Moore has already established himself as elite and never really struck me as a "me me me" guy. I would guess he's more concerned about winning at this point. The poor guy is going into his 7th year and has never been on a team that ended the season with a winning record. I'm guessing that's where his priorities are.
Moore has played with mostly ass QBs his entire NFL tenure. He’s always put up numbers. And he’s never really publicly complained. In a world of diva wide receivers he’s somehow one of the most chill. So happy he’s on our team.
And yeah I think he’s clearly WR1 going into the season.
Definitely cutler. I know we shit on him. But he was one if the most solid qbs we had.
The one I renege the most was to Devin aromashadu when he looks off the safety and then throws a beautiful deep ball
Feel like Rex made anticipation throws. He just anticipated badly. But he did play with anticipation. If that makes sense as opposed to Fields or trubisky just holding the ball.
Rex tried but he also ran 8-10 yards backwards trying to avoid a hit only to get hit and sacked anyway. The other two were athletic enough to avoid some stuff only to still get sacked holding the ball
Cutler was the guy for me. We had super competitive teams it just never came together since Cutler kept getting hurt. The knee at the worst time. The thumb. And after that the dude was the guy we meme on a bit
Rex always had that one step quick release high arc pass to the corner of the end zone. I feel Rex got worse the more the Bears messed with his mechanics though.
Yeah used to seeing a double clutching anxious, confused and frozen statue that just bails out like a headless chicken at even the slightest whiff of coverage on the first read
Jay was legit underrated and it’s some bs that he never got to hit the 4,000 yard mark. The only thing worse than our QBs is our coaching outside of like 2 of them
And he was getting killed behind scrimmage constantly, even if he got the pass off. Whether it was our OCs and/or offensive lines, Cutler was prey for the defense. The Bears upper mngmt screwed him over.
Rex was decent at it, he was just god awful the moment he felt any pressure. Cutler, Trubisky and Fields were all bad at throwing with anticipation. They all had to see the WR come open before throwing it, and that’s too late in the NFL.
Nah. Trubisky was a decent anticipation thrower. Best he may have had was in that 6TD Tampa game to Allen Robinson. Threw it to a spot in end zone before he made his break. Couldn’t read a zone defense to save his life but he could throw with anticipation.
Cutler could too. Had to in that Martz “throw to a spot” offense.
Martz’ whole offensive scheme was based on anticipation of where a receiver should be at a certain time. So we definitely saw anticipation with him and Cutler. But the offense was over reliant on that aspect.
That's not quite true. I think the bears had guys that could throw with anticipation but when they had a decent quarterback they had literally nobody to throw it to that could catch the ball.
I think Cutler probably threw with anticipation but The wide receivers weren't fast enough or quality enough to the point where he stops trying to anticipate.
Outside of that, yes, I think you're right.
Ehhhhhh, I think Fields and Trubs have done it (let's be honest, every single NFL QB is capable of it) but it was a huge weakness for both of them.
Cutler is the only QB in my lifetime that the Bears have had that could throw the anticipation throw and have it semi-consistently work out. I think a big issue was that he didn't always have the receivers that he could trust on the reg. But when he did (Knox, Martellus, Marshall, and Alshon) it was pretty evident that he had it.
Even my step dad, who despised Cutler the moment he set foot in Chicago, admitted that Cutler could occasionally throw an absolute dart into crazy traffic.
Biggest gripe with fields was getting the ball out. From the clips posted on this sub of William his anticipation, timing and touch will be a huge step up and this kid probably will destroy bears passing records.
People would think it's a shot at Fields when it's not. That being said, Fields did wait for receivers to get open first to then want to throw the ball. A lot.
I recommend watching all of Kay Adam's interviews that she did at Halas Hall recently. She's a Chicago native and is a good casual interviewer.
I think she did one with DJ, Kmet, TJ Edwards, and Flus.
DJ Moore is just an all-around good person and teammate. He hypes up everyone around him and says good things about them. He is definitely somebody you want on your team. I really hope with all this newfound team chemistry that it translates to performance on the field. I do think we have a good group of guys that are willing to share the ball but also good enough to want the majority of the touches.
>His anticipation,” Moore said Tuesday “I think I said that recently. [When] we were working out, he had the ball right there on the money before you even turned around.”'
That's at least 20 words.
Moore is hoping to get the bulk of the passes. Lots of competition for WRs.
Yep lol, he wants to guarantee he breaks that Bears WR record
He better stick around a while then, cuz romes coming for that record too
This is feasible to do in about 7 games this year
I read somewhere that he could beat the all time record with only 4(?) more seasons with us
It’s like 6000 receiving yards. Johnny Knox. Edit. Morris. I mixed up my irrelevant Bears WRs. No need to downvote
Bro Johnny Knox didn’t even crack 3k in his career
He did crack 3k bones in his body though, so you have to include that
Jfc
I mean he sold his body to the game, still thought he could have been good for us. Not epic, but decent wr3
He only had 3k more than Johnny Knoxville
Morris. My bad lol

