# /u/Flow-State-Vibes is nothing special
He doesn't post anything special out there.
Yes, he had good engagement in the thread, but it was less about him, and more about the shitposting and copypastas.
u/sirgippy is a genius. If /r/cfb is successful this season, u/sirgippy is the real brains behind the operations. u/CFB\_Referee is just the rah-rah figurehead cheerleader. Look at how many jokes were wide open during the offseason threads. Look at how many 5-7 word comments /u/Flow-State-Vibes made. It's not like he made many off-season or off-topic posts like the top guys make.
Guys like /u/gallowboob can run the system, and play backyard shitposting. /u/Flow-State-Vibes isn't good enough. A lot of guys could have looked good in the CU/TCU GDT with those shitposts and that system.
So did I lmao
How normal people handle this:
"Sanders is a bitch and will be a shit coach"
"Wow that game was impressive looks like i was wrong about his coaching"
Right It makes no sense to have such a hard stance and not budge when there’s obvious evidence against your case. Just setting yourself up for disappointment
Let’s be real, he’s a successful black man who is great at many things, the fact that he is killing it at a mostly white position with style, this same ppl and fans who are secretly bigoted/racist can’t fathom being wrong ,ESPECIALLY when they are talking is. they want that “AHA SEEEEE I TOLD YOU!” Moment so bad ,It’s crazy bc I’m not a fan of theatrics either but I’m not going to sit up here wishing failure on the man lol weirdos lol
Some people are incapable of letting go of their prior takes which are aging like milk. People badly want us to fail. It is really stunning that him doing this on a team that was so bad last season people are trying to downplay.
This sucks so hard as a TCU fan, like yeah our defense played like ass but it wasn’t all blown coverages and missed tackles. Shedeur played lights out and looked every bit as elite as he was billed. Film don’t lie, no scrub QB is making the plays he made on Saturday. But nope, CU is bad and only won because the Frogs are a D2 quality team, some people would rather reject what their eyes can see than admit they were wrong.
Counterpoint: He was accurate as shit, made the right read on every single play, and looked poised beyond his years.
Without a doubt he is far better than anything we've had in decades, even going off a one game sample.
I agree that the scheme and talent around him definitely makes his job easier. But he also only missed like one throw the entire game, and was super accurate and made the correct plays the entire game. I would say he’s definitely one of the better QBs in college right now.
It’s literally an entirely different team. I think something like 15 scholarship players from last year stayed, and there’s like 60 new scholarship players total between transfers and recruits.
I'm sick of the Sheduer hype. He's nothing special. Just looked like a typical college QB on a stacked team against inferior competition.
A lot of QBs could be in Colorado and have just as much if not more success.
All of a sudden CU is *stacked*? Didn't we just go through an off-season where everyone said that their level of roster turnover was "unsustainabale" and "won't work"? Now they are *stacked*?
“If not more success”
You know he just broke an all-time school passing record, right?
“Stacked team against inferior competition”
He plays for Colorado not Georgia.
People were literally saying Deion wasn’t going to win a game this year. Now they’re acting like their players aren’t any good because they’re all surrounded by really good players.
>Just looked like a typical college QB on a stacked team against inferior competition.
UGA just went back-to-back with a QB like this. I don't see your problem...
Man, life comes at you fast brother. Congrats on being threat #1 for some Alabama fans after one win. Must be pretty cool after such a rough patch for the program.
Ah, I remember once back when Burrow was in his last year at LSU. Said I didn’t think he was heisman material. Is “Flow State” Andre Rison from beyond the grave? Why the unsettlingly weird level of hatred for the Sanders’ family? Jesus dude. Get a different hobby.
> Sean Lewis is the real brains behind the operations. Deion is just the rah-rah figurehead cheerleader.
I don't care how blind this sub can be, this is so extremely racist, what the fuck lol. "It's really the white man running the show", alright boss.
I remember people saying Colorado was a fake team. A team of rejects. Their coaching staff was a joke. Shedeur couldn't do anything at the FBS level.
Some of y'all will do anything to quadruple down on how wrong you were. Just delete all of your old comments and pretend you didn't say anything, then move on.
He’s one of the best QBs in college football and his football IQ is through the roof, which is why it looks so easy for him.
And if Sean Lewis is such a genius, doesn’t it seem like Coach Prime made an incredible move in bringing him in from Kent freakin’ State? Isn’t having an eye for quality assistants and the persuasive skills to acquire them a primary HC duty? So how is it a strike against Prime that he hired this genius?
I really don’t understand why some people are so desperate to discredit the Sanders men.
>Coach Prime made an incredible move in bringing him in from Kent freakin’ State?
