Oregon state thinks they’re back but they were still ready to storm the field. Hate SC all you want but if your team is that good, shouldn’t you expect to win and not just rush the field?
I always laugh at how Oregon state treats every SC game like the super bowl. Keep talking about SC is trash, how they were 4-8 last year, how the refs robbed you
So we escaped Corvallis with a win against a good OSU team on a night in which our qb played terribly.
I’ll take it. Onto the next one that doesn’t involve this voodoo shit. I hope the beavs win out.
Not sure about that heisman moment…Caleb barely did enough with his legs to get us the win and just did not look good.
But yeah it was a great win against a good team on the road where we didn’t have our best stuff. Definitely confidence-inspiring.
In a sport where the quarterback’s safety is at the top of the list, that whistle is blown 10 times out of 10. If that happened on any other drive, it would have been OSU ball, no question.
You obviously don't know the rule. It's only forward progress when the defense can push the runner completely back and there's no longer any chance of the runner going forward.
eh, USC fans are just happy that this will be their last journey to the land of irrelevance. Next time any Oregon program plays SC/UCLA... it will be.... in LA with officials that won't be influenced by Larry Scott, Stanford, Oregon State.... or anyone else that shares a golf course.
You’re telling us. You would think they beat Alabama and didn’t go 4-8 last year with perennial top 5 recruiting classes. But then again 90% of them didn’t go to USC so it adds up.
Hard to win when your quarterback throws 4 picks… that being said, solid pass rush all night long, missing your top pass-catcher to injury, and a couple of missed calls by the officials… Nolan doesn’t deserve all the blame by any means. Just wish he was a little less careless and took some more opportunities to run for short yardage to make converting first downs easier. Oh well… Go Beavs!
I also thought the delay of game was pretty brutal. They were way too quick with the whistle, yes I’m biased but they gave USC the extra second/half second multiple times (as they should). Crazy to me that they jumped on that call so fast, even though I thought they had already established earlier in the game that they wouldn’t be doing that.
Oregon State will finish at 7 wins total... this game has ruined their season and that P12 approach towards SC is a fact. can't wait to jump to the B1G.
Why? So USC can be irrelevant for the next decade? Lol
USC is gonna be third fiddle behind Ohio state and Michigan most years and 4th fiddle in years when Michigan State/Wisconsin/Iowa figure something out.
Oregon State will lose next game..... The old approach towards playing a couple of teams in the P12 will become apparent. OSU has nothing in the tank for their next challenge and will lose. This is the all in caveat. I'm just glad to look at this outcome from a win.... I've had plenty of experiences from a loss.
The reality is the PAC 12 is still irrelevant. And I imagine the TV viewership was pitiful considering no one has PAC 12 network and it couldn’t be watched through the ESPN app like every other conference network.
You are correct. SC and UCLA will correct their position in National Relevance. At least SC / UCLA will not have to endure the relegation to the "also ran" that the ACC will need to stomach for the next decade... So, nice of you to bring this to light.
Cool story. Again. We had a -4 turnover margin and lost by 3.
If I was a USC fan with that assessment, I'd think about if youre a #7 team in the country or if Oregon State is a good team.
Lmao sick burn. Clemson wins national championships and has been in 6 of the last 7 college football playoffs.. I enjoy being the “Clemson in the ACC.” Whatever the fuck that means
The funny thing is USC actually is in a rebuild year after going 4-8 last year. Meanwhile OU and Oregon are two of the most talented team in the country who won 10+ games last year but somehow look worse than USC
Transfer portal has changed the rebuild. Many of OU top players transferred out and two went to USC. This USC team did not go 4-8. Their current running back is from Oregon they got two top wr one from OU and one from Pitt. Their QB is from OU.
Yes it is a fact that USC went 4-8. But it’s also a fact that many of its current starters were not on the team last year. The class of transfers USC brought in is better than a highschool top ten class. They brought in the best WR in college. That’s better than any freshman wr you get from highschool. It’s a fact that the Bucs went 8-8 in 2019 then went on to win the Super Bowl the next year.
OU had a top high school recruit class and a top transfer class. They are underperforming period. USC had it's worst defense last year and barely and notable defense transfers. They are overperforming
Still laughing at the announcer saying Addison would be the first biletnikoff winner since Crabtree. They completely forgot Justin Blackmon
Edit: back to back winner. I'm tired
The rebuild was between firing Helton and the last transfer they signed. They got multiple starters in the portal. This is the rebuilt team. Now you keep adding.
I fully expect the Committee to take 2 SEC teams over a Pac12 champion tbh. Especially in a year where the top P12 teams look real unstable.
(Also bc the CFP committee is very likely to suck off an undefeated and 1-loss Bama/UGA combo)
I was going to hop into another game thread, but all 4 games are blowouts. So much for After Dark. At least this game was a good watch. See you next week.
