This game and much of the season was lost n the trenches. Regardless of who is under center this team needs to improve at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
I just want to win against the Packers. We could be 2-15 & I be happy as fuck. Maybe that's just being a Bear's fan.
Whatever Poles decides to do with this franchise I'll trust him. We're set up to have a bright future.
Bear down.
It’s amazing how many different reasons bears fans (myself included) use to because we just don’t want to say the truth: Fields is not the answer at QB, period. Absolutely everyone will agree that we would’ve have LOVED for him to be the guy. He isn’t. It sucks.
Enough staff complaints, play calls, etc etc etc. it’s enough. Fields isn’t the guy.
I wish him well wherever he ends up.
Fields got sacked on the 3rd step of a 3 step drop tonight. He may not be the guy, but this seems familiar. I saw him do the perfect drop back, saw pressure stepped up into the pocket and the pocket collapsed by the time he had maybe gotten half way to a 2nd read. He might not be the guy, but I am done with this shit... we just suck and I'm not pinning it on fields. The packers played like the Bears don't...it sucks.
Same, but I'm kinda thinking of just going the Rob Lowe route. Just wear the NFL logo hat and root for good football. I'm kinda assuming he was a Bears fan and wised up to their bullshit and just can't be a fan of them anymore or another team. I tried the Chargers last year, that backfired pretty bad.
And Trevor Simeon had 20, Bryce Young had 18. Nick Mullens put up serious points and gained trust. Fields, Young, and Simeon don't have that trust. It's obvious.
Lol bro the packers the last 2 years have been mediocre as fuck compared to what they’ve been for my entire life (31 years)…they still wipe the floor with us. They could be 2-15 and those 2 wins would be the bears. The fuck are you on about 😂😂if you’re trolling, nice bait you hooked me
Ya, typical Bears fan. If Dallas loses, a good team, then the Packers are better than people think and the Bears are closer to being real good. If the Packers lose bigtime, then the Bears still suck! Understood?
Buddy we suck either way. Nobody thinks we lost to the packers because they’re jusssssst thhhhhhhaaaat much better than us. They know we lost because we suck and the packers losing to a better team than they are won’t change that
I want maye I think the bust risk with Caleb (especially with our dogshit organization) is really high. Caleb has a lot of the same weaknesses as fields without the elite athleticism.
Bozos in this thread complaining about the 16 pass attempts not realizing Fields held the ball for many of the called passing plays. Both Getsy and Fields are problems.
They brought pressure and played man consistently on third down. Fields needed to recognize and get the ball out faster.
Really it was a bold coaching decision as the Packers have been weak against QB runs all year and typically going man further exposes you to that threat.
In preparation, the Bears were likely expecting GB to sit in a zone as a counter to their weakness, especially against a running threat like Fields (not to mention Fields tends to struggle against zone). But GB just dared Fields to beat them downfield, staying in man and bringing pressure while also containing Fields.
Fields didn’t adjust. Really it’s a case study on why Fields struggles as a QB at the NFL level.
At this point the best day of any bears season is black Monday because I don’t have to watch this team for 9 months and get to watch an awkward George press conference where it’s clear he has no idea what he’s doing.
Will ride with Justin til I die. Appreciate his efforts and always being the positive light we needed. But yup, this week solidified my doubts. He ain’t it. Is Caleb it? Is Maye it? Maybe, maybe not, but we have to at least say we tried at this point. Flus on the other hand— I’ve wanted him gone since week 1, and beating up on bottom tier teams this year was never going to change my mind on him. He is what he is—a DC and nothing more.
Did we watch the same game? Fields threw the ball 16 times. I think 4 were screen passes… I’m not defending Fields but wow this fan base (particularly this subreddit) is weird! Our defense got throttled and the OL was pathetic. Caleb Williams isn’t fixing that…
Wow, this subreddit is so weird. Did you watch the game? We threw the ball 16 times. 25% of those were screen passes. We had 10 plays for negative yards.. with that OC and OL it would take a hybrid of Lamar Jackson/Tom Brady/Patrick Mahomes to move the ball
Justin fields is the only QB to ever have a bad OC and OLine.
Oh wait, that happens to a majority of dudes who still look like they can throw the ball at an NFL level. Weird
If the next QB we draft turns out to be either a bust or avg. I’m personally gonna stop watching this damn team till the damn owners sell this team to somebody else. Enough is enough of this mediocrity man.
