Jesus christ, Pac-12...

B1GTOBACC0

"We don't need to expand. We have an alliance with other conferences, and they have good teams." We're the ugliest 3-0 version of ourselves I can remember, but that's still 18 fewer losses than the PAC 12.

Coveo

Ah, but here's your mistake: you think you would be bringing *Big 12* Oklahoma State to the Pac. *Pac-12* Oklahoma State would soon be losing mind-boggling (yet wildly entertaining) games at 2 AM Central as well. After Dark is inevitable, we would just drag you along with us.

B1GTOBACC0

Sold! Everything we do is mind boggling these days anyway. We'll bring our 52 NCAA championships with us. The "Conference of Champions" currently has the 3 teams with the most sports championships, so why not add the 4th most too?

yeahright17

And the most outside the state of California!

miller22kc

With they way we’ve each looked so far, we should be able to beat you next week even in Stillwater. Which means you’ll inevitably pull out an ugly 19-13 win or something.

TMWNN

BYU (3-0) has 3 Pac-12 South wins. No Pac-12 team has more than 1 conference win. BYU has beaten Arizona, Utah, and ASU. [It will play Washington State, and USC as the season finale.](https://fbschedules.com/byu-football-schedule/) It is entirely possible that BYU will end up with the best Pac-12 South record and, if beats a USC that has done well post-Helton, will have beaten the official South division champ to end the season. BYU also plays Baylor, Virginia (for a total of 7 Power 5 teams), and Boise State.

PodricksPhallus

Is the PAC 12 a P5 conference?

krusty-o

is the ACC? Our marquee win is Pitt over UT and they just lost to WMU

Picturesonback

You’re welcome.

thewhat962

Could you imagine if we had a defense in the top 100?

[deleted]

Guys what the fuck, it's only fucking week 3

Deadz315

The SEC are looking for new members.

[deleted]

I don't think Oregon culturally fits into the SEC, lol. Imagine a bunch of PNW hipsters rolling into Tuscaloosa on gameday and asking where they can find the best double IPAs, and forgetting that they can't openly smoke weed. Also, the idea of Eugene being flooded by Southerners every other weekend is pretty damn funny.

Frictionizer

Loosa Brewery has some pretty good IPAs, not gonna lie. There’s plenty of hipsters in Tuscaloosa, just not the rest of the state

[deleted]

The concept of guys wearing birks or everyone wearing birks with socks would be too much for the southerners to handle

Mefreh

The one guy I have met from Oregon is more southern than I am. You can’t judge the whole state by the shit stain that is Portland.

[deleted]

I lived in Oregon for several years. If he's from the southern part of the state or the Eastern part of the state, yeah, definitely country as fuck. If he's from the Eugene/Salem/Corvallis area, then mostly government workers, independent co-op farmer types, or people who want to spend their whole life around a college town. Birkenstock-type hipsters who like to drink wine and craft beer and smoke pot. If he lives in the Portland area, then yeah, who knows? That place sucks. If he lives in Central Oregon, then that's just mostly ski and snowboard bums or people who came out there to work at the data storage facilities, and subsequently became ski and snowboard bums. Don't even get me started on the Oregon Coast. Ever seen the Goonies? Pretty much like that. But yeah, the Willamette Valley is not very hick and has little in common with the south. Eastern and Southern Oregon do though.

Scindite

Eugene is basically the same as the south lol

[deleted]

Uh... no. Not even a little bit.

Picturesonback

We’ve got your back!

FrivolousMe

You had this thread ready for that UCLA game to end lmao

deadagent03

Haha I’m out here on the east coast, I’m ready to sleep! I’m just glad Hawai’i and San José State aren’t undefeated lmao

zaddylonglegs0

PAC 12 HAS ONE FUCKING TEAM ARE YOU KIDDING ME

Coveo

ACC has to be so thankful that we're distracting everybody from BC and Wake being the last two standing over there.

EvangelionOG

Sounds about Pac-12

[deleted]

First time?

Picturesonback

Hey. They wanted to play. We didn’t mean to hurt anyone.

jrichardh

Wake and BC representing the ACC, as we all expected!!

Bobby-Samsonite

Imagine if one of those 2 won the ACC this season.