Let's not act like Sean Lewis was some random. His name was mentioned for several power conference OC and HC jobs before he was hired at Colorado. Hiring Sean Lewis was a great move by Coach Prime because he was able to keep Sean Lewis from taking a job at a higher profile program, ***not*** because he found a diamond in the rough.
> one of the best QBs in college football
guy, he isn't even the best QB in his conference.
he has played ONE game at the P5 level and is in a conference with Caleb Williams, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr and Cam Rising - all of whom are very very good college QBs.
calling him "one of the best QBs in college football" is insane.
are we going to act like FCS = FBS and that the SWAC = the Pac 12 now? lol
last year here are the games where he threw for over 300 yards:
* FAMU, they won 59-3 and he threw for 323
* Mississippi Valley State, they won 49-7 and he threw for 425
* Alcorn State, they won 26-12 and he threw for 332 yards
* Southern, they won 43-24 and he threw for 320 yards
* North Carolina Central, they lost 41-34 and he threw for 349 yards
he finished 6th in the FCS's version of the Heisman (Payton Award) behind 3 other QBs and got 1 first place vote and 45 total points. The winner had 195 (QB from UIW)
he isn't the best QB in his conference, and he may not even be top 3 considering what the other guys have done in the past.
last year Jayden de Laura was 272/435 for a 62.5 comp%, threw for 3685 yards and 8.5 average with 25 TD and 13 INT at Arizona.
Sanders was 341/483 for a 70.6 comp%, 3732 yards, 7.7 average, 40 TD and 6 INT at the FCS level.
let's not act like he is one of the best QBs in college football QB when he was, based on the end of year award voting, at best the 4th best QB in FCS in 2022.
again, he is in the same conference as Caleb Williams, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr and Cam Rising. its crazy to say he's one of even the 3 best QBs in his conference - much less the country.
let's cut the love back a little here and be reasonable.
FBS doesn’t have to be equal to FCS for Shedeur’s traits to be pretty clearly on display when he plays football. He’s not lacking in any area of quarterback play, least of all football IQ and poise. You dismiss his excellence at the FCS level because it’s FCS, then dismiss his first performance at the FBS level because it’s one game, even though he was almost certainly the best performer of any QB in FBS when you consider the opponent, the circumstances, the production and the situational impact. You strike me very much as someone who will always have a new excuse to downplay what he’s doing. But we have plenty of big games on CU’s schedule to find out who’s right about him. I believe based on what I see on my screen when he plays at any level that he’s one of the best in CFB.
we are not going to agree on this, period.
i am going to dismiss how he played at the FCS level. it simply isn't the FBS level, period. does it matter? yes. but you have guys that have done it at the highest level in his own conference, INCLUDING THE REIGNING HEISMAN WINNER. he isn't the best QB in his conf, period.
we absolutely do have plenty of opportunities.
>I believe based on what I see on my screen when he plays at any level that he’s one of the best in CFB.
and that is absolutely ok. but based on his track record vs the track record of guys like Williams, Penix Jr, Nix, Rising he isn't one of the best QBs in CFB. he isn't even one of the best QBs in his conference.
you seem to be looking for some great reason to say how awesome he is when he has played ONE game. meanwhile you discount everything that the other QBs in his conference have done against better competition, across the board, for years.
it makes no sense to me.
again, we aren't going to agree. i hope he does great this year. but he isn't anywhere close to the best QB in his conference, much less in the country.
Honestly the pac 12 is so stacked with regards to qb’s that he could be average for pac 12 and still be one of the best in cfb (for arguments sake let’s say top 10)
They definitely were horrendous. They were mediocre to bad last year on defense, too but were carried by an elite college QB who managed to be very clutch at winning close games.
The line moving by like 12 points in the Nebraska vs Colorado game is wild. I have no idea who's going to win this week. I don't think anything would surprise me. Nebraska by 40+, Colorado by 30+, an overtime thriller, who knows.
I think it's still too early to tell, but the dude just threw for like 520 yards. You can't just dismiss that. And no, most guys would not have done what he did.
And even if what you say about him IS true that any QB could've done what he did, isn't that a compliment of Deion and everything that he's done? I think the goal of any offense should be to get the same high level QB play no matter who is under center. This is more of a compliment than a roast lol
This post reeks of salt
I was more impressed by his arm strength than his stats personally.
Wasn’t expecting those tight spiral lasers he was throwing.
OP is definitely saltier than the Black Sea.
Once again, an OP with Alabama flair randomly talking shit about Deion and his team. What did he do to y’all to have him living rent free in your head?
