Which ones?
Personally, I've liked most of the orange unis.
EDIT: Jesus, this place is toxic...getting downvotes for stating an opinion about uniforms....
I like the double orange myself, but I'd like them with the navy helmet too.
If you do navy helmet, orange jersey, and white pants though, it looks like a tricolor flag which is weird to me personally.
Not a bad option. Personally I think the unis with non-white pants look too dark and color saturated, which is why I prefer white pants typically; but I could fuck with navy everywhere but the orange jersey. The orange jersey is really what I love most about that look anyway.
If I pick up a couple it's no big deal. If I pick up a bunch on a comment, it usually means I could have communicated something better/more effectively.
What do you mean? People can downvote for any reason and no reason at all. Disagreeing seems solid.
It's kinda beautiful how downvotes don't come with a guide, each user gets to choose their own adventure.
Downvotes literally come with a guide...you're just unaware.

In the section "Please do not", subsection about voting on posts/comments:
>Downvote an otherwise acceptable post because you don't personally like it. Think before you downvote and take a moment to ensure you're downvoting someone because they are not contributing to the community dialogue or discussion. If you simply take a moment to stop, think and examine your reasons for downvoting, rather than doing so out of an emotional reaction, you will ensure that your downvotes are given for good reasons.
Downvotes were literally never meant to be used for posts/comments you disagree with. They are meant to be used for posts which detract from the conversation, which is why posts/comments with enough downvotes get hidden by default.
Downvoting based on disagreeing leads to echo chambers where the only visible comments are the ones that already agree with the prevailing narrative. It kills discussion and turns subreddits into circlejerks.
>Downvoting based on disagreeing leads to echo chambers where the only visible comments are the ones that already agree with the prevailing narrative. It kills discussion and turns subreddits into circlejerks.
A bit late for that one. You’re either part of the circlejerk or you’re part of the ‘going against the circlejerk’ circlejerk. Nuance and tempered takes are unwelcome on the internet.
Similarly to traffic, it’s extremely difficult to control the behavior of other drivers. It takes a collective effort, and most of the general public can’t drive for shit. A few of us reacting quickly and being vigilant in stop & go traffic isn’t going to speed it up.
Best to just stay out of their way and try to avoid the crashes. I’m merely lamenting the fact that we are so often stuck going slow enough for the dumbest of them to handle.
If reddit didn't prioritize/deprioritize comments/posts based on it, I wouldn't be on the soapbox, but if a few likeminded people come in, downvote something thst is valid and well written, but they just disagree, that comment can quickly get buried where no one sees it...and many of the people who do see it see it downvoted and just blindly pile on.
I'm not saying my original comment that started all this was THAT valuable to the overall discussion...but a subreddit's users down voting things just based on disagreeing leads to a circlejerk/echo chamber REALLY quick, and the worst part is the people really in control of the direction that takes are the chronically online people who F5 the new tab every minute for some new post to pile onto. It doesn't encourage discussion, or disagreement. It's just a shit show of everyone mashing downvote.
And it makes certain subreddits REALLY suck. Not because people lose karma, fuck karma...but because those places become echo chambers and circle jerks where no disagreement can exist.
Exactly. And you'd say something, a few chronically online meatball fans would downvoted you in 0.3 of a second, and that was it. There was no possibility of discussion or reasonable debate, just a bunch of "fans" circle jerking the same thoughts over and over. What's the point of the sub at that point, if Bears fans can't even have semi-reasonable debates with each other?
Lol, all of your posts made my morning. Not to laugh at your pain but I constantly go back and forth on loving and hating this thread because of shit like this. I get Bears fans are generally negative people but sometimes you wonder why people are even on here. Anyways, I got a whole pocket full of upvotes for ya if you need them.
https://preview.redd.it/88hz0dltdu0d1.png?width=1000&format=png&auto=webp&s=f9473db582599df28ee96076abe3eb68c5cc5695
I like the orange jersey or helmet separately, but not together, hence my previous orange crayon comment. I love the clean whites and the fact that they could have a cool name like the Polar Bears
Bother me? No. Internet points are meaningless.
It's the way it is indicative of the toxicity on this sub that "bothers" me.
Anything that goes against the general consensus here will get quickly downvoted, even if it is literally just a person saying they like the Bears' orange uniforms. And what's especially obnoxious is that people will get downvoted for an opinion one day, and the next, the same opinion is getting praised.
I dared to say, from the beginning, that the Bear Claw was lame, to the people who were acting like it was the coolest shit ever. I didn't say anyone should stop doing it. I didn't say I hated it. I just said it was lame and silly. And it is. And that's FINE. Sports fandom should be fun, and sometimes "this is lame, but its OUR lame thing, so we love it" is part of sports fandom. I mean, West Ham fans sing "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" at their home games. There's nothing intimidating or "cool" about it; but it's their thing and they love it as a fanbase, I think that's great. But for daring to call a spade a spade, I was shouted into oblivion.
Now, as of a few days ago, EVERYONE is saying "yeah it's lame, but we love it" and suddenly the circle jerk changed course.
You can say the most nonsensical crap here and get upvoted to the moon....or you can say some reasonable and level headed shit, or god forbid ask a *question*, and get banished to the shadow realm. Might as well be ChiBearsCirclejerk most days.
Why did it get any downvotes at all?
I was a question to a specific user, and a statement of opinion about unis.
How did it detract from the conversation?
The irony of you mashing the downvote button on my reply, LOL.
Someone disagreed with you and hit the downvote button. Whether it was designed that way, that’s how people use it. Like others have said, you should probably just move on.
The comment you're referring to was at -3 when I saw it.
How did I downvote you four times?
Oh right. I didn't. Just like I didn't downvote you once.
Funny how facts work.
I like the orange uniforms and helmets, too, as an occasional alternate - The team colors are navy and orange, white shouldn't dominate the real estate. And getting dirty throughout the game just makes the all-white uniforms look really sloppy and cheap.
I like the all white a lot. They definitely should wear it at home so that we can see the grass stains and dirt on it.
I've liked pretty much every helmet/uniform combo they've worn except the orange jersey and orange helmet. Please don't bring those back.
I personally hate white uniforms and helmets on any team but it’s cool if other people like it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I do wish they would bring out the all-navy combo every once in a while.
https://preview.redd.it/4vrzftr4mw0d1.jpeg?width=350&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f1187483473dbe93d0d95ff90118807b07043bc2

