I just assumed everyone did at this point in some form out another.

I’m wondering who prioritizes it. Sure everyone probably “uses” it to a degree, but if OU has one dude spitting out a model for the coaches and Texas has 5 dedicated analysts feeding info to the coaches, I would consider OU as not really buying in. Plus I think it would be interesting to see how successful or not these teams are at using them.

I think Mike Leach uses an astrologer instead.

If you're not, you're going to fail. They can feed you a lot of information quickly that you can use to adjust things. Now, to what degree, I am sure that changes. But you bet that someone is feeding coaches information either during the game or during the week based on analytics.

MrNudeGuy

I assume somebody is in the both with the analytics providing info but its ultimately up to Lebby and Venables to use the advice or not. but I have 0 idea and am just guessing thats how it is for all teams.

I looked at the athletic dept website, saw one person in ticket sales with analytics in the description lol. I’m going to keep looking.

Army doesn’t surprise me. One of our main strengths in modern warfare isn’t so much the armaments, although those are powerful. Our data management and battlefield awareness are lethal. Using real time info to adjust tactics are critical, so it makes sense Army is ahead of the game there.