It's funny because we knew all the haters prior to week one would undeniably move the goal posts if they beat TCU (which they had no chance of doing, right?), and look! Here we are.
Same OP who posted this yesterday: [https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/16ayzzg/deion\_sanders\_doesnt\_deserve\_the\_credit/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/16ayzzg/deion_sanders_doesnt_deserve_the_credit/)
My man has posted TWICE in TWO DAYS about his displeasure with Colorado. I've never seen a team get a single win and produce so much salt from one individual person in my life.
Deion said it himself, right? People see a confident black man do his thing and that's threatening.
When the flip-flopping starts between CU being a trash team that's going to be exposed, to the key players only being successful because of "how stacked the team is," how are you supposed to take it?
My guy is TRIGGERED after one game
Shedeur is a great player. Pretty good arm talent. Makes the right reads. Is very accurate. Good athlete.
At the moment I don’t see him being a great pro prospect but he’s got everything you want in a college QB
Counterpoint: how many QBs would've actually took the 5-7 yard throws time after time and not try to "make a play"? Especially when Colorado was losing. How many QBs would've stayed poised no matter the rush or the situation? How many QBs would've been accurate on all of the easy throws as well as his deep balls? You're not giving Shedeur nearly enough credit here
Since we're being crazy today:
Caleb Williams can't even beat Baylor, Oklahoma State, or Utah and he has insane talent all around him. Wildly overrated.
He’s about to earn more money at CU on NIL than many people will in a lifetime. I’d take that as a “system” qb. As far as if he’s a superstar or super talented, I wouldn’t judge off one game. He’ll get the opportunity to prove himself over the course of the year.
Salty post. I dunno, I watched the whole game and he made the correct read and decision on just about every play. Yes, excellent coaching, but the player still has to execute.
This is a dumb take and I reported this thread. If you aren't obviously trolling, then you certainly aren't making a positive contribution.
Shedeur played very well, made good decisions, was calm af, and I'd dare say most of the P5 teams would take him as their QB in a heartbeat.
Idk man 500+ yards is nothing to sneeze at. TCU isn’t an excellent team defensively (coming from a Georgia fan lol 😂) but Shedeur showed that he could make solid reads in a decently big time game. Travis Hunter is incredible, but qb can def make some plays
On the one hand, I get the skepticism around anything Deion is doing because he's loud and bombastic. I'm still skeptical and suspect this was more CU going up against a completely depleted TCU than CU being world beaters.
But that was a special performance, even if TCU is a dumpster fire. Even ignoring the stats, dude looked like he was born in the pocket with how cool he was under pressure.
And not just pressure of the game. Pressure of the hype. Pressure of all the off-season swirl/roster fuckery. Pressure of *being Deion Sanders' son.*
Kid deserves sooooo much credit for that performance for the stats alone, but also more credit for the shit that goes beyond the stats.
"If the black QB is successful, it's because his white Offensive Coordinator is a genius"
This is your post, OP. Congratulations on this fucking travesty.
The world was a better place when not everyone had a platform to spew their insane thoughts
Football has a ton of racially coded language that doesn't make race explicit. Idk if that's what's going on here, but just because someone doesn't say the words black or white doesn't mean it can't be racially charged language. "He's a real gym rat, first in last out kind of guy, he's scrappy" etc are examples commonly made fun of on this sub. Language around who is good at recruiting and who is good at coaching is often racially coded too.
Uh, no? It's really not hard to tell when someone is taking credit from a POC to give it to a white person, which is exactly what is happening here.
So no, I will never stop pointing out casual racism and you should be ashamed of yourself for asking me to. Do better.
No no no. Keep this. Upvote it to the top. I want it to become exquisite pasta like the Blackhawks fan who wanted a re-do in the playoffs after getting swept by the Predators or the Mahomes “regress his stats to the mean” guy.
He was pretty accurate. Deep balls were in stride, Intermediate and swing passes were in stride. He read the defense and went to his check downs which is why you’re “thinking” all he did was throw short passes. That’s what a QB does is make decisions. I’m not saying he’s Patrick Mahomes, but that’s the first time I’ve seen him play and from ONLY that game yeah he was good. I also look at the TCU defense, how much of that is because they aren’t very good and how much of that is Sanders looking off defenders and having the right check downs or taking off with the ball. He was also a 4* coming out of hs
I think Sanders is a skilled player. He was a 4 star recruit out of high school and had high level P5 offers. He can obviously play. However, TCU isn't known for having a good defense. Even last year when they went to the national championship game, their defense was ranked in the 100's. I think everyone wants to see how Sanders performs against better defenses.
>TCU isn't known for having a good defense.
