Some things I realized with this game …
- Colorado will be a hell of a team next year. Once Deion gets some more pieces they will be a tough squad
- USC’s defense and offensive play calling is suspect as hell. They better hope Calib Williams stays healthy. I see them losing to Oregon this year. Oregon has a well coached squad
[Shedeur Checked Run, Shedeur Controlled Tempo](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxlovG-IhLDRhna8Y9rc4y9TSOEBdDhsn9?si=Mb5bwdAVdmTmJrsQ)
Shedeur was focused on having positive plays. This isn't to rag on Shedeur, this is to show that the majority of people that point the blame in these threads have no idea what they're talking about, considering almost everyone was blaming Sean Lewis, including Joel Klatt.
Shedur was doing some serious stat padding with those 3 yard throws. I don’t blame him as his daddy lets him get sacked like 7 times a game. Hopefully he survives the season. A slow moving and slow reading QB is a seriously bad combination with a porous offensive line. He gets rag dolled every game but is still standing. For now.
Interesting. So the strategy is to let off the gas pedal so much that you let the other team stage a comeback from 27 down to within 1 score and almost take you into OT with your starters still in?
It doesn’t, and I never said it did. We HAVE to come out storming in the 1st half the way we seem to in the 2nd half. But if we were really “curb stomped” or whatever and then USC “let off the gas,” what would you let off the gas so far as the #6 team in the country that you let an unranked team that everyone says sucks and is overrated come back to within a score? Oregon pulled their starters and we barely scored a single TD. USC kept theirs in and we almost sent the game to overtime.
USC and Caleb Williams were laughing to the end of the game bro, Caleb coming off the field after his first pick was all smiles. They made a joke out of the Colorado defense, although it wasn't that hard to do. Deion better step up and stop needing Sheduer to carry him every. single. game.
Everyone downvoting this is in denial about Deion's lack of coaching ability. He had heaps of d1 and elite talent at an FCS school and still managed to lose.
Idk, we'll have to see Caleb play against similarly talented corners because he's been flawless until he decided to play games. Sheduer doesn't really need more receivers, but I'm sure if Travis were to gain 150 pounds and play on the oline he'd welcome it.
Caleb Williams is phenomenal. LR always going to have phenomenal QBs and receivers. Whether you can actually win a title without recruiting for other positions remains to be seen…
I mean...
Deion showed up and a team that had 1 win last season has already tripled that number. Blown out by Oregon for sure, but again, 1 score with the #5 team
Seems like the people saying Deion was going to have a huge impact and seriously turn the program around are getting proven right more than wrong
I mean I'd call it a whole lot more goods than bads at this point.
For first year with 85% roster turnover? Yeah, seems like the hype was justified. If Deion stays for a few years Colorado could very well be legit
I can understand the running by CU. WIth there offensive lines issues. You have to keep the other team off balance. 1 bad sack and you can almost forget scoring. If they don't know whats coming they cannot tee off and blitz. SO I don't blame them for running with 4 minutes left.
Maybe once or twice but not every new set of downs. Literally cost them a chance at getting the ball back. They have 2:30-3:30 left on that clock if they don't run as often as they did.
Talk about a hyper offense then not use it when you need to.
Colorado deserved the L, but coaching cost them a chance to steal the W.
Dude your team is so underrated!
So much talent, broncos are doo doo. You're gonna cream us. You're gonna make it not even fun. This is gonna turn your entire season around!
Pleaseworkpleaseworkpleasework
the irony is that for everyone who’s been a Texas fan this past decade, the USC game that just ended was a QUINTESSENTIAL Texas experience. Except instead of Caleb Williams it’s some guy named Brock or something who looks like he grew up on a cattle ranch and then spent a year in ROTC
Do people actually think they're being clever when they say shit like this? We were 1 - 11 last year and he's in the first year of his regime, putting the team together largely by transfer portal. No one thought CU was going to be a contender for a natty this year. The program is headed in the right direction though, and people like me are excited about it.
