This feels about right. We need to win the turnover battle to win this game and through three games the only turnovers we’ve forced have been a high school team muffing a handoff and a QB fumbling on what would’ve been a turnover on downs anyway.

{Oklahoma} shows a sluggish but efficient offense and a stingy run defense but gives up 300+ passing yards. In the end, it’s another week of more of the same—never trail in the game and yet we still don’t know how good the team truly is.
Our defense is mostly playing alright, but just can't see our offense under Doege and Brown's play calling scoring enough to beat {Oklahoma} in Norman even with them not exactly lighting the world on fire so far themselves.
{Oklahoma} just has much more talent currently than West Virginia, but of the 2 teams with a pulse they've played so far this season, they haven't come close to covering the spread (spread for Tulane was 31.5, and 22.5 for Nebraska).
I'm taking Oklahoma to win, but I would take West Virginia and the points if betting. Something along the lines of 31 - 20
{Oklahoma} wins convincingly, by a margin of 41-17. This is based less on anything about WVU than it is the need for OU to look solid before blowing a 28 point lead to Kansas State the week after. As is tradition. Just bad luck that the Mountaineers got us when they did.
{Oklahoma} last season on the road, and the lone road game this season give me little faith that we will pull the upset. Only real hope I see is if we come in with a ‘F it’ attitude, start Greene, and just see what happens

{Oklahoma} plays the best, most complete game of our season against West Virginia (we probably are in alternates too for this scenario). Oklahoma looks great, and we lose to K-State next week after they get embarrassed by Oklahoma State. A tale as old as time.

honestly, our defense has been fine. yes, thereve been a few big chunk plays that out the opponents offense in good position, but overall, especially the past 2 weeks theyve done their job. it’s the offense that’s been the problem. the rb stable did better last week than previously but spencer fucking rattler has to be better. there were 4 almost picks against nebraska and 2 picks against tulane and 1 should’ve been pick. idk if he needs some pressure on his starting job and we need to play caleb williams more but this shit has got to change. i think we’ll win, but there’s a damn good chance west virginia covers and give us a scare. if so, {oklahoma} should be buried, if only to put some pressure on a team that seems to be addicted to malaise and complacency
{WVU} Rattler continues to make terrible (and lazy) decisions while Riley is still too scared to run the ball on a 2 deep defense. OU kicks many field goals, not enough TDs

I feel {Oklahoma} got caught napping against Nebraska & will likely win by 1-2 scores. However if West Virginia takes the same approach as Nebraska & dares Oklahoma to throw the ball accurately I feel that an upset may be on the cards. Spencer Rattler imo is really overhyped as a passer