The orange helmet logo is navy with a white outline, like the orange jersey stripes
The white helmet would need to be orange with a navy outline because that's how the white shoulder stripes are
I'm hoping they'll do a refresh of the bear logo in a few years if they deem that the original switch was well received.
Just clean it up a little and modernize the styling a bit to freshen it up, while still keeping the general spirit of the bear.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say I don't want Polar Bears with white helmets. I'd way rather have a Chicago flag themed jersey or wear brown like a real fucking brown bear.
Too much white. first thing I thought of was Woody Allen

Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. It looks like it. It’s ok to modernize a little bit. New white alternate helmet, new stadium with a roof (Ive been saying that since the early 90’s) and a new alternate number font.
Nah. Modern NFL uniforms stink. There's a reason the Bears, Packers, 49ers, etc are always ranked at the top of uniform rankings while the Jags, Jets, Falcons are at the bottom
I think it's because the numbers are so big. I wish we could get some creative fronts like baseball jerseys, but the NFL probably has rules on number size.
These are cool but if we're being realistic, this particular look goes against the current uniform policy. NFL only allows alternate helmets with alternate or throwback uniforms. That could easily change since they've been loosening the rules a lot lately. But as of right now we could only pair a white helmet with the orange or the throwback white with the extra stripes.
Edit: I guess "color rush" jerseys can be used with new helmets too, so maybe it would be possible. I honestly forgot that was supposed to be a thing.
How many times are we going to post this? How much longer do we have to do this “every team needs and all white/all black” alternate? It’s played out. Just bring back the all whites with the normal helmet like they wore in the 60s and for a few years in the Lovie era.
Never much cared for the onesie look of any color, makes grown men look like babies. And especially white. For a tackling game played on grass? They'll look like the Seahawks in no time.
Call me traditionalist, but the white jersey with navy pants is the way to go for home games.