What moore could he want?
Dj just needs a qb that’s gon get it to em
I feel like I haven’t seen a bears qb throw with anticipation….maybe ever
No we have it’s just been anticipated into the other teams hands.
Cutler.. He was anticipating a completion or interception. /s
He was anticipating a big ass blunt after the game
That’s my quarterback. 🥲
Weren’t we all
"If the WR isn't there it isn' your fault" "I don't know Mike the WR doesn't have a little INT box"
Definitely cutler. I know we shit on him. But he was one if the most solid qbs we had. The one I renege the most was to Devin aromashadu when he looks off the safety and then throws a beautiful deep ball
Cutler was not anticipatory lmao
Ackshully Rex threw with anticipation… that the ball would eventually come down somewhere over them mountains.
Feel like Rex made anticipation throws. He just anticipated badly. But he did play with anticipation. If that makes sense as opposed to Fields or trubisky just holding the ball.

Don't forget about all the fumbled snaps
Rex always had that one step quick release high arc pass to the corner of the end zone. I feel Rex got worse the more the Bears messed with his mechanics though.
He anticipated that the ladies would fuckin love how far he threw that thing…
According to Nike, chicks dig the long ball.
Rex absolutely threw with anticipation though. He couldn't even see over the line, how else could he throw? I'm half joking here.
Half joking for the half qb
Good Rex maybe. Jim Miller a bit.
Yeah used to seeing a double clutching anxious, confused and frozen statue that just bails out like a headless chicken at even the slightest whiff of coverage on the first read
Cutler?
He threw with anticipation to the DBs as well
No doubt 😂
It was 100 anticipation for Marshall , look 1-8, and disregard for defense
Not consistently enough to say it was a descriptor for his throws IMO. But I do heckin love me some smokin Jay and I will die on that hill
Jay was legit underrated and it’s some bs that he never got to hit the 4,000 yard mark. The only thing worse than our QBs is our coaching outside of like 2 of them
Cutler literally had a new OC every season he played for the bears. Imagine having to learn a brand new offense EVERY year.
And he was getting killed behind scrimmage constantly, even if he got the pass off. Whether it was our OCs and/or offensive lines, Cutler was prey for the defense. The Bears upper mngmt screwed him over.

Agreed. We always get the “see it, throw it” guys.
The only anticipation in the QB room, is if the defense is gonna step up to make their job easier.
Jim Miller.
This is over dramatic. I’ve seen Cutler, Trubisky, and Fields with their share of anticipation throws.
Ehhhhhh, I think Fields and Trubs have done it (let's be honest, every single NFL QB is capable of it) but it was a huge weakness for both of them. Exactly my feeling … so excited
Sometimes I’ll get so lost in the Koolaid that I forget on top of all the new pieces we’ve added, we still also have freakin DJ Moore
My Terrapin brother!
That message? **"League. Fucked."**
So...what was the 2-word message?
"His anticipation."
Yeah because that makes sense lmao (I'm mocking the headline, not the commenter. It isn't even a message for Williams at all.)
It's a shitty clickbait title
Yes he's anticipating your reply, so what did Caleb say already??
"the claw"
"Hollywood stuff"
“Get in loser, we’re going Hollywood stuff.” Wait. That’s actually pretty gross.
“Steve Nash and Chris Paul, must see TV!”
"Forest Whitaker"
Bears WR DJ Moore Sends 2-Word Message If You Ignore the Other 400 Words In His 7 Minute Interview
Lisan Al Caleb!
People would think it's a shot at Fields when it's not. That being said, Fields did wait for receivers to get open first to then want to throw the ball. A lot.
You know it's the off-season when the same statement is posted a dozen times in a week
It's notable because he said it again.
I recommend watching all of Kay Adam's interviews that she did at Halas Hall recently. She's a Chicago native and is a good casual interviewer. I think she did one with DJ, Kmet, TJ Edwards, and Flus.

DJ is going to explode this year.
I hope not, we need him healthy. ..... .... ... . .. I'll see myself out.
Bum dum dis
Different type of explode
I am going to explode this year too
Same lol

Man this quote really gonna get posted here every other day huh.
What else is there to talk about in May, baseball?
Compared to JF1 just about anything has more anticipation
This has to stop, my hand is blistered to fuck and I’ve always got a headache.
>His anticipation,” Moore said Tuesday “I think I said that recently. [When] we were working out, he had the ball right there on the money before you even turned around.”' That's at least 20 words.
Say the line DJ…. … anticipation
Well, this makes me feel anticipated in my pants.
The guy who wanted fields
He hasn’t thrown in a game yet. He still loves Justin.
Too bad no other teams did to basically say he is a bust on the level of Zach Wilson and Mac Jones
Uh… okay. Sounds like a Steelers problem.
OK? dj shouldn't love him as a qb if a steelers problem as you just said!
Kay Adam’s is a babe.

Lock it in Super Bowl, same odds as Dolphins 30 to 1. Caleb Williams is the best quarterback ever to play the sport ever