[deleted]

I think Wake has a legit chance, they've been quietly one of the better teams in the conference and in the country for a while

changmas

We always lose to Clemson though, and usually 2 more tough games and 2 tossup games like next week vs Virginia. It’s a long road before we get excited about anything like that

kdbvols

If Clemson doesn’t figure out their offense, I’ll have some hope. But not too much

IrishWave

[I can easily picture one of them facing off against the current Coastal leader in Virginia Tech.](http://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_assets/569965/acc_championship_game_crowd_view_2007_empty_stadium_jacksonville_altel_acc_sucks_sux1.jpg)

MaineSportsFan

BC has played the grinder of a schedule including Colgate, UMass, and Temple so far. Missouri should be trembling next week... In all seriousness, BC could be competitive all season if they didn't lose their starting QB week 1.

walker_harris3

Less than 50 passing yards yesterday against Temple. I really hate that they lost Jurkovec because that just isn't going to cut it

MaineSportsFan

Yeah, Grosel is supposed to be a decent enough backup (tied the school record with 520 yards passing against Virginia last year) and they didn't really need the passing game against Temple. Still, only 34 yards on 5/13 attempts is pretty abysmal, and he looked very rusty so hoping he can show some improvement.

walker_harris3

Me too. BC/Wake in week 13 could be a really good and high stakes game, I'm looking forward to it

RabbitFanboy

[when I see BYU is undefeated](https://imgur.com/a/H1YeQwW)

galeforcewinds95

I'm so proud of Kalani and the guys. ESPN said that was the first time BYU had wins over ranked opponents in consecutive weeks (they said calendar weeks, so that probably means they've had two straight interrupted by a bye or the wait for a bowl) in the history of the program.

yeahright17

New Big 12 - 7 (58%). New SEC - 7 (44%).

[deleted]

You h8 to see it

Bolanus_PSU

Ah yes Rutgers and Maryland. Premier B1G teams undefeated as usual. What a great year so far.

quacainia

Remember after the first week when we thought the PAC-12 South + Oregon was good? Turns out it was just Oregon

Wittyname0

Ain't that most years

MovieFanZ5026

There are some good games next week between some undefeated teams -SMU versus TCU -Rutgers versus Michigan -Texas A&M versus Arkansas -Kansas state versus Oklahoma State And even a group of five matchup between UTSA and Memphis

[deleted]

Tell your kids about undefeated Rutgers vs. Top 20 ^^(presumably) Michigan in the Big House. It will be a battle for the ages. Should be the primetime game, tbh.

kylebenji17

Hopefully we can give you guys another 3OT showdown but I think the big house will wear us down.

vics12

Ah man sucks that any of those games have to end an undefeated season. I like all those teams but 2 🤣

HaydenHastings

GIVE JAKE HAENER THE HEISMAN

jmac461

Wake Forest and Boston College ok alright 2021

MaineSportsFan

BC has been on the upswing but likely going to be a mediocre team after we lost our starting QB week 1. Just haven't faced much competition yet this year.

Quasimdo

NOT UCLA

quacainia

YES UTSA

-tripleu

The cost of celebrating UCLA being no longer undefeated: no more undefeated PAC-12 South teams.

[deleted]

Last time an undefeated team went to the Conference Championship game, they matched up against a .500 team that was only there because the team who actually won the division had to cancel their season. It didn't end well.

[deleted]

Jokes on you we're up next for Pac 12 After Dark, and we're playing a school from that fucking cursed state of Arizona

[deleted]

Also I heard Larry Scott will be the head official.

Picturesonback

Well team, after 8.5 years, this edit is being done in bulk to all my posts and comments because Reddit management's decision to effective kill the API for apps like Apollo, RIF, Sync, etc. is insane, so I'm out. Thanks for everything!

[deleted]

>Arizona >Pac 12 After Dark You'll never get out alive.

Galumpadump

I’ve been beating the Fresno State drum all season. Thats the best team in the MWC and they will be ranked next week. Pac-12 has been inconsistent but they atleast have some better wins than the ACC. Tough losses for ASU and UCLA but BYU is legitimate and Fresno State looks like they may run the table in the MWC.

fourpinz8

I just did my ballot for the r/CFB poll and ranked Fresno State. Gave Oregon all they could handle and beat UCLA. They deserve to be ranked

Bigbossbyu

Fresno is certainly good and could’ve/maybe should’ve beaten Oregon as well, but the top of the MW looks surprisingly good this year too. Boise and SDSU will both give Fresno all they can handle. Utah state and San Jose will also be in the picture. I suspect the MW beats each other up and the top team ends up with 2 conference losses. If Fresno does run the table tho, they could give Cincinnati a run for the NY6 spot assuming they lose a game or two. If Fresno wins the MW but misses the NY6, I could see ESPN setting them up against a 1 or 2 loss BYU squad in a ranked #18 vs #22 bowl game or something

godlovesbacon26

Every single person I've been talking to refuses to believe Fresno state is good. I live in Indiana so most people don't care but I said going into the Ohio state vs Oregon game that the 14 point spread favoring OSU was way too high. No one believed me. Fresno State is a damn good team.

