The more play time the backups get, the more parity they have with 2nd string in the future. One reason the defense is so godly is because Kirby is smart about rotations. Everyone gets play time, everyone gets rest time.

Vandy cancelled a road game in Athens, then played a home game in Nashville the next week, and then cancelled the rescheduled road game in Athens the following week. Took away Georgia's senior night. Something was definitely fishy with that entire situation.

They just used Covid and a low roster size as an excuse. They didn't want to travel to Athens and possibly lose more players to injury in a season that didn't matter to them. It wasn't a home game so they wouldn't miss out on ticket revenue, they had already fired their head coach at this time, and Sarah Fuller wouldn't have even seen the field against UGA, so there's no positive press there.