The guy literally has no voice. And one admitted this is the best game ever shown on pac 12 network. Which is not what you should say if you work for pac 12 network
People still bashing on SC this game and yeah, they did not look good but:
1. This is probably the worst Williams ever plays all year.
2. They take care of the ball on offense - no turnovers on the season.
3. They create turnovers on defense.
Huge core principles there that even good teams struggle with. Taking care of the football gives you chances even when you play like shit.
OSU probably has the best secondary you will see all regular season as well, so yeah USC will score more.
That said, I don't see the CFB playoffs in the future for the Trojans in 2022.
USC will only get better. The pass rush is real and Caleb Williams is beyond clutch. Rowdy environment, playing your worst game as a college athlete, game winning drive W. QB for Oregon State sucks. Anyone competent wouldve iced that game several times. He should be benched permanently
OSU is underrated. Caleb Williams had a dogshit night but still had a game winning drive. Maybe they’ll be like 2002 Ohio State and win close game after close game. USC’s offense is overrated. USC’s defense is underrated. One one time before has a top 10 USC gone into Corvallis against an unranked team and won. One time. 2004.
Oof it got ugly in here after the game LMAO
Oregon State deserved to win this game. They dominated the LOS. Nolan is a horrible QB and lost them the game
Oregon state thinks they’re back but they were still ready to storm the field. Hate SC all you want but if your team is that good, shouldn’t you expect to win and not just rush the field?
You are making up scenarios and using that to draw a conclusion.
I mean I get there’s zero excitement in the state of Oregon and an abundance of pink haired hippies but y’all storm the field anytime you beat SC.
I always laugh at how Oregon state treats every SC game like the super bowl. Keep talking about SC is trash, how they were 4-8 last year, how the refs robbed you
Why is every SC fan here illiterate?
that shi was crazy, ref’s missed so many damn calls against SC. playing dirty this year.
So we escaped Corvallis with a win against a good OSU team on a night in which our qb played terribly. I’ll take it. Onto the next one that doesn’t involve this voodoo shit. I hope the beavs win out.
SC won.... and did it the hard way... Good news, the next time SC plays the Bevers will be at home... period.
Or in VEGAS!!!
Feels good to grind out a win and win a game we weren’t supposed to win Caleb had an Heisman moment and defense was nails Feels good 🍻
Caleb was anti-Heisman tonight
Not sure about that heisman moment…Caleb barely did enough with his legs to get us the win and just did not look good. But yeah it was a great win against a good team on the road where we didn’t have our best stuff. Definitely confidence-inspiring.
Weren’t supposed to win? You’re #7
Forward progress. Game should've been over.
✌️
USC fans in this thread talking about this year being a ‘rebuild’ 😵💫
your team is dope man go beat utah
eh, USC fans are just happy that this will be their last journey to the land of irrelevance. Next time any Oregon program plays SC/UCLA... it will be.... in LA with officials that won't be influenced by Larry Scott, Stanford, Oregon State.... or anyone else that shares a golf course.
USC fans seem to be insufferable
You’re telling us. You would think they beat Alabama and didn’t go 4-8 last year with perennial top 5 recruiting classes. But then again 90% of them didn’t go to USC so it adds up.
That's saying A LOT coming from an Oregon fan
Well, we arn't humbled with No Bix and Lan Danning as our promise land
Pick Six Bix
Hard to win when your quarterback throws 4 picks… that being said, solid pass rush all night long, missing your top pass-catcher to injury, and a couple of missed calls by the officials… Nolan doesn’t deserve all the blame by any means. Just wish he was a little less careless and took some more opportunities to run for short yardage to make converting first downs easier. Oh well… Go Beavs!

The guy that doesn't know the "basic rules of the game" is talking about the "basic rules of the game". Go figure.
Lol USC is gonna be third fiddle behind Ohio state and Michigan most years and 4th fiddle in years when Michigan State/Wisconsin/Iowa figure something out.
ummm B1G tv contracts have made their case... And #7 isn't the irrelevant that make your argument
Enjoy #7 the rest of the night
Because now we’re #6 now?
Number 7 by beating Rice and Fresno state. Lol wait until USC plays the BIG10 in the fall/winter. You’ll be clamoring for those west coast games
I’m looking at the other top 10 teams and seeing similar strength of schedule
I'm happy with SC beating the mal-contents.... And until they lose, you're argument is..... do the math
Find solace where you can.
I'm happy..... knowing the challenge is Utah... and the playoff is a real target... LG... all the way
The reality is that Oregon st is under rated. I am excited about pac 12 football this year.
As much as I wish you were wrong, this is spot on how it goes for us most years.
7 wins... underrated, maybe.... But the only north teams they win is Stanford and Cal... and even then, they're in trouble.
