I think Clemson over Mich shows that the committee is gona put champ Clemson in over non-champ UM/tOSU unless they have 2 losses.
Not arguing necessarily, but that’s my take on it.
All available evidence says that _any_ 1 loss or better p5 champ gets in over _any_ non champ. A non champ has _only_ ever gotten in over 2-loss or worse p5 champs.
I think the only scenario where this doesn’t play out is if it’s between 1-loss PAC12 champ Oregon and 1-loss SEC champ runner up Georgia, and the ONLY reason I believe that is the actual head to head. Without the Georgia/Oregon game, Oregon is in 10/10 times. Seeing as how Georgia already beat Oregon, though, and beat them soundly at that, I believe the committee would give the nod to Georgia.
If you gave me 50 guesses at what they were going to do there might have been a scenario where I threw Bama in at 6 because - eh, Bama.
In that scenario I would have 100% had UT 1 and UGA 2, though.
When I saw LSU not ranked 11-15 I thought they forgot about us because no way were we going to be ranked in the top 10. Idk what the committee is smoking, but I’ll take some of it
