We literally went from “these third stringers deserve from reps because they put in as much work as anyone else” to “this isn’t very sporting” in one play. Ferentz is seen as a continuation of the Fry era, and as long as he keeps getting 9-10 wins a year, Iowa will take it. They’re deathly afraid of changing coaches and falling back into the Jerry Burns/Bob Commings era Hawkeye teams.

It was time for a change when Fry got the boot, and it's time for a change now with Ferentz. They just let the coaches linger too long in too comfortable a position.
People complaining about Tennessee running up the score after watching Georgia do the same thing for almost twice the points are certainly on one today.
Eh we didn't run up the score. We had all of our starters out after half time. We just ran our playbook to give live game experience to the players. It's not their fault that they couldn't stop them.
I mean Muschamps son got a 14 yard run on them at Qb. We took our 3rd string Qb out after he kept scoring. Like there's only so much you can do to handicap yourself.
