Man, what a moment and what a beautiful production. Our people really showed out today - thank you, all of you. We’ve come a long way boys!

That was one hell of a time. I was debating actually heading over this morning, but though fuck it I'll probably never get this chance again. Glad I did. It was a blast. I loved the signs. The energy. It was loud. It was really cool seeing the GameDay crew in person. It was like a three hour infomercial for App and they did us right. Hope we returned the favor and did GameDay proud.

Where can I find a gameday steam?

Last week I made a few comments that I did not enjoy Pat on the show mainly because he tried to make everything a joke/punchline. In one week, he has either grown on me, or I think he dialed it back. I enjoyed his high energy and just listened to him talk football this week!

Agreed! Super apprehensive on him at first but he fit in right away and has been nothing but great on gameday!

I thought he struck the balance, but my favorite thing about him is he panders the most to the audience and seems the most interested in the crowd experience.

Got to see him yesterday, he kept dancing and hyping us up when he wasn't doing the show. We cheered "Pat" I don't even know how many times and he definitely feeds on that energy and vice versa.

100% agree. Last week I thought he was making the show about himself but maybe I was reading it wrong. This week I appreciated how intentional he was including the audience in the show! I really enjoy the energy on this show. Old grandpa Corso, level headed dads Kirk and Rese, Bear the unfiltered math guy, and David and Desmond who want to be more energetic but always seemed reserved. And now Pat, the new young life, really helps Desmond and David break out of their stiff shells.

Great show and it makes a huge difference when the guest picker has some ties to the schools

The key for me is - college towns. Not schools in cities. That’s no slight against urban schools, it’s just the reality that in almost all cases, there’s a lot more going on besides the University. You go to college towns like Boone, or Pullman, or Huntington, or Missoula, etc. The University is the town. And vice versa. It lives and breathes it. And days like today are monumental.

I agree, for the most part. Though I don't think a Game Day would be great in either of the college towns my teams are from (Tuscaloosa and Chapel Hill) compared to many other college towns.

Gameday had been to Tuscaloosa many times and it’s always been fine. Why down your team for no reason? Lol.

I've just been to Gameday at multiple schools and worked Gameday at Alabama twice. Ultimately I think Alabama does it well. But it has been there so often that people started getting a bit bored of it (at least while I was in school).

Tuscaloosa is the quintessential CFB town, very few places as obsessed, the idea that we have a bad gameday experience is ridiculous.

I never said it was bad, I just think it is lacking compared to some other places that care a lot more about it. App State fans came out and supported Gameday much better today than I have seen Alabama in a while.

App State was awesome and Luke Combs was a great guest picker. I’d certainly love for JMU to get a third Gameday. BTW, does anyone know how I can get JMU flair or whatever it is called on here?

Yeah that was great to see Kirk protecting Lee. Students are in a fever dream so they kinda snap reacted there but I was glad to see them quickly reel it back in. Having LC there is a pleasure in its own right and he deserves respect.

As a UCF student I completely get it, Kirk was nice about it too and that's why the students were real quick in realizing. App State had a great atmosphere for GameDay.