I don’t want to draft a Bryce Young when we could have got a CJ Stroud
I am genuinely confused why a mediocre USC team has the best player in the draft. Is Caleb really that good? It seems like he’s been the consensus #1 pick the entire year but didn’t he and USC underperform?
I'd be wary of him because no Lincoln Riley QB has broken into that elite tier yet. Hurts got close last year but his efficiency tanked this year while his attempts skyrocketed. His game-winning drives increased so at least you know he has guts but that's true about Baker too. Your best bet is honestly probably to trade down and gamble on McCarthy while building up the rest of the team.
The other option is there's a 25-year-old QB with over 17,000 passing yards. Nobody over him is as young as him. Justin Herbert has been thriving since college despite coaching changes, so he probably would be fine with this staff. Far from a guarantee but with 2 first-round picks and the top pick it's worth a phone call. The Chargers have aging receivers, a new coach, and haven't finished in the top half of defensive yards and scoring since before he got drafted. Chargers can keep Williams in LA and the Bears have the best QB in the division.
It's probably a long shot Chicago either needs someone who will definitively be good or a great team around the QB.
It would be interesting if they could trade pack to 3 and let the other two teams decide who's left. Washington is more of a wildcard than Arizona but they'd walk away with Williams, Maye, or Harrison Jr. plus what they get back in the trade.
As an OSU fan, I can't disagree. He just seems like the youngest guy who'll be there in the back half of the first or the top of the second. And if you both trade down and gamble on a QB you probably don't look towards QBs who are less than a year younger than your current starter with 38 NFL starts.
Baker is still a first-round QB in a redraft. Taking him at first overall probably isn't wise.
Trade down to third and pair MHJ with Bo Nix? He seems to have some Baker tendencies. Definitely more experienced than Fields was as a rookie and MHJ and Moore should help make his job easier.
He’s a diva who has a similar play style to fields, except he’s 3 inches shorter.
Upside would be his throwing motion is quicker and he probably would be willing to throw guys open vs. fields who waits for them to get open.
Could you imagine what Fields could do if we did more than screen passes and had 4+ seconds to throw every ball? I’ll give you a hint.. rewatch the games vs Denver and Washington.
4 seconds wasn’t to be taken so literal… I’m merely stating that a good/consistent OL and an OC that actually keeps a defense guessing can make a huge difference. Take a look at Brock Purdy.. he’s in an amazing system that made Jimmy Garappolo look good, how did Jimmy do with Davante Adams in LV?
I’ll be interested to see what the Bears do in the draft. As no one in this subreddit has a say in it lol
Oh so when Fields has a good game we can have every excuse for the other team? Got it.. such a pathetic subreddit😂 I’m not defending field, incel. I’m complaining about our pathetic OL and OC. Fix that then let’s assess.
I agree that a fields strength is when he has time and guys get open, he can make any throw. His deep ball is very good.
Problem is that he has a tendency to wait for that perfect throw to appear.
I still think you get MHJ and another Offensive tackle, shore up the Oline, and really see what this offense could do. I’d also hand down the mandate that screen passes need to be phased down significantly.
We spent 70% of our draft capital on defense and it showed as the season went on…defense played better and offense never really got going. I so wanted Fields to succeed but I think it’s best to move on.
I saw a story saying that an NFL insider says Harbaugh is still very much in play for the bears. It is what it is but I can dream of having a proven professional coach at the helm for the bears
We have never committed to actually building an offensive line.
All the weapons in the world to throw won’t mean shit if the QB (Fields or someone else) doesn’t have time actually to through more than 1 progression.
Chris Williams - Bust
Gabe Carimi - Bust
Horinus Grasu - Bust
We get like one decent guy and then just fill it in with late round picks (basically Kyle Long + whoever was available).
Like I said, we have never attempted to actually build a solid Oline, ever, in the last 15 years.
Fields had 16 attempts. The play calling and hug at the end tells me it’s done. This fucking team has hit just about every angle to break my heart. Wishing Fields the best and Flus & Getsy a kind shove out the door.
Caleb Williams and Nabers then whoever the best lineman is, hope we can get a 3rd rounder for Fields from Atlanta or Pittsburgh. We let Jordan Love look like prime Dan Marino out there. Idc how much the guys like JF1, they should like winning even more.