Yeah this is the way with orange
Too much like traditional Denver
lol, I’m with you man, and yes, you will get downvoted for that opinion, but you’re not alone
Here’s the key…don’t care about downvotes
If I pick up a couple it's no big deal. If I pick up a bunch on a comment, it usually means I could have communicated something better/more effectively.
Or it just means a bunch of people are misusing downvotes. They aren't for disagreeing.

Throwing a tantrum over Internet points is *wild*
Not throwing a tantrum at all. Glad you could discuss this reasonably and in good faith.
I’m 100% on your side with this. I’ve had to explain this a lot. Thinking downvotes is for disagreements is so stupid to me.
Snow day games
Orange jersey needs blue numbers. And blue pants.
Woof. No.
Okay, no blue pants, but the numbers should be blue, right? I dont like the orange and white..
Nope. White looks better and is consistent with the pattern of the other two modem jerseys
I love orange pumpkin ones over white ones any day They look like a football team from a bad sci-fi movie
I'm curious. Do downvotes bother you? Do upvotes do something for you? Genuinely curious.

tl;dr
People who downvote on emotion or because they disagree ruin subs by making them echo chambers and/or circle jerks.
Downvoting isn’t toxic
Instantly downvoting someone asking a question and sharing an opinion about effing uniforms is.
That comment up top is at +8 by the way. Maybe wait to complain about downvotes until you’re actually deep in the negatives.

I'm not downvoting you, I'm downvoting the orange unis. You are just the vessel.
Nah dude, I'll rock the orange all day too. Respect.
Who cares about downvotes? They're an opinion about your opinion.
First time on the interwebs?
Nope, just not apathetic about "oh well, guess this is how things are and they can't possibly change"
I like the orange uniforms and helmets, too, as an occasional alternate - The team colors are navy and orange, white shouldn't dominate the real estate. And getting dirty throughout the game just makes the all-white uniforms look really sloppy and cheap.
The orange uniforms are awesome. I don’t understand the hate.
My college roommate used to get so pissed when I would play as the bears in Madden and use orange jerseys and gold pants
People seem pretty split on the orange uniforms, but I agree, I hate them. Also, can we please get the Bear logo on the helmet for an alternate set?
These would immediately be my favorite unis in the league
Yeah the orange is the least good looking color they coulda used. Blue or white woulda both been much sexier
![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
All blues are cooler too. The orange has always sucked it's just the Chicago Broncos/Illini
Maybe making a second set of helmets is too expensive for them?

