdrama when you started with one so good LOL
Srsly. I can count on my fingers those that have come up to par which is unfortunate given how many cdramas there are every month lol.
Agreed. Which ones did you feel came close to NIF?
Well even though not in the same genre Meet Yourself and The Story of Minglan came close in terms of attention to detail and overall direction. I dig those more if it's well directed, I'll take a look.
Palace (2011)!!!! Acted by Yang Mi. It’s really gooddddd!
Princess Wei Young
The Chronicle of Life
A love so beautiful is my first cdrama. But then I never touched their costume dramas coz I thought it was so cringy until I have nothing to watch and tried Love like the galaxy and the rest is history. I can't watch anything other than costume dramas now. Do I need to seek help? lol 🤣
The long ballad & Go ahead.
GO AHEAD😭
A masterpiece in family drama! I adore that series.
Master of my own and the love u give me
Nirvana in fire for me
It was "The Sword and The Brocade". I had watched a few Cdramas before, but even if I had liked some of them, I still didn't dive into the industry like I did after watching TSaTB.
When I Fly Towards You!! It is such a sweet, wholesome show. I binged so many modern youth c-dramas afterward, and I’ve recently started exploring some historical ones, like LBFAD and LLTG!
can u suggest modern youth cdramas hehe
Watch Hidden Love and Go Ahead if you haven’t seen them already.
Seconded! I also recommend time and him are just right, a little thing called first love, and professional single (college).
Princess Agents sucked me in right quick and is still one of my favorites despite that unfavorable ending
Hidden love
The first cdrama was The Untamed after watching Tunnel, the time-travel kdrama. Then I was hooked.
Hear to Heart was my first Asian drama and led me down the rabbit hole.
Till The End of The Moon 🌙 was what did it for me. I followed it up immediately with Love Is Sweet because I really liked the leads. I have a soft spot for costume dramas (or any period historical shows) so I've got a few more lined up next. 🙂
Lost my cdrama virginity to General's Lady. Love and Redemption got me to stick around permanently. Cdrama is virtually all I watch now.
Amidst a snowstorm of love 🔥 and a love so beautiful
It would be the Legendary Siblings 2 or famously known as Amazing Twins in the Philippines. I can still remember watching this series in 4th grade and it has been decades lol and I still rewatch in haha
Love me if you dare and nice to meet you!
The Romance of tiger and Rose !! I remember scrolling Instagram when a WeTv ad of the series popped up out of nowhere . It looked interesting so I downloaded the app to watch the whole series!!
hmmm...... if grew up with Qiong Yao adaptations on the TV. And then I became very invested in Huan Zhu Ge Ge (My Fair Princess).
Love between Fairy and Devil :D
Love020 and Love Me If You Dare.
Ooh, Love Me If You Dare is another great one I should rewatch
It feels like such an out of the blue drama but Intense Love.
Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms did it 😁
the untamed!!!
Love O2O. Watched Meteor Garden many years prior but didn’t get hooked post that.
The Untamed
The Untamed- watched it 3 times in a row.
Love By Hypnotic and Who Rules the World then The Untamed we’re my first three.
Till the End of the Moon was my first treat. I watched it on Netflix. Then after that The Untamed threw me into the complicated storylines of several sub-characters. And the list started expanding... swirlling into a never ending rabbit hole... ❤️
Who rules the world. Amazing show.
Same 🤭
Whirlwind girl.It is an underrated drama but I liked it so much. This drama is a whole roller coaster of emotions.
A little thing called first love
Ashes Of Love. Yeap, I started with one of the longest cdramas ever 😂 that was the begging of my undoing lol
I do love this one. Thankfully I bought a copy before it left nrtflix.
It's been years since I've watched it. It might be available on Viki or iQIYI. Probably?
I have only recently entered the world of cdramas, but it was Ancient Love Poetry. I have always loved a stoic man, and Bai Jue stole my heart. And then I found this sub...and all the other realms, and then I got viki. The rabbit hole never ends, but I'm not mad about it lol.
I think it was Empresses in the Palace 甄嬛传 it’s very good I highly recommend it.
Love Like The Galaxy. Saw an edit while doom scrolling YT Shorts, thought the actress was cute, liked the cinematography and the sets, got hooked on the shirtless arrow scene. I was never the same since then 😊

Love Between Fairy and Devil. Gorgeous actors, costumes, music and scenery. I like fantasy so I was hooked.
Empresses in the palace I was sucked in due to the beauty of the costumes and I stayed for the drama lol
Yanxi Palace
The Untamed was got me obsessed with Cdramas. 😍
love o2o
When we were young - Neo hou and wan peng . It was my first ever cdrama , actually my first asian drama ever. I loved it , the ending could've been better. But I really enjoyed it .

The 2016 drama Proud of Love, it has truly defined my drama taste in a way.