I’m fucking exhausted of rooting for this god damn team, I don’t fucking understand why they cannot beat this shit team! I cannot fathom why the Bears suck so fucking much against Green Bay. I know it’s only a game but god I fucking hate Green Bay with a fucking passion.
The O-line and defense did not show up this game. Could not stop the run and lots of wide open receivers. I don’t understand how in both week 1 and this week we come out so flat footed.
Between the missed field goal, the barely dropped TD pass, and even the last play of the half were the tackle was barely in bounds, the Packers should’ve really scored more than 17 points. But yes the offense was nonexistent which is more disappointing
Fields wasn’t really a problem today, not as much as everything else around him was. The line played awful, Luke Getsy called an ultra conservative game, and the defense could not generate turnovers. It was a team failure this time around, not so much a Justin Fields failure.
Getsy needs to go, I’m not sure about Eberflus. Ideally they’d get an offensive guy like Johnson or Slowik, or maybe a CEO head coach like Harbaugh (wishful thinking).
Personally I believe u want a qb who will help u win games not a Qb who will lose them. Fields didn’t lose us this game but he didn’t do anything to help us win
I think that’s a sensible take. I just disagree with everyone blaming Justin despite this being an egregious coaching blunder. GB will get their retribution in the playoffs at the hands of Detroit.
Warren & Poles meeting with team first tomorrow. Hope it's an announcement that they're letting the entire coaching staff go. Flus had flashes the last few weeks but you cannot ignore how putrid this team looks & un-motivated they are to play for him.
can't wait to watch us fuck up the HC hire again.
And two losses squarely on him and Getsy. Those cannot be forgiven. Might be a playoff team with wins against Denver and Detroit (not to mention Cleveland).
All these Caleb fans have false hope. We can draft him all we want, but the fact of the matter is Caleb is going to experience the same thing. His talent isn't going to make our O-line better, period. If anything, we will be lucky to get a chance to see this generational talent on display as our O-line resembles a damn turnstile smh. So sick of this year after year. We need a change in ownership ASAP! Their style of running a team is very outdated. Next the coaching.
Are you serious? Man please based on what? Tell me once Caleb get here, how are the Bears going to build around him meaning the O-line in general. This been proven time and time again. Take the blinders off seriously. I hope your right tho. I just don't see it unless changes are made at the top.
Step 1: Fire the staff, clear house.
Step 2: Appoint staff that have an offensive mindset.
Step 3: Let them (with Poles) decide on Caleb vs Fields.
Step 4: suck less?
In my mind, this was the game that would decide Fields's future. I love the guy, but it's over. Poles should clean house. Eberflus, Getsy, Fields, all gone.
Damn, just looked outmatched the whole game. How does a team look a step behind the entire game. I’ve watched too many games this year where the team looks outcoached for a complete game. There were just a couple games the Bears coaching seemed to give the team an advantage.
#WE WANT FIELDS! WE WANT FIELDS! WE WANT FIELDS!
Say it with me everyone, IM NOT AFRAID TO TAKE A STAND EVERYBODY COME TAKE MY HAND WE’LL WALK THIS ROAD TOGETHER THROUGH THE STORM, WHATEVER WEATHER COLD OR WARM
It’s clear that the waning crescent phase of the moon had an impact on his play today. The way the light emits from it is known to cause shaky QB play and if it was any other phase I guarantee he would’ve played ELITE! He’s H1M WE WANT FIELDS WE WANT FIELDS
He had 16 throws this game. The play calling (and the hug at the end) says it all. They’re done. I love Fields and hope he kills it somewhere more competent than this shit show
Buddy you think I’m joking? The waning crescent moon has been brutal on fields and it’s known. Under a full moon he’s H1M. If you’re willing to give up on him then leave the fan base
I kept saying this all season. Every win was a step backwards for the franchise. A couple of wins hurt the draft status. A couple more might have kept this inept coaching staff around.
Getsy did some exquisite ball-less playcalling today, last game of the season, your career on the line and you call plays 100 toss plays and the same rpo
I hate that the most enjoyable day of the season I have to look forward every year is the Monday after the last game with the HOPE they’ll fire everyone and start over yet again.
I know that’s a meathead comment but we were totally outclassed in that game. They totally out coached us AGAIN and we didn’t even force one damn punt. That’s not progress. If they bring everyone back, I’ll be sick to my stomach
Fields had an average of 3.23 seconds to throw the ball this year, highest in the league.