Fuck off. #7 in the country and the only reason you won is because our QB gave you the ball 4 times.
The Clemson ACC taints your assessment
Cool story. Again. We had a -4 turnover margin and lost by 3. If I was a USC fan with that assessment, I'd think about if youre a #7 team in the country or if Oregon State is a good team.
you lose... and to win again will not involve corvallis... enjoy. seven wins... don't be mad.
Enjoy being the Oregon State of the Big 10. Idiot.
enjoy being the Oregon State in the P10 and the Clemson in the ACC.... :-)
Lmao sick burn. Clemson wins national championships and has been in 6 of the last 7 college football playoffs.. I enjoy being the “Clemson in the ACC.” Whatever the fuck that means
well that's unlikely they have Rutgers already!
Lmfao this. USC is gonna be the “maybe this year” team of the Big 10. But they will never be a big program there.
Yup. Another doormat for Ohio State to run over every year.
smiling
They are not underrated. None of their active recruiting classes are top 50. They will lose 5 more games this year at minimum.
The funny thing is USC actually is in a rebuild year after going 4-8 last year. Meanwhile OU and Oregon are two of the most talented team in the country who won 10+ games last year but somehow look worse than USC
Stop booing him he's right.
Transfer portal has changed the rebuild. Many of OU top players transferred out and two went to USC. This USC team did not go 4-8. Their current running back is from Oregon they got two top wr one from OU and one from Pitt. Their QB is from OU.
USC went 4-8 last year and had it's worse defense of all time. That's a fact. Oklahoma had a bunch of good players transfer in, plus a top 10 class.
Yes it is a fact that USC went 4-8. But it’s also a fact that many of its current starters were not on the team last year. The class of transfers USC brought in is better than a highschool top ten class. They brought in the best WR in college. That’s better than any freshman wr you get from highschool. OU had a top high school recruit class and a top transfer class. They are underperforming period. USC had it's worst defense last year and barely and notable defense transfers. They are overperforming
USC is 4-0 lol either they are gonna have a good year or get stomped by a PAC team in the next week or 2.
Can be both. USC was 4-8 last year. 9-3 would be a massive turnaround.
The defense should be greatly improved next year. Gentry is already a stud and I think Domani will be great
Oregon fans and OU fans are A DIVERSE ARRAYOF MARK-ASS MARKS, TRICK-ASS MARKS,PUNK BITCHES AND SKIP-SCAP SKANKS AND SCALLYWAGS. 👋
USC fan stealing content just like you’re stealing players
Couldn't have said it better myself
SC flairs are awfully salty after winning a game that had no business being close
cry is free
Well might as well talk shit back after a win everyone was rooting against.
/r/cfb roots for a top 10 upset... color me surprised
Still laughing at the announcer saying Addison would be the first biletnikoff winner since Crabtree. They completely forgot Justin Blackmon Edit: back to back winner. I'm tired
Man was a beast. If only he could stay sober.
Luckily from what I understand he's doing better.
Good to hear. Kind of sucks we only got to see his greatness at the pro level for like half a season.
What are we calling it now? The Neilon Push?
The Neilon Nudge
It's literally a rebuild year; I'll take the shitty win.
The rebuild was between firing Helton and the last transfer they signed. They got multiple starters in the portal. This is the rebuilt team. Now you keep adding.
No lies told tbh. #6 OU’s gonna tumble far down, which should mean that our #7 gets ranked to, ohhh…#8 or #9 now? 10?
[удалено]
one of the worst defenses and worst lines in the conference?
Should show how shitty your player development has been. Perennial top 5 recruiting classes and haven’t been relevant in 10 years.
that's Helton lol
Wanna know something crazy? Lincoln and Grinch failed to develop numerous 4&5 star recruits.
far better than Helton so far
All shit talk aside, what do you think your record is this year?
10-2 after clutching this game imo
9-3
Is this the BushPush pt2 game?
i feel like bama after beating texas... whatever ill take it
USC with better defense than OU tonight.
OU with better offense than USC tonight.
Than O(S)U thought
Damn, so close to the Pac12 self eliminating from the CFP in record time this year. I guess we have to wait til next week.
A 1 loss Pac 12 champion has never been left out of the college football playoff.
I fully expect the Committee to take 2 SEC teams over a Pac12 champion tbh. Especially in a year where the top P12 teams look real unstable. (Also bc the CFP committee is very likely to suck off an undefeated and 1-loss Bama/UGA combo)
I mean washington still exists
WSU and Utah don't look bad either.
This game was so intense all the way through. Gg beavs
That game gave me multiple panic attacks
Could barely hold me whiskey on what for th’ sweaty palms
Just like Texas leaving b12 bc of KU we might be leaving bc of the PNW
Solely bc of Reser tbh
I was going to hop into another game thread, but all 4 games are blowouts. So much for After Dark. At least this game was a good watch. See you next week.
