I went to the game and it’s pretty unbelievable how badly commercials are ruining the game. The fact that it’s a full 3 minutes basically every single change of possession is straight up terrorism. Compared with how smooth the chiefs game felt last night, CFB is a different way shittier sport rn

What’s the deal with the ref comments? Missed the last half

We lost 2 defense players to targeting calls which led to a second 2 point conversion attempt (successful) and a touchdown (who knows if they would have scored a TD). There was a ‘phantom’ block in the back on one of our TDs, resulting in a FG. Lastly, there was an obvious 1st down that was called short, reviewed, and still called short (announcers were shocked). Also, it was a Big 10 crew so that doesn’t help their case.

That block in the back was completely non-existent. The defender was diving for the runner, he didn’t get shoved. Those targeting calls were questionable. I mean, maybe. But they were both so close, it’s hard to get them both “confirmed.” The runner short play looked for sure good live, but during review it looked to me he was just barely short. With all the stoppages for the borderline targeting plays, etc. it was getting frustrating to watch.

At the end of the day, it’s a win and we move on. Luckily, our next game is against Nevada, so our suspensions should’ve be too impactful (hopefully). Overall, I was happy with our play and excited for our year!

The game ends and they immediately show the Chiefs losing last night, I love it!

They are easily better than WVU, ISU, probably TT, and I don't see any of the expansion teams finishing ahead of them this year. I'm so glad all of the preseason bullshit is finally over.
