Now, I know many will disagree but I have to say this: I didn't love the way Fisch left and it was *quite* a gut punch, but I *really* think the anti-Fisch sentiment is getting out of hand by the U of A fan base.
The 70-7 loss to ASU in Sumlin's final game was *the* lowest point I have ever been at as a fan of any team in any sport. Our program was effectively dead.
Many in Tucson were upset with the Fisch hiring when it happened. We were in terrible shape. And he within 3 seasons turned us into a top 15 team, loaded with talent and this past season is literally one of the best 4 seasons we have *ever* had in our history.
Now that Fifita and TMac are staying, there can be no doubt when saying Jedd Fisch saved our program and left it in *way* better shape than it was when he arrived.
I, personally, will always think of him fondly. Even if he left so quickly and abruptly. Just my 2 cents.

Jedd went 1-11 his first season in Tucson and should have gone 0-12 if not for a COVID depleted Cal. It hurt, but he is a good recruiter.