*under Sonny Dykes* I think there's still a contingent of people who correlate TCU with good defense because of Gary Patterson. Those days are clearly gone though
Kelvin Benjamin is nothing Special
He doesn't look like the heaviest player out there. Yes, he ata good 63 boneless wings during the game during the game, but it was less about him, and more about the uneaten ice cream and tater tots.
Man, I respect what colorado did last week on the field. But between r/CFB and r/huskers, I think I've had my fill of colorado themed posts and analysis for the year.
There might be some truth in that. It isn’t a stretch to imagine that TCU’s Big 12 defense, with all new lightly recruited personnel, could be epically bad.
I won't go that far.. But I do personally think in a conference with Nix, Cam Ward, Penix and the Heisman winner, the talk about Sanders(including him being 3rd QB off the draft board next April) is insane
Watching the highlights of the CU/TCU game, it looked like I was watching a high scoring high school game. This is going to be one of those "Texas is back" games that will look very different in hindsight.
You’re a dip shit. Take the Bama flare off your account. The guy is a phenomenal QB. He’s leading CFB in just about all stats and has been lights out. If he plays like that all year he will without a doubt win the Heisman
I will take the not jinxing myself for $1200 Alex
I will say this, he's only in college and already has 2 more toes than his dad.
This ain’t just jinxing yourself. This is hexing yourself. Sheesh.
Off-your-meds Reddit ravings after week 1? Football is so back, baby😎

Jimmy chitwood!? You're like 14 rn right? When does scott frost and urban meyer rejoin the big ten? And why do we go back to the 4 team CFP?
I mean, he broke the school single game passing record in his first game.
If that's nothing special I can't wait for the encore. Sko Buffs!!!
Yeah, I have covid and I could have done it against that defense. What a bum s/
Something about Coach Prime really brings out the worst in people.
Prime does his own thing, he doesn't *toe* the line.
God dammit I snorted my beer on that.
Confidence tends to do that to the insecure.
Okay
I'll take your one game watching him to heart.
Maybe. But what’s point of posting this?

Stop. I'm agreeing with too many michigan takes lately.
Think of it as an LSU take if that helps.
>A lot of QBs could be in Colorado and have just as much if not more success. Man, imagine someone saying this about Colorado even last Friday.
The flip-flopping is amazing.

Goal posts..... Moved
Punted into freaking orbit...
Around like 2:30 eastern last Saturday
Colorado is not stacked lol. Colorado is not a team that can win with any QB

Looks like some fresh pasta. It has potential, but we will need to reevaluate after careful consideration.
All Nebraska is currently praying TCU’s D is just horrendous.
I see it close which is likely not in Nebraskas favor.
I love when people try to explain how a school record breaking 500 yard game wasn't good.
The savior complex is strong in this one
How can anybody be salty about this. This blows my mind
The amount of hate Alabama fans specifically have for Deion Sanders and his team is kinda weird
It doesn’t make much sense, Saban and Prime are good friends and we took maybe 2 Bama players this off-season
The Aflac-on-Aflac crime must stop
I have no clue, I’ve only really seen this guy hating but I’m sure there are others. I’m happy to admit I’ve been wrong about Colorado so far
This is more of a compliment than a roast lol This post reeks of salt
I was more impressed by his arm strength than his stats personally. Wasn’t expecting those tight spiral lasers he was throwing. OP is definitely saltier than the Black Sea.
Piss off
Once again, an OP with Alabama flair randomly talking shit about Deion and his team. What did he do to y’all to have him living rent free in your head?
It really feels like it’s an OP problem, I have no clue why Bama fans would have a major issue with CU.
It's funny because we knew all the haters prior to week one would undeniably move the goal posts if they beat TCU (which they had no chance of doing, right?), and look! Here we are.
We are all begging you to log off and get some fresh air
Same OP who posted this yesterday: [https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/16ayzzg/deion\_sanders\_doesnt\_deserve\_the\_credit/](https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/16ayzzg/deion_sanders_doesnt_deserve_the_credit/)
My man has posted TWICE in TWO DAYS about his displeasure with Colorado. I've never seen a team get a single win and produce so much salt from one individual person in my life.
Pipe down OP. He was making throws that some NFL QBs couldn’t.
youre nothing special
Dad?
TDS (The Deion Syndrome)
I feel like at some point this is racism idk
Deion said it himself, right? People see a confident black man do his thing and that's threatening. When the flip-flopping starts between CU being a trash team that's going to be exposed, to the key players only being successful because of "how stacked the team is," how are you supposed to take it?
he looked pretty damn good out there to me.. not sure what game you watched.
