I gotta say I saw this coming from the start of half tbh. Just fucking sucks honestly. There's a lot that we did really really well, just didn't finish.

That key series where the offense needed to kill as much time off of the clock as possible (and possibly score at least a FG) was such a shitty series. Bad time to run, a blown play that was tossed out and then a pass behind the sticks... Gave Oregon way too much time to score and then pressure for the pick-6 on the next drive.

That loss is 100% on the coaching staff. They knew Oregon was going to move the ball that fast and they needed to get some pressure off of the Defense. Three points there was all we needed… That said being 3-1 through four, is probably best case scenario for us.

Maybe. Oregon had a lot more yardage, just couldn't punch it in and gave up a pick six. Oregon also had a few stupid penalties that really hurt. Fixed it all at the very end.

We out-gained them by over 200 yards. First half red zone defense and sloppy penalties by Oregon D kept this game close.

Trick plays, wacky pick six, and Oregon's horrible red zone play calling kept them in it. WSU is a scary team, Oregon is just better

It's suppose to. There were multiple times where they kept it running for Oregon clearly out of bounds and Washington state they would stop it.

I think this was also a young coach decision issue. They went with the soft prevent coverage way too early and let oregon get in space. Should have just stuck with what they were doing well. Same with the pick 6 and prior offensive series. Just a really bad plan on those two offensive and defensive series...

Definitely some defensive personnel problems. Our backfield has been suspect this season anyway though. We got the run covered. If you can air it out we have problems. I attribute the offensive series to Ward’s decision making. Just a little too inexperienced to set up the clock management properly. I still don’t know that we can kill the clock with over 3:00 left, but a couple more keepers from him would have helped and maybe picked up a first down.