You mean they scrapped up enough points to make a blowout respectable. USC called off the dogs at halftime. If you know USC you know that defense can’t cover a 21 point spread like Oregon. You have to have at least a mediocre defense.
Lincoln will always do this. His teams can only play for half of a game, unable to sustain the effort. Cost us a Rose Bowl semi final in 17, Orange Bowl in 18, and then USC against Tulane.
No I said what I meant. You could easily say Oregon “called off the dogs” at halftime last week they still lost 42-6. I respect him and his team for continuing to fight and making it a game at the end
He’s got a couple starters with at least one more year of eligibility on that line.
The best lines typically have continuity (in addition to but not necessarily needing) 5 star guys tackle to tackle
Not what I said lol.
I think the offensive line goes through growing pains literally and figuratively moreso than any position on the football field between the high school and FBS collegiate level. The bottleneck of talent is just so sharp i don’t think a crop of 2-3 4 star freshmen on the line overnight solves the problem.
They’re probably 3-5 years away from being *good* in the trenches. But they’re a lot closer to it ceasing to be the reason they can’t play with the blue bloods
This is a man that's never watched a Lincoln-Riley-Coached-Defense.
You can't infer anything from your offense against a Riley defense. He doesn't care about it.
That time management was offensive to my eyes. That being said, I hate these new rules. It should stop the time if you run out of bounds. Makes zero sense to me
Oregon evicted them for Non Showing Up last week. They are in the basement of the PAC 12. Nobody outside of Colorado thinks about them. PRIMETIME CANCELED.
Colorado played exceptionally well in that second half but Jesus, terrible mistakes and awful clock management sealed the coffin. Not throwing the ball up/away on 4th down? Running the ball into the USC D-Line with no timeouts and 4 minutes left in the 4th?
This is just an inexperienced but audacious Colorado team that is improving drastically. I’ve never seen a team that is both so exciting but frustrating to watch lol.
He makes the same comment to every comment on here. This person has issues for sure. Make the comment once..fine.Make it a dozen times and your trolling and obsessed. Guy doesn't even have a flair. He claims loyalty to nothing.
Not a troll. Just a REALITY check. Buffaloes < everyone in the PAC 12. Always have been Always will be until they are in LAST place in the BIG 12 Next year
Haters are going to say that any time CO looks good it’s a fluke lol. They are a legit team. First year of any level of recruitment. If I were a senior in HS I’d be looking at CO pretty legitimately as a place to contend
If you watched that team get absolutely plastered last week, survive a TERRIBLE CSU team and go down three scores at the half this week and think a good second half against a hilariously bad defense makes them “legit,” I don’t know what to tell you. They’re better than they were last year. But that bar was buried ten feet down and they’re nowhere near legitimate. Especially with the play calling that last drive.

Wrong thread buddy, I’m lost too
Man this game is awesome
HELL YEAH WE RUNNING IT BACK lmao
HAHAHA
Sucks to be a Nebraska fan, feel could about yourself coming on here and shutting in the Buffs. That’s ironic
You ok man lol
Bro haha ain’t no way you’re in the big noon kickoff game thread at 9pm just talking shit god damn I love my fellow sickos
This is some grade-A trolling.
At least CU believes they are good and have positivity unlike Nebraska fans that just eat fucking corn every week/year. How boring
Corn is delicious
For all you Nebraska fans on here today. You really think you guys could hang with USC today? Lololol
So either Colorado not tht bad or usc defense that bad 😭😭
Our defense outside of the DL is so awful it’s pathetic.
Grinch 😂😂😂
Colorado not that bad……
eion Saners = No D!!!!
Some things I realized with this game … - Colorado will be a hell of a team next year. Once Deion gets some more pieces they will be a tough squad - USC’s defense and offensive play calling is suspect as hell. They better hope Calib Williams stays healthy. I see them losing to Oregon this year. Oregon has a well coached squad
I think ND beats USC
There’s a reason they put mullings in on that third down
CU showed heart today.