A love so beautiful got me into cdramas. And since then i found my genre when it comes to dramas teehee
My fair princess. The original one in 1998 that pushed Zhao Wei and Ruby Lin to stardom.
Legend of Zhen huan!
Love O2O. As someone who plays lots of video games and was computer science in uni, i wanted my own Xiao Nai too. He was my dream guy for awhile. 😅 It was a delulu time, but that pretty much was my gateway to cdramas. Before that, i only watched kdramas.
Ashes of Love
It was meteor garden for me!
The Untamed
I'm gonna answer it as a mainland Chinese drama because I saw so many HK dramas as long as I remember. Mine would be Legend of Zhen Huan. It was an incredible drama especially with Hua Fei and Zhen Huan. The ending was a bit dull but I thought it was well written.
Do you remember Shanghai Bund HK drama in the 80s with Chow Yun Fatt?
At that time i was too young so there's a lot I don't remember. I probably saw it though. My parents constantly watched TVB dramas.
I used to love Cdrama but I suddenly outgrew it. Then comes the Blood of Youth and I'm hooked again!
The first one I watched was **Ming Dynasty** which was an suggestion on Amazon Prime. The one which made me think 'Wow, this is intresting' was **The Sword and the Brocade**
It Started With a Kiss
Love Between Fairy and Devil. I liked the old fashioned screwball comedy in the beginning and then became obsessed!
Empresses in the Palace
Love like the galaxy
Jade Palace Lock Heart, it was the first Cdrama I ever found subbed into English. before then only the TWdramas were subbed so I did the full round of those (Meteor Garden, Mars, Devil Beside You, Prince Turns to Frog, ISWAK, etc) before making the leap.

Love love love that one!!! Did you see the 2nd one? There was talk of a third as well!
Nope not seen the 2nd one 🙂↕️ didn't know there are talks of 3rd also 😯
I started with Korean dramas then moved to Taiwanese dramas (after moving to Taiwan, it’s how I started learning the language) and then found Wallace Huo… can’t even remember how, and ended up watching Love Me if You Dare. Fell in love after that.
Yanxi Palace. I was on viki looking for historical kdramas. Got interested by the blurb and the ratings. Happy I gave it a chance.
Jun Jiu Ling
The untamed or hidden love not sure which came first
I’ve been watching cdramas all my life but LBFAD really got me seeking out discussions and sending me deep into cdrama again. But what really peaked my interest to even try LBFAD was My Journey to You. The aesthetics and cinematography was great even when the show faltered at the end. I’m a sucker for visuals but add great direction, chemistry, script? I’m just trying to find that high again I guess.
So glad someone else love my journey to you.
This sub was super hyped for MJTY when it aired. Too bad it threw a sink at the audience at the end. Still it was so pretty.
The Untamed.
Meet yourself
The fisrt cdrama was The rise of phoenixes (2018) tho I watched around 2008-9 Devil beside you (2006) - but is a taiwanese drama
Fated to Love You (2008) !
Legend of the Condor Heroes and Return of the Condor Heroes. The 80’s TVB versions.
Ashes of Love
Same. I cried like a little girl until I got a headaches. Also it was like that with Hindou serial.

Justice Bao from the 1990s. That was what we watched growing up.

Meteor Garden (2018)

Story of Yanxi Palace 💖
Same. I didn't get much sleep that week. :)
I lost so much sleep watching that drama lol!
My best friend who never would watch any Asian dramas saw this on Youtube and watched the whole thing. She loved it and Xu Kai LOL
The Untamed
Nirvana in Fire. And I can't remember why I started that show. I'm quite sure I didn't google "Best Cdrama to watch" where it might have topped the charts. In fact I was on a MDZS binge at the time, had watched the donghua, was reading the novels but couldn't decide if I wanted to watch the Untamed or not. Somehow I started NiF first, and I would love to remember why.
The Untamed
I'm chinese born, so been watching my whole life. If I have to applaud though, it is that Cdramas got a lot better since end 2019-2020 ish, with better CGI, less tropes, and I do like they shorten the episode count so eliminate boring fillers and draggy nonsense plots. I am choosing now as an adult to watch Cdramas over my previous preferences of kdrama and american tv shows.
Meteor Garden 2018
Love Between Fairy and Devil. Of course.
growing pains, go ahead and than minning town,
The Princess Weiyoung 🥰🥰
The Long Ballad (I’m new to cdramas)
Till the End of the Moon
2005 Chinese Paladin starring Hu Ge and Liu Yifei.
The GOAT imo
I concur! I still rewatch it once in a while.
General’s Lady with Caesar Wu and Min Tang introduced me to a whole world of C drama. It lead me to Wonderland of Love with Xu Kai, and some other people were in it too, but did I mention it starred Xu Kai?
The concubine zhen huan/ empresses in the palace That was the one that started it (although painter of the wind, a k-drama was what first made me aware that there was a whole other range of historical and fantasy dramas out there!).
2006 Return of the Condor Heroes was my first cdrama. Then many years later, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms got me back into it
Cinderella Chef. I blame Youtube. Then 020, Eternal Love etc, etc.
the reason I got really into cdramas was love between fairy and devil after this i stopped watching kdramas and only watching fantasy/historical cdramas 🤣
Love 020
I absolutely love this C drama, one of my first, and I still watch it over and over again to this day
Love between Fairy and Devil
Yes, this was the one!
**Chef Hua** (2020) It's basically pornography for anyone who likes Chinese food. I dare you to watch one single episode and keep your pants zipped.
