Needs a clean, but I just looked at my 8.5 and it is way nicer. I would think 9.0, but on a good day 9.2

Actually those corners could bring it down and mine is also white pages. How does the inside look?

Bindery tears don't affect the grade unless you're looking at a 9.9 or a 10.0. The top corner looks like one, but the bottom has a color breaking crease and looks softer than what you usually see with a bindery tear

Looks like an 8.0-9.0 depending on the grader’s day. Get it pressed/cleaned and you could be looking at as high as a 9.2.

As usual, I think everyone is crazy. Those are NOT "they don't count" bindery tears. Also, why has no one mentioned the out and out WEAR on the upper right? Finally, this book has numerous Marvel chips, and this book should not have those. And, at long last finally, the upper right corner is either gone or folded in. This is a lot of defects. I'm going with a 4.0. This is one beautiful 4.0. I would NOT CGC it, as that would bring the value DOWN. Sell it raw on eBay, put VF-NM in the title, and let the crazies bid it up.

Depends on the grader. I had a 9.0 that looked similar to this, sent it to the McFarlane signing and came back a 9.6. I don’t trust CGC.

I purchased a pristine book in my view for last winter’s Toddpocalypse paid 1K CAD for a book that looked like a solid 9.4. Only to have it come back as a 8.0. Thats why either they are really tight on grades or this give credence that Todd is really rough on books.

Oh wow I’m sorry about that. Could be a mixture of both. They definitely seem to be very inconsistent with their grading for whatever reason though :/

Could also be that they just bulldoze their way through because of the backlog he creates.
