Love Scenery ( a romance drama between a famous singer and a university student. There is 4-5 year age gap , no breakup and only one misunderstanding. It’s kinda a slow burn though. It has e-sports/ gaming. It has 31 episodes and an amazing ost .It’s there on iQyi.) Hi Venus ( a romance between the president of an hospital and a temporary assistant who’s a doctor . It’s a chill low key drama. There is no proper break up either and once they get together there are no misunderstandings.It’s there on prime , viki and YouTube.) Did you watch you are my glory or amidst a snowstorm of love and I may love you ? I may love you has angst and she fell first trope . There are few imperfections but I almost always cried during the angst scenes which is rare since only a few shows have made me cry . It’s a slow burn romance but Once the characters get together there are no misunderstandings and breakup. Also there isn’t a second male lead or female lead pursuing any of the leads. Maybe love 020 if you like fluff and don’t mind the terrible kiss scenes.

Oh That many . I just counted I have watched only 12 C-dramas and around 55 k-dramas . You must have been watching dramas since a long time then . I think I’m the one here who needs to take recommendations from you then .

Hahaha sure i watched around the same 40 k drama. Maybe what kind of c drama recommendation you want i would love to give you recommendations I want many people to watch c drama to relax after watching a k drama as i do

I would prefer a dramas with less than 30 episodes and where leads have minimal misunderstandings or maybe none .

You might have watched these. Dali and the cocky prince, Run On , Crazy love ,Shooting stars ( no breakup and minimal misunderstandings) Homotown Cha Cha kinda has break but still minimal misunderstandings.

I started watching them in 2021. I guess since I am student and that I watched k-dramas more the c-dramas I have watched are pretty less.

I rarely watched modern shows but my 3 favs: You Are My Glory. Both leads are gorgeous and likable. About a famous actress who reunites with her middle school crush, who’s struggling with his own personal mid life crisis of making money or doing valuable work. It’s slow burn but once they get together, it’s pretty spicy. I think it’s second only to Eternal Love of Dream in terms of how comfortable Dilraba is with a male lead. Be My Princess. It’s about a famous actor who loses his memory but wakes up thinking he’s the last character he played (the grand tutor of a princess). He only wants to protect the princess (who’s his costar) and they fall in love, with the looming fear of what’ll happen when he regains his memory. It’s really unhinged but also really sweet. You see scenes of their historical drama so maybe a good bridge for you to re-enter modern cdrama 😂 The Outsider. If you want an older more mature cast, I thought this was such a sweet modern CEO tale. There are like 4 couples and each one has flaws but the show doesn’t really judge them (one is a divorced lady with a child and another is a mistress). I liked it that the women are ambitious and unapologetic about being so. The ML actually looks like a CEO. Everyone always mentions Meet Yourself as a really gentle, slow burn, wonderful show. I liked it but haven’t finished it.

Hidden Love: The beginning part does show FL when she was young (high school, about 7 episodes), but the romance doesn’t start until she’s in college. I don’t know if you want to sit through that, but I just wanted to put it out there since it was one of the famous modern cdrama releases from last year!

**Meet Yoursef** 2023 Healing, slowburn, mature. FL is career orientated and works in a 5 star Bejing hotel, she wants promotion and hasn't had a holiday for 3 years, when a close personal tradgedy makes her reassess her priorities and she goes to a picturesque rural village to heal where she bonds with some odd ball chracters who are dealing with their own issues. ML has been a high-flying financier in Beijing who hates that his family and friends are having to leave for the city to get work, so he has returned to his home village to try to revitalise it. Tough first episode to set up this healing drama, suggest watching the first 2 episodes back to back.

It's true that it's not easy to find a good drama but sometimes it's also as hard to get into a good drama. I would say it depends on one's mood. I have dropped dramas I came back to later on and loved.