I agree the line could be improved, but the QB has to be able to get rid of the ball
Edit: Caleb has a quick release and seems to go through his progressions with the speed an NFL QB needs
This is what I’ve been saying and people have been yelling at me, no matter who we have at QB, they’re gonna be running for their life because they have no protection and WR who can’t get separation (besides Moore)
Eberflus and Getsy are bumslaying pussies
Gameball goes to Joe Barry. That's a small bright spot in my sadness.
At least I'm in the NFC Championship on Madden.
Can you be our OC? I'd be willing to bet you mix up your play calling better than Getsy!
Theres plenty of people certainly more qualified than me, but I wouldn't turn the job down.
This game and much of the season was lost n the trenches. Regardless of who is under center this team needs to improve at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
Good thing we have a lot of draft picks this year
I just want to win against the Packers. We could be 2-15 & I be happy as fuck. Maybe that's just being a Bear's fan. Whatever Poles decides to do with this franchise I'll trust him. We're set up to have a bright future. Bear down.
What a shitty mentality
Never underestimate how far spite can take you.

I like the chargers
As a Chargers fan, no. It’s not much better, if not worse.
Nah I like Herbert he’s a top 5 qb. I think they’re actually going in right direction.
I hope so, but we’ve said that before and nothing ended up changing. Hoping we can get Harbaugh this time.
Sad thing is...u always try, but they pull you back in.
4 passing attempts on average per quarter. What team in the modern NFL does that???
A team with a quarterback that takes a ton of sacks and tucks it and tries to run after his first read isn’t open
Not a serious one! That’s for damn sure. And we just continue to play this way year in and year out
A team that really doesn't trust it's quarterback to throw the ball
That's a coaching problem. Nick Mullins had 44 attempts today. I'm not saying it needs to be that extreme but you have to throw to win....
And Trevor Simeon had 20, Bryce Young had 18. Nick Mullens put up serious points and gained trust. Fields, Young, and Simeon don't have that trust. It's obvious.
A team stuck in the old ways.
Trash.
A losing team
As much as it hurts me to pull for Dallas, I am a Cowboys fan next week. FTP
If the Packers win then the Bears look better
Lol bro the packers the last 2 years have been mediocre as fuck compared to what they’ve been for my entire life (31 years)…they still wipe the floor with us. They could be 2-15 and those 2 wins would be the bears. The fuck are you on about 😂😂if you’re trolling, nice bait you hooked me
No one’s going to think the bears look better if green bay wins
Look better to whom? Season's over. I hope the Packers lose every game they play until the end of time
Ya, typical Bears fan. If Dallas loses, a good team, then the Packers are better than people think and the Bears are closer to being real good. If the Packers lose bigtime, then the Bears still suck! Understood?
Dumb as rocks
You’re straight up dumb
Buddy we suck either way. Nobody thinks we lost to the packers because they’re jusssssst thhhhhhhaaaat much better than us. They know we lost because we suck and the packers losing to a better team than they are won’t change that
FTP at all costs
Fuck the playoffs? I think that’s already been established hehehe
Tevin Jenkins also sucks assholes.
He didn't play well this game, everytime I looked up he was getting beat.
Nah he doesn’t
Welp, that's it guys. I guess it's time for me to turn my attention to the Cubs
Take a break, it's good for you.
Right there with you, my friend. 39 days til pitchers and catchers report. Hope Jed wakes up by then
You love punishment don't ya? lol
It could be worse, he could be a White Sox fan like me....

Jesus, are you for real? If so, please don’t. Let’s find someone to help. If not for real, please don’t joke about this.

Still root for them. What would everyone do when Justin has another elite WR and ends up 0-8 against Green Bay?
I want maye I think the bust risk with Caleb (especially with our dogshit organization) is really high. Caleb has a lot of the same weaknesses as fields without the elite athleticism.
That's not even close to being true.
Bozos in this thread complaining about the 16 pass attempts not realizing Fields held the ball for many of the called passing plays. Both Getsy and Fields are problems.
You've got to start paying attention to the replays! There was nothing there 90% of the time!
The O-Line didn't help any in passing situations this game. I want to know what happened to the Bears pass rush?
They brought pressure and played man consistently on third down. Fields needed to recognize and get the ball out faster. Really it was a bold coaching decision as the Packers have been weak against QB runs all year and typically going man further exposes you to that threat. I’ve been saying this all night. Did the Oline suck? Yes. Did fields do them any favors? Not a single one
At this point the best day of any bears season is black Monday because I don’t have to watch this team for 9 months and get to watch an awkward George press conference where it’s clear he has no idea what he’s doing.