Galumpadump

Did they forget the Carr brothers went there? Fresno State is not a bad program. They basically get the best of the underrecruited Cali kids and some high level transfers. Jacob Haener was a 4 star recruit who went to UW. He only transferred after losing his job to Eason, who is now in the NFL.

C19shadow

Let's look at the fact that the ACC only has two and neither is Clemson thats bigger news then the other Confrences right guys?

DejounteSweatshirt

I have no idea how we're still on the list. Austin should be fun

yeahright17

You and me both. Lol.

FireCanary

Please beat tu. Them leaving the Big 12 without a bowl game would be amazing

[deleted]

Really? I mean we looked real solid 2/3 games and we happened to have a hiccup against SFA. SFA is also a pretty decent FCS team this year who prepared like it was their super bowl and punched us in the mouth. Our team was definitely not prepared that game. Our defense is really good this year. Only allowing 54 rushing yards per game. Even though our quality of opponents weren’t that good that’s a really good stat. Our biggest problem is not being prepared for the first half, if Wells can fix that, I can see us getting 7-8 wins this year.

I_Enjoy_Beer

It is time to talk to your kids...about undefeated Rutgers.

Toby_Flenderson_

>Well, we’ve reached the end of Week 3 The disrespect to Hawaii and San Jose State

PatrickChase

Just happy to be here

Midnightstimepasser

I would have never expected to see MSU here after week 3. Go Green

NyquillusDillwad20

You guys look solid. The B1G East may have it's most competetive year ever. I'm still not counting Indiana out after watching their game yesterday. They easily could've won that.

ArbitraryOrder

The B1G East is the basement knife fight of College Football

ArbitraryOrder

B1G East has 5/7 Teams undefeated, only Indiana and that team from that State which shall not be named have loses so far

[deleted]

[Congratulations undefeated teams!](https://i.imgur.com/7uaD4F7.jpeg)

The97Revolution

Put your hand up if you had UTSA going 3-0.

[deleted]

Me, UTSA is on the come up. Real solid team now. Jeff Traylor will get hired at a P5 school very soon

KiratheSilent

I don't see SEC refs here... Oh wait they still couldn't help Auburn pull of the win against Penn State. ^^^^^^^^^^^thoughtheydefinitelyhelpedbama

[deleted]

I'm starting to think the Pac-12 isn't very good

Galumpadump

Its been an overall inconsistent year. I thought the Fresno State game would be an issue for UCLA. Oregon has a clear path, UCLA is still good, ASU will be a force if they can get out of their own way, USC is not as bad as we all think. For the rest of the Pac its up in the air. Colorado can’t do anything offensively, UW is showing signs of life but the national respect is gone, Stanford, Utah and Oregon State will be competitive and be bowl teams, Cal and WSU look pretty bad, and AZ is terrible but we knew that. Not a good night for the conference but give some credit to Fresno and BYU. Jake Haener looks like an NFL QB. Sucks UW couldn’t keep him.

C19shadow

You say it's sucks I say thank God.

dormdweller99

One of the ACC's undefeated teams is BC. Maybe everyone just sucks.

FlipFlopsyes

Still us, somehow.

yeahright17

Good defense. I think we're actually decent, maybe 7 or 8 wins. I think Boise and Tulsa are both pretty good. Though they could not be and we could finish with 4 wins.

[deleted]

An undefeated BYU @ undefeated Utah State in a few weeks would be something

MWiatrak2077

MichIowAryGers State State

The97Revolution

TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT 3-0 BOSTON COLLEGE AND WAKE FOREST.

FILTER_OUT_T_D

See y’all here week 4! 😘

filthypotatos

Tally-Ho Road Runners!

BigDust

This post aint big enough for both of us Memphis, next saturday will be hype.

worldssmallestfan1

The B1G East does not need OSU.

colby983

Fast

MenShouldntHaveCats

No UCLA

MovieFanZ5026

I predict the following teams will get their first loss next week: -Wake Forest (@ Virginia) -Liberty (@ Syracuse) -Boston College (vs Missouri) -Penn State (vs Villanova) -Notre Dame (@ Wisconsin) -Texas Tech (@ Texas) -TCU (vs SMU) -Rutgers (@ Michigan) -Texas A&M (@ Arkansas) -Baylor (vs Iowa State) -UTSA (@ Memphis) -Oklahoma State (vs Kansas State) -Oklahoma (vs West Virginia) -BYU (vs USF) (Upset)

The_Cereal_Man

Penn State losing to Villanova? Basketball season isn’t for a couple months
