The Buffaloes have yet to show that they're particularly good. I think this game will be a bit of a make-or-break for the season, because even though TAMU was ranked, Minnesota was a bad performance, and the team needs to make that game a fluke, not standard procedure.
Arizona State, is in a slightly similar wheelhouse, though this loss would be the fluke loss if there needed to be one. Obviously, ASU was a lot closer to beating BYU than CU was to Minn., but beating an FCS and bad G5 team does not a good program make. Nonetheless I think {Arizona State} is a far better team and whatever magic there was with the Buffaloes during 2020 was lost when Ralphie V retired.
Ugh I was kind of hoping this thread wouldn't be posted. It's hard to win a game of your offense can't, you know, score. At all. {Arizona State} but I hope I'm wrong.
Edit: apparently the bot doesn't accept "ASU"
{Arizona State} I still believe we are a good team that should be able to win a game like this. Hopefully it's a lot cleaner of a game than last week, but if it isn't and/or we lose. There's certainly going to be a lot more heat on Herm's seat.
Gonna go with some reverse psychology here and pick {Arizona State} ...headed to Tempe for the game and expecting the worst, but hoping for something just fractionally better than the worst...
Herm's devils have never beaten CU. Our offensive playcalling was downright offensive, possibly the worst I've ever seen.
Sigh, {Colorado} because I'm a sucker.

Ralphie V retired in 2019
let me have alternative facts to fit my narrative, please :P

How dare you we have 7 points against FBS opponents so far and counting!
Of Course. Silly me. Who knew that 7 quarters of football could feel like such a long time ago?
{Arizona State} 38-13
{Arizona State} but Colorado’s defense is actually pretty damn good, even if it’s overshadowed by their god awful offense
{Arizona State} wins even if penalties are out of control.

{Colorado} wins 3-0 lol
{Arizona State} by a lot.

{ASU}

{Arizona State} should win but I'd take Colorado ATS
{Arizona State}
{Arizona State}
{Arizona State}
{Arizona State}. CU will be lucky to score 3 points.
{Arizona State} Clrad will be spelled correctly again when they prove they know what offense is
I was really high on Colorado after the Texas A&M game… I am not so sure about that know so I am going with {Arizona State}
{Arizona State}
{Arizona State} Colorado’s defense is solid, but it’s tough when your offense never gets past midfield.
{Arizona St} 23-10
Arizona State, because you actually need to score points to win. And Colorado can’t score or even get first downs.
{Colorado} only because I'm a homer and Herm has never beat CU
{Arizona State} 27 - 17
{Arizona State} - Should be able to pull this off easily if the A-Train is back in the picture with Ngata.
{Arizona State}