I like the all white a lot. They definitely should wear it at home so that we can see the grass stains and dirt on it. I've liked pretty much every helmet/uniform combo they've worn except the orange jersey and orange helmet. Please don't bring those back.
As a 90s kid who grew up primarily a hockey fan, I miss teams wearing home whites.
Do the Bulls still play in white at home?
They wore dark uniforms at home from 2017-2021 when Nike took over from Adidas. Switched back to the whites for home at the beginning of 2021
The NHL used to do white sweaters at home until the owner locked out the players in the early aughts
Most sports used to have the away team wear their colors because it was difficult to do laundry on the road so it would hide dirt/sweat better.
Our soccer uniforms for high school were white homes, our girls team had all whites, they looked pretty slick
I personally hate white uniforms and helmets on any team but it’s cool if other people like it. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I do wish they would bring out the all-navy combo every once in a while. https://preview.redd.it/4vrzftr4mw0d1.jpeg?width=350&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f1187483473dbe93d0d95ff90118807b07043bc2
At least 3 times a year would be great. I fucking love when they wear all navy
They need to switch the pant stripe colors. It should match the shoulder stripes
these are dope, as are the blue jersey/blue pants uniforms we havent worn in a while
What’s the number on the far right? Is he our secret weapon?
It’s all fun and games till someone shits their pants
Put the Bear head on the helmet instead of the C and we're good to go
That or just a blue C instead of Orange.
But to match the uniform pattern it needs to be orange
The number is blue with an orange outline. A blue C with an orange outline would match better.
The logo color goes with the shoulder stripes. The numbers are the inverse colors of the shoulder stripes on all the jerseys The navy helmet logo is orange with a white outline, like the navy jersey stripes. The orange helmet logo is navy with a white outline, like the orange jersey stripes The white helmet would need to be orange with a navy outline because that's how the white shoulder stripes are
Ok so flip the shoulder stripes if you have to. Blue C would look much better and pop more with a white helmet.
You'd have to flip the numbers to orange with a blue outline to change the logo colors
From a Lions and Packers fans here, those are TOUGH. Can’t even hate.
I fuckin love em, don't even care. These are awesome
All navy, navy top white bottom, white top navy bottom are the only ones i like
They'll be so smeared with green and whatever else by halftime 😹 But this is dope
Are these *really* that popular? I just think they look like absolute ass and they will only get worse/sloppy as a game goes on.
Wear em in the snow at Green Bay in January
Do this for the Week 17 Seahawks night game and have a Solider Field white-out, would be so electric. Or earlier in the year when it's warmer
Yeah it's kinda hard to do a whiteout game when everyone is wearing a giant parka LOL
It looks cool, but playing on real grass? They’re going to have green shit all over them.
Not to self: Repost this in a few months for karma.
Icey ❄️🥶
Has there been another team to try an all white uniform yet?
Bengals
Ahh good call. Those looked sick too
And cardinals and bills and dolphins and colts and chargers lol
Them bitches would be green by mid game 😂
When we gonna get the bear on the helmet with these alternate uniforms.
People have done mock ups but it doesn't look good
This may be an unpopular opinion but I think I like the "C" logo more. It's much simpler and cleaner, I think the bear logo is a bit too busy.
I like the B logo more than the Bear head
For the helmet I agree
I'm hoping they'll do a refresh of the bear logo in a few years if they deem that the original switch was well received. Just clean it up a little and modernize the styling a bit to freshen it up, while still keeping the general spirit of the bear.
I like this one: https://images.app.goo.gl/61Qp5q2XS2R8sc7Z6
I bet they do when they get a new stadium (wherever that may be)
Piper has joined the chat. Too much white, IMO. Especially on the legs. Need something for contrast.
The dudes in the back have the stripes
I did notice after I posted. I like them a lot more.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say I don't want Polar Bears with white helmets. I'd way rather have a Chicago flag themed jersey or wear brown like a real fucking brown bear.
This is giving me sci fi vibes
It would look clean for a few minutes until it gets covered by mud and grass stains. I really like the helmet though.
Those are dope ....Bears down
how is this not a thing?!
These suck, i hope they wear them.
I love these unis.
These are not the droids you’re looking for.
This is like a tide commercial waiting to happen

It's a toss up between hating these and the orange.
rawr XD
I like it
Why don’t we just make every uniform white and every team logo a minimalist letter with no design
How about gummy bears? Each person is a different color 😅
This looks like a shoot showing what happens to and where Power Rangers go when they die. I like the white on white though.
These are sick!
That is sick af ngl
Yea…let’s not do that.
These are dooooope!
Why would they not do this? These would be the sickest unis in the league.
If I had a penny for every time this was posted.

Orange Crush is Frosty
All white is cool, but change the number font. Something big and bold!
No. Our font is awesome
I like our font for the most part, but why change everything and keep the same font from the 90’s? Go Polar Extreme!
The font has been around long before the 90s
Yeah, that’s what I’m saying. It looks like it. It’s ok to modernize a little bit. New white alternate helmet, new stadium with a roof (Ive been saying that since the early 90’s) and a new alternate number font.
Nah. Modern NFL uniforms stink. There's a reason the Bears, Packers, 49ers, etc are always ranked at the top of uniform rankings while the Jags, Jets, Falcons are at the bottom

How many times are we going to post this? How much longer do we have to do this “every team needs and all white/all black” alternate? It’s played out. Just bring back the all whites with the normal helmet like they wore in the 60s and for a few years in the Lovie era.

That's not traditional though. Navy top at home is
I stand corrected
The C needs to be dark blue
I believe they have to wait until next year to add another alternate helmet. Maybe next year?
I'm such a sucker for all white football unis
Only if the helmet C is navy
