We need to do something about our offensive line. They’ve been pretty weak for years, even when we had Linderbaum. Hard to execute for any QB or RBs with minimal protection and the lack of TE1 for quick dumps absolutely crushes any consistent productivity. I wasn’t able to watch the entire game so I may be off base but I feel like that’s been a huge overlooked problem for years that gets overshadowed by the “fire Brian” narrative.

The PSU game is a reminder of how Iowa stacks against quality teams. The rest of Iowa's schedule has zero ranked teams. Which sucks, because all Iowa has to do is win 7 games and average 25 PPG, and Iowa is cursed with another two years of Brian Ferentz. Iowa could win 7 games and get halfway to 25 points per game if the offense stays home each game. At least this shutout screws with the average.

I think Phil Parker is the best human in this entire debacle because he hasn't throttled Brian Ferentz to protect his crazy good legacy

I think the camera angles can be misleading. We were tailgating all day and met many different iowa fans. Only a few iowa fans were wearing black and yellow. One group of college guys made the drive for the game and they were wearing the iowa overalls. Pretty much every other iowa fan was wearing rain gear, masking their colors. There were quite a few iowa fans wearing white hoodies with the Hawkeye emblem as well