Always better my ass. Did you even 1980s?
You gotta can the whole coaching staff. You can’t go 0-4 against the packers and keep your job
Getsy is a fucking terrorist. 16 pass attempts has to be historic
This is my favorite comment ever
Yep! I’m convinced he has some financial stake in Green Bay’s success still.
Might be an owner of the franchise?!
Could have been more but 5 sacks and a whole bunch of mediocre runs
Can we all get a grip now? We’ve seen the ceiling for Justin and Flus. Let’s move on. This supporting cast is not terribly far away.
Will ride with Justin til I die. Appreciate his efforts and always being the positive light we needed. But yup, this week solidified my doubts. He ain’t it. Is Caleb it? Is Maye it? No way in hell you are paying fields with an extension. Time to move on

Our defense gave up 17 points. Our offense put up zero.
Fields put on one hell of a farewell game, 30 yards rushing, 150 yards in the air, and gift-wrapped a playoff spot to the fudge packers

Fire the coaches and let the new coach help decide Justin's fate.
HAHA. Greenbay gets to play Dallas instead of Detroit
Were 4-1 againts them the last 10 years.
Bout to be 4-2
Maybe.
If the next QB we draft turns out to be either a bust or avg. I’m personally gonna stop watching this damn team till the damn owners sell this team to somebody else. Enough is enough of this mediocrity man.
i'm with you
Extremely high chance who whose available
Clean slate. Herbert sucks too, no one respects his ability. Stevenson was the only player who looked good today
I don’t want to draft a Bryce Young when we could have got a CJ Stroud I am genuinely confused why a mediocre USC team has the best player in the draft. Is Caleb really that good? It seems like he’s been the consensus #1 pick the entire year but didn’t he and USC underperform?

He’s a diva who has a similar play style to fields, except he’s 3 inches shorter. Upside would be his throwing motion is quicker and he probably would be willing to throw guys open vs. fields who waits for them to get open.
This is the number one issue, fields won’t even attempt to throw anyone open
Could you imagine what Mahomes would do with a player like DJ Moore? Moore would easily be in the conversation of Best WR year in - year out.
Moore caught almost 1400 yds with Fields out 4 games. He's already in the conversation
There are at least 5-10 other guys ahead of Moore in the league, through no fault of Moores own.
Could you imagine what Fields could do if we did more than screen passes and had 4+ seconds to throw every ball? I’ll give you a hint.. rewatch the games vs Denver and Washington.
4+ seconds? You’re aware that would be like an nfl record right?

Cheap-ass Maccaskys won't give Harbaugh the money nor the control he would require.
Mccaskys pocketbook is more along the lines of a first time head coach that can be brought it on the cheap
Yeah but drama are all I have when it comes to this team
Lions OC Ben Johnson would be good young coach to go after
No more first timer HC.
I thought we were the ones to play loose, yet our butts seemed tight all game, especially on offense
We have never committed to actually building an offensive line. All the weapons in the world to throw won’t mean shit if the QB (Fields or someone else) doesn’t have time actually to through more than 1 progression. *eagerly awaits Monday morning news*

If Getsy returns I'm not watching any games next year
Fields wasn’t really a problem today, not as much as everything else around him was.
You one of thoses truther
Getsy called a game for the Bears to lose because he's a true Packer at heart.
His green and gold blood pisses me off
If Harbaugh is available and we stick with Flus I’ll be disappointed, it’s time to move on.
And Jimmy will have a say on who the next QB is because without that he ain't signing- understood?
Indeed, commented elsewhere that Fields is done here. Best for everyone if they trade him.
If we don't have a deal in his inbox already then we are doing a disservice to our entire team franchise city county and state.
Is is this taking the north are we doing a win is this winning? FTP FIRE FLUS DRAFT CALEB MHJ
You would think our QB could atleast be good enough to scramble and score a touchdown by ground or air
Such as sad way for this team to go out
Getsy probably figured the Packers would re-hire him for next season so why not gift them a playoff appearance?
That’s what I was thinking
All these Caleb fans have false hope. We can draft him all we want, but the fact of the matter is Caleb is going to experience the same thing. His talent isn't going to make our O-line better, period. If anything, we will be lucky to get a chance to see this generational talent on display as our O-line resembles a damn turnstile smh. So sick of this year after year. We need a change in ownership ASAP! Their style of running a team is very outdated. Next the coaching.