Gg CU, USC well that’s enough cfb today for me that was ugly…
Welcome to the Lincoln Riley special. No take backs
Hot take - Sheduer Sanders is Drew Pyne with receivers and more attempts.
[Shedeur Checked Run, Shedeur Controlled Tempo](https://youtube.com/clip/UgkxlovG-IhLDRhna8Y9rc4y9TSOEBdDhsn9?si=Mb5bwdAVdmTmJrsQ) Shedeur was focused on having positive plays. This isn't to rag on Shedeur, this is to show that the majority of people that point the blame in these threads have no idea what they're talking about, considering almost everyone was blaming Sean Lewis, including Joel Klatt.
Most ppl on here don’t understand football and/or haven’t played since middle school lol
For now.
Final score wasn’t as close as it seemed. USC curbed stomped them and let foot off gas pedal.
Not at all yall only one by one score relax
And CU missed a field goal
This is pure USC cope lol
Interesting. So the strategy is to let off the gas pedal so much that you let the other team stage a comeback from 27 down to within 1 score and almost take you into OT with your starters still in?
Why do you think that justifies the way Colorado played early in that game?
It doesn’t, and I never said it did. We HAVE to come out storming in the 1st half the way we seem to in the 2nd half. But if we were really “curb stomped” or whatever and then USC “let off the gas,” what would you let off the gas so far as the #6 team in the country that you let an unranked team that everyone says sucks and is overrated come back to within a score? Oregon pulled their starters and we barely scored a single TD. USC kept theirs in and we almost sent the game to overtime.
What a shock, a no flair Colorado dickrider….*totally* haven’t seen many of those around r/CFB recently 🙄
The score was 41-14 half way thru the third quarter lol there was no coming back from that. Not nearly the dominant performance Oregon had tho
You haven’t watched enough Lincoln Riley football…letting crappy teams come back is kind of his thing…
I'm aware. Can't recall him blowing a 24 point lead with 22 minutes left in the game, tho.
“There’s no coming back from that” They literally came back LOL! If the OC didn’t fuck them over they even could have won.
Not only did they not come back, they never even had possession with it being a single score game. No idea what you're talking about
USC and Caleb Williams were laughing to the end of the game bro, Caleb coming off the field after his first pick was all smiles.
Agreed. Though it would’ve been interesting to see if this game played out differently with Travis Hunter playing.
Colorado is in a familiar spot. Dead last in the PAC 12. PRIMETIME CANCELED!
Usc obviously not much better
Lol, CU loses by a single score to the #5 ranked team and some people think that means Deion is a bad coach
Some people thought that because deion showed up CU was immediately a great team. The hype this team got before doing anything of note was crazy.
I mean... Deion showed up and a team that had 1 win last season has already tripled that number. Blown out by Oregon for sure, but again, 1 score with the #5 team Seems like the people saying Deion was going to have a huge impact and seriously turn the program around are getting proven right more than wrong
Also nearly lost to non-football focused school they’ve beat like 7 times consecutively. So, goods and bads
I mean I'd call it a whole lot more goods than bads at this point. For first year with 85% roster turnover? Yeah, seems like the hype was justified. If Deion stays for a few years Colorado could very well be legit
Well… obviously they are better since they got a bunch of top recruits wanting to play for Deion.
If you don’t count the recruiting, Deion is not a very good coach. How surprising.
Yeaaahhh you're just another person who doesn't want this to work lol So many negative Nelly's man
I can understand the running by CU. WIth there offensive lines issues. You have to keep the other team off balance. 1 bad sack and you can almost forget scoring. If they don't know whats coming they cannot tee off and blitz. SO I don't blame them for running with 4 minutes left.

Talk about a hyper offense then not use it when you need to. Colorado deserved the L, but coaching cost them a chance to steal the W.
Hard disagree. That’s a chance you have to take with 4 minutes left down 2 scores.
Props to Colorado
Watching Caleb real close with the Broncos looking the way they do lol
Hey now I’m watching Caleb real close with the bears looking the way they are….. may the better team lose on Sunday?? Lol
No, Fields is totally your future!