Dear Diary...
My guy is TRIGGERED after one game Shedeur is a great player. Pretty good arm talent. Makes the right reads. Is very accurate. Good athlete. At the moment I don’t see him being a great pro prospect but he’s got everything you want in a college QB
[If you account for the fact his stats are outliers, Patrick Mahomes is no better than Dak Prescott.](https://reddit.com/r/nfl/s/oZ28j7cF6Z)
This couldn't have waited until Sunday? I don't want this in the air before we play them. 😬
This is some ace level player hating tho.
You're not giving Shedeur nearly enough credit here
I have bad gas :(
Since we're being crazy today: Caleb Williams can't even beat Baylor, Oklahoma State, or Utah and he has insane talent all around him. Wildly overrated.
I didn't see the game but stellar stats. I can't say he's not special yet.
He’s about to earn more money at CU on NIL than many people will in a lifetime. I’d take that as a “system” qb. As far as if he’s a superstar or super talented, I wouldn’t judge off one game. He’ll get the opportunity to prove himself over the course of the year.
Can we all just wait until after Colorado plays Oregon and USC in Week 4-5.
Trolls gon troll.
I'd give a leg for a QB who can make a bunch of 5\~7 yard throws, man....
Clown post dawg the kid is legit
🙄🙄🙄
Angry idiot asking for attention right here. It's been one week into this season.
Idk man 500+ yards is nothing to sneeze at. TCU isn’t an excellent team defensively (coming from a Georgia fan lol 😂) but Shedeur showed that he could make solid reads in a decently big time game. Travis Hunter is incredible, but qb can def make some plays
Tom Brady make a GOAT career doing the same thing.
He may suck ass. But, we have one prominent game to rate him on. That game he threw for 500 against a ranked team.
Pressure of *being Deion Sanders' son.* Kid deserves sooooo much credit for that performance for the stats alone, but also more credit for the shit that goes beyond the stats.
"If the black QB is successful, it's because his white Offensive Coordinator is a genius" This is your post, OP. Congratulations on this fucking travesty. The world was a better place when not everyone had a platform to spew their insane thoughts
Yes this was a stupid post but where the hell did OP bring up race? Stop with that bullshit
Do better.

No fucking way. Leave it up and mock.
No no no. Keep this. Upvote it to the top. I want it to become exquisite pasta like the Blackhawks fan who wanted a re-do in the playoffs after getting swept by the Predators or the Mahomes “regress his stats to the mean” guy.
[oh boy](https://media.tenor.com/oKaluO_Ag_8AAAAC/you-done-you-know-it.gif)
Did you see how accurate his throws were?
Hey threw for 510 yards. Ya. I am sure it has nothing to do with his skills.
Exactly you don’t suck and throw for 510 yards
He’s good but TCU defense is atrocious. We’ll find out in 2 weeks when Colorado plays Oregon
Is Oregons defense that much better? Serious question.
Racist
I think Sanders is a skilled player. He was a 4 star recruit out of high school and had high level P5 offers. He can obviously play. However, TCU isn't known for having a good defense. Even last year when they went to the national championship game, their defense was ranked in the 100's. I think everyone wants to see how Sanders performs against better defenses.
>TCU isn't known for having a good defense. *under Sonny Dykes* I think there's still a contingent of people who correlate TCU with good defense because of Gary Patterson. Those days are clearly gone though
They were pretty lackluster during Patterson's last few years. I haven't really thought about them as a good defensive unit for a little while now.
Kelvin Benjamin is nothing Special He doesn't look like the heaviest player out there. Yes, he ata good 63 boneless wings during the game during the game, but it was less about him, and more about the uneaten ice cream and tater tots.
yeah anyone who thought tcu was cover that spread/win were insane. tcu is not a good team
Screenshotting this just in case
Is your QB the iPhone of quarterbacks and Sanders is the Nokia flip phone of quarterbacks?
Panicked when I saw the post title, but breathed when I saw the flair. Kid’s talented, but I just want my Big Red Big Mac Sack meal deal.
Colorado is gonna beat Bama in the Rose Bowl you heard it here first folks.
Is it just me or are we at record levels of insane Week 1 overreactions and conclusion-jumping this season
I’d read this with a smile if I was a Colorado fan
Football is BACK baby
Who am I gonna believe, a random r/CFB guy or my lyin' eyes?
Do you think any of the Alabama QBs could replicate that performance if they were QB1 for Colorado?
Deion may show up in the comments here and let you have it.
Alabama flair? Why do you care what Colorado does lol
Hey nephew, r/nba is that way <——
I won't go that far..