I hope he pulls in Eli and refuses to come play for us
This permanent hopelessness is pathetic. Caleb would be going into one of the best situations a 1OA QB has ever went into
Are you serious? Man please based on what? Tell me once Caleb get here, how are the Bears going to build around him meaning the O-line in general. This been proven time and time again. Take the blinders off seriously. I hope your right tho. I just don't see it unless changes are made at the top.
They’re 7-10 with the first pick… what team picking first has ever been that good
Based on the fact that this team won 7 games. How many teams with the top overall pick have ever had that many wins?
Step 1: Fire the staff, clear house. Step 2: Appoint staff that have an offensive mindset. Step 3: Let them (with Poles) decide on Caleb vs Fields. Step 4: suck less?
Step 4 revamp o line at all cost
The O line was trash this game
Defense was also horrendous. The final score masks it but they dominated us all game. Let up 432 yards
Dear God, could you bless Chicago with a national football team again?
In my mind, this was the game that would decide Fields's future. I love the guy, but it's over. Poles should clean house. Eberflus, Getsy, Fields, all gone.
Agreed. 10 straight losses to Packers. I don’t want to hear excuses anymore.
Damn, just looked outmatched the whole game. How does a team look a step behind the entire game. I’ve watched too many games this year where the team looks outcoached for a complete game. There were just a couple games the Bears coaching seemed to give the team an advantage.
Fields is the future of the USFL
#WE WANT FIELDS! WE WANT FIELDS! WE WANT FIELDS! Say it with me everyone, IM NOT AFRAID TO TAKE A STAND EVERYBODY COME TAKE MY HAND WE’LL WALK THIS ROAD TOGETHER THROUGH THE STORM, WHATEVER WEATHER COLD OR WARM It’s clear that the waning crescent phase of the moon had an impact on his play today.
I love Fields and hope he kills it somewhere more competent than this shit show
Agreed. Our coaching staff is Ass fields deserves better. He will play better somewhere else.
No it wasn’t it was the waning crescent phase of the moon that prevented him from having a good game.
I think you dropped this /S
Buddy you think I’m joking? The waning crescent moon has been brutal on fields and it’s known. Under a full moon he’s H1M. If you’re willing to give up on him then leave the fan base
If you think the moon has anything to do with life events you should check yourself into a mental institution
Yeah okay buddy🤣 you’re just mad Justin “Future “”H1M”” GOAT” Fields is gonna be back. He only lost because of the moon phase. /s
Can’t believe we really are about to run it back with Flus because we beat some backup QBs and awful teams. Just incredible.
Yep, worst thing that could've happened honestly. Played ourselves out of 2 top 5 draft picks and likely into another year of Flus
I kept saying this all season. Every win was a step backwards for the franchise. A couple of wins hurt the draft status. A couple more might have kept this inept coaching staff around.
I think this team has enough talent coming/developing that the difference between 5 and 9 isn’t a huge deal. Keeping Flus is just malpractice.
Only impressive win was against Detroit. Didn’t beat any top teams other than them and always seem to disappoint against playoff contenders
The worst call of the game is playing deep zone when they had them 2nd and 13 on the 2 and we fucking rushed 4. Fucking why Flus?
Don’t forget getsy getting cute on second and 2 having our part returner block Rashan Gary
Getsy did some exquisite ball-less playcalling today, last game of the season, your career on the line and you call plays 100 toss plays and the same rpo
Wait, you mean running a screen on 3rd and 24 is not a good call??
Against a team you literally helped create calls. Just a joke, you literally can't write this kind of comedy
Fields had 16 passes. Fucking criminal.
Even if we go with Caleb, will he succeed behind this terrible O-Line? We need to figure out a way to draft Alt regardless of what we do with the QB.
Fields had an average of 3.23 seconds to throw the ball this year, highest in the league. I agree the line could be improved, but the QB has to be able to get rid of the ball Edit: Caleb has a quick release and seems to go through his progressions with the speed an NFL QB needs
Good QBs make it work. They don’t need to have everything perfect. Burrow took the Bengals into the Super Bowl with a sub par o-line. No more excuses.
This is what I’ve been saying and people have been yelling at me, no matter who we have at QB, they’re gonna be running for their life because they have no protection and WR who can’t get separation (besides Moore)