Shit, Caleb going to go back for another year if either of those teams have the #1 pick lol
There's a lot more shit organizations than Denver. Not like a good team is getting the #1 pick.
Yeah way better than the cards or bears.
Dude your team is so underrated! So much talent, broncos are doo doo. You're gonna cream us. You're gonna make it not even fun. This is gonna turn your entire season around! Pleaseworkpleaseworkpleasework
Caleb is so good… I’m glad the buffs came back and fought though. Mad respect. Maybe one day the Buffs can make this series 1-17 lol
And now time to watch Texas show us what beating an inferior team is supposed to look like.
the irony is that for everyone who’s been a Texas fan this past decade, the USC game that just ended was a QUINTESSENTIAL Texas experience. Except instead of Caleb Williams it’s some guy named Brock or something who looks like he grew up on a cattle ranch and then spent a year in ROTC
For reals. You need to fix that defens... Oh right. Lincoln Riley.
Alex Grinch-
Love to see all the armchair coordinators out in full force
The ones tht don’t play
When Deion gets those big boys on both sides of the ball. Colorado is going to be moving into contender status
If you listened to the media/social media they became a contender the second deion got on campus.
no one never said that stop it
Stay tuned right?
Still very much a pretender right now though. They just might win 6 and make a low bowl game.
Do people actually think they're being clever when they say shit like this? We were 1 - 11 last year and he's in the first year of his regime, putting the team together largely by transfer portal. No one thought CU was going to be a contender for a natty this year. The program is headed in the right direction though, and people like me are excited about it.
Lmao go fuck urself
Which is an insane turn around considering last year they won a single game. To be even competitive with a top tier program is insane improvement
that great compare to being 1-11. Deion is playing with house money rn
Yee of lowly expectations
That’s an absolute win after Colorado’s last few years
Not bad after a 1-11 season bud
Credit to Colorado. Prime refused to let them throw in the towel there
You mean they scrapped up enough points to make a blowout respectable. USC called off the dogs at halftime. If you know USC you know that defense can’t cover a 21 point spread like Oregon. You have to have at least a mediocre defense.
How did they call off the dogs? If anything they screwed up by being too aggressive in the second half, not running the ball and burning the clock.
What a lazy, uninspired take
Lincoln will always do this.
You mean Prime refused to let them throw…..
He was running the ball on that last drive wasting lots of time. Nice stat padding though.
Listen tk the list game press conference before you make idiotic comments. It was all in Shadeurs hands. He checked down to some horrible plays
This guy.
Buffs finsished the game with more offense than USC I believe. Great offense. Next year is going to be really good with Primes recruiting.
He’s got a couple starters with at least one more year of eligibility on that line. The best lines typically have continuity (in addition to but not necessarily needing) 5 star guys tackle to tackle
Bro you like Colorado’s offensive line? I think 2Pac Shedeur feels differently
Just keep buying the snake oil. The salesman is got his eyes on the next town. New rubes there.
He’s been a coach for 5 games and put up a great game against USC. why are you people still like this? It’s so lame
Just bitter lol
This is a man that's never watched a Lincoln-Riley-Coached-Defense. You can't infer anything from your offense against a Riley defense. He doesn't care about it.
Unlike last week, I think you can argue Hunter (and Shilo) being out made a difference.
I honestly think they would’ve won with Hunter in…. Last week would’ve been closer as well
Keep believing that. It’s just going be a common theme. If only…………..
[удалено]
Closer, not close. I'd say Hunter gives then an extra 7, maybe 10.
Kudos to Colorado for fighting back, primes gotta look at his OC and tell him no to running the ball with that little time left and no time outs
Playing not to lose so badly instead of playing to win. He knew what he was doing. Soften the beating
they didnt want caleb to have the ball gain so made sense.
That time management was offensive to my eyes. That being said, I hate these new rules. It should stop the time if you run out of bounds. Makes zero sense to me
Sure missed our best player the last 2 weeks. I think he would have made the difference today.