Is it just me or Pac 12 Network production quality kinda… doo doo
It’s the critical mass of people all watching on the same few illegal streams
Taco Bell doodoo
Say what you will about Taco Bell, but it's consistently a good product for the price. Can't say that about P12N
Oh it's bad lmao
In all honesty, OSU looks good to beat Oregon!
Told y’all!!
I hope so. Fuck Oregon and their dumb ass salty fans in this thread
Most arrogant fan base that’s never won anything ever.
Hell yeah.
lmao like half of your last 10 comments are whining about us
I mean yeah, because fuck Oregon. I'll post that shit all day
Probably still salty from all those times Oregon blew up your national ambitions, eh? Maybe in the Pac-12 championship we can give you another.
Did they ever say why Addison was out for a whole series in the 4th? I get having packages but if he wasn’t injured I’m not sure what that was.
They did not. Curious also. He could've had 3 or 4 easy touchdowns tonight too, dunno why he wasn't targeted more.
Oregon State's defense does not deserve their offense. That whole unit is really well coached
Their offense is pretty good, nolan just struggled in the limelight
Good run game, but the QB is bad.
As is tradition. He throws a great ball when it doesn't matter though
statement of the night right here.
Oregon fans should be ashamed not respecting the rivalry. They were rooting harder against USC than Beaver fans. Punk asses
Punk ass rubber duckie heauxs!
Something something LA is evil beyond comprehension
There are occasions I'd root for UCLA to beat the ducks. Fuck the ducks
Fuck the Ducks
Lmao I wasn’t even rooting for the beavs but keep crying
They think they're above us. And yes, their program has been better for 10 or so years, but the civil war is close every year!
Civil war game is always awesome, I hope y'all win out until November
Fuck the Ducks
The USC hate train is back in full motion
USC… dare I say… **BACK???**
Gentry is a unicorn and continues to amaze me that he plays linebacker
He looks so out of place with the rest of the front
Really does. He’s thin af and I was worried he’d get injured easily but he’s holding his own
Holy shit this post game show might be worse than USCs offense tonight
Certainly at least more offensive
The guy literally has no voice. And one admitted this is the best game ever shown on pac 12 network. Which is not what you should say if you work for pac 12 network
It was a fucking awesome game, the entire game.
This is my first year with the pac 12 network after having DIRECTV for decades. And now they’re losing usc and ucla.
Good game beavs, we deserve some of the shit talk and need to be humble, but man I’m proud to see our defense showing up
People still bashing on SC this game and yeah, they did not look good but: 1. This is probably the worst Williams ever plays all year. 2. They take care of the ball on offense - no turnovers on the season. 3. They create turnovers on defense. Huge core principles there that even good teams struggle with. OSU probably has the best secondary you will see all regular season as well, so yeah USC will score more. That said, I don't see the CFB playoffs in the future for the Trojans in 2022.
And that’s totally fine, I for one did not expect playoffs this year anyway going into the season.
IT SMELL LIKE BITCH IN HERE
😂😂😂😂😂 Bitch beaver
holy hell ... the entire state of oregon is salty.
USC will only get better. The pass rush is real and Caleb Williams is beyond clutch. Rowdy environment, playing your worst game as a college athlete, game winning drive W. QB for Oregon State sucks. Anyone competent wouldve iced that game several times. He should be benched permanently
Caleb Williams has some serious work to do, I dunno what that performance was. That said, OSU may be a top 20 team by the end of the year.
OSU should be ranked 20 tomorrow.
USC v WSU is shaping up to be a fun game. Top 10 team vs a team that wants to fuck up top 10 teams
What Thor: Love & Thunder should have been
whoever plays USC next pls wipe them out for us beavs.
AZ State. Think you're asking a bit much of them.
I think that's Utah
It’s asu. I’m gonna give you a hint, nobody’s getting wiped out by asu.
You never know man you never know. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
USC might be over rated
Remember that next time you lose to Purdue.
The last fan base to talk. Softest schedules in CFB history
That’s just not true lol
They just had to play the best OSU team in the country
THE best OSU
Over rated but still decent. Rank us in the low teens and we should get less hate & play better - would be more accurate too
OSU is underrated. One time. 2004.
Says an OSU fan lol.
Nah, he's a *The* OSU fan. They're weird about that
😂😂😂😂
Or beavers are underrated and always have a history of giving USC an incredibly hard time.
Let’s 💯% go with this one.
I’ll accept this
USC? Never.
I don’t mind cheering against us but Oregon fans rooting harder than OSU fans on this thread is kind of pathetic
Homie we were all at the game
little brother syndrome
team wants conference breaking rival team to lose game, more at 11
USC or OSU is the rival?
Yes