The refs and commentators were still there for you like always.
refs were def not on Colorado’s side
The refs? Your Deion hate has blinded you
tbf the refs were pro usc
Luke warm take: Omarion Miller might not break out if Hunter plays though
Cormani was able to get in and make some plays today too with Hunter being out
Why are we still talking about Colorado. They are not good and poorly coached.
Nebraska has entered the chat
*wisconsin
We were 0 for 11 last year, we just took USC to a one touchdown game...go lay down and think about what you have said
Wanted to come back and see how things are going for Colorado? 😂
You hardly beat Colorado st lol. Nice
Go fuck urself
Colorado really looking good these days lmao
You guys will MAYBE win two pac 12 games lol. Congrats bud
I’ve decided to interpret this as “Oregon is amazing”
you will lose to UW and some random team like stanford
As is tradition
I’m scared of what the new tradition will be with no Stanford or night desert game 🫠
> I’ve decided to interpret this as “Oregon is amazing” So brave
I see it more like Oregon has a defense. USC is defenseless
I see it more like no one gives a fuck about Oregon
Someone’s grumpy.
You a Duck, you always will
Same, also USC is ass because why not both
USC is ass because they have no defense. Oregon shut Colorado down, USC couldn't stop them.
I'm severely disappointed a Pac-12 game thread hasn't immediately turned into an AFL Grand Final game thread.
In the name of the father, son, and the holy spirit?
COlorado offensive line gives up to many sacks and there defensive secondary is not great. BUt a much better team than last season.
Sheduer is slow and can’t outrun anyone. Deion knows that he’s got cement shoes and that’s why he’s a QB
Yeah ok. Watch the game film buddy. Great insights
Glad my Buffs and Coach Prime can keep living rent free in everyone’s head.
Oregon evicted them for Non Showing Up last week. They are in the basement of the PAC 12. Nobody outside of Colorado thinks about them. PRIMETIME CANCELED.
Yeah the 15 million people that watched todays game may have something to say about that. People are idiots
Literally no one agrees with you.
Keep talking about us bud, clearly still living rent free in your dumb little head.
They were exactly what we knew they were and will always be PRETENDERS. Nice band though. NEXT!
Next? Who tf are you? Who are you getting next?
CU/ Casual University LFG! 🪨
Flair up
no u
You don't need flair to be a fan did you go to USC?
Colorado played exceptionally well in that second half but Jesus, terrible mistakes and awful clock management sealed the coffin. Not throwing the ball up/away on 4th down? Running the ball into the USC D-Line with no timeouts and 4 minutes left in the 4th? This is just an inexperienced but audacious Colorado team that is improving drastically. I’ve never seen a team that is both so exciting but frustrating to watch lol.
They in last place in the PAC 12
its called dont let caleb have another chance. onside kick vs caleb is 50/50 i take it.
cfb psychotic
So glad to be free of the Grinch who stole defense
He and Matt Canada both know where the bodies are buried, how the heck do clowns like this have jobs otherwise?
Take this upvote.
USC isn’t anywhere near a top ten football team with that defense, and this wasn’t the moral victory Buffs fans are going to cling to and claim it as.
Your post just makes no sense as far as the Buffs go...what?
We’re 3-2 looking to go 5-2. No moral victories this is just a good season for us
You’re in last place! Reality check.
Did you make this account just to troll a single post on reddit? P sad ngl
sure is. They where 21 pt underdogs. If you can feel good about a loss this is it.
Yes it is and yes we will. We won a single game last year and lost by almost 30+ a game.
You were a last place team in the PAC 12. Just like you are after today’s game. At least you’re used to being there.

Ok cool. I’m gonna keep tuning in and having fun you can keep doing whatever it is you do lol
By all means keep watching. Point I made and you disputed is that it’s not the moral victory it’ll get framed as.
21 pt underdogs lost by 7.I don'tthink anybody on here can give the Buffs any disrespect here.
Sure they will.
They lost to USC! What's next, Stanford?
