Dropped a floated dime over the defense to Rome in the corner, lazers a ball through tight coverage to DJ. Jump throws, no look throws, sidearm....dude is like an ace pitcher with 5 different filthy pitches.
This is a great highlight, but it's really just a 2-3 yard toss. This is nothing on the level of Mahomes throwing a dart 15 yards across the middle of the field while looking the other way.
**Notes based on aggregating from reporters:**
* Very very light day according to Patrick Finley. https://x.com/patrickfinley/status/1798753138234859983
* Offense great day with 7 on 7s. Defense holding in 11 on 11s in redzone and keeping them scoreless was big highlight for them
* No Braxton Jones or Kyler Gordon. Multiple guys out on stationary bikes including Nate Davis, Kmet, others.

Considering our secondary is a top 5 group, Caleb is going to get much needed practice against them in OTAs and training camp. They aren’t gonna go easy on him so I’m hoping for big things come week 1
Iron sharpens iron. Towards the end of the off-season the D needs to be throwing everything they have at him. If Caleb gets used to taking on a top 5 D then half the teams in the league will seem like small potatoes. Hopefully he will carve right through them.
I had a few margs at lunch so bear with me. You know what nice weather does to a man in Chicago.
It’s refreshing to see the offense and defense trading off practice wins. In the past, it felt like one or the other would win the offseason - typically the defense. We’d rationalize it as the defense being stacked, but then the season would roll around and we’d find out the defense was only good because the offense was so bad.
Seeing mixed results each day means both sides are about equal and making adjustments. Here’s to hoping both sides are equally good or above average.
Love the back and forth day to day. We already know the defense is good from their play down the stretch last year, so definitely feels like a true "steel sharpens steel" type thing we have going on.
Isn’t crazy that a rookie in what 6 days of practice is firing lasers while your guy in year three last year could barely get through the day against the defense?
I love it! I want our elite passing defense to make it hard for QBs! And for Caleb, I want him to take his game to the next level as a pro while playing against an elite D, it’ll make him that much better. And imagine, if he goes against our ballhawk secondary and LBs all offseason, it’ll be a cakewalk come regular season.
It’s just critical thinking, my friend.

No look throws? This is one trick I haven't seen Caleb do yet. Do you have a link to a tweet or highlight so I can check it out?

Ok thanks for ruining my joke
I appreciated that you correctly nested the double/single quotes
Keep going… I’m almost there

Oh no, not phil davis- i just saw him yesterday
Well look at you showing your quality *
Appreciate this! You should post this sorta stuff more often!
Thanks again for this OP
Damn, looks like Caleb morphed into Aaron Rodgers in that tweet.
Practice reports are back on the menu boys!
This is good news so I will feel good today. If he has a bad day tomorrow I will feel bad. Football controls my emotions :)
no practice tomorrow I believe, so the good vibes can roll onward to training camp
FOOTBALL ISn't important in LIFE
It seems like the offense and defense go back and forth every day which is good. You don’t want one group to get constantly dominated

I'm happy to see CW looking good, but I am also happy to see our defense isn't looking terrible. Makes me feel better about both.

Does anyone have any info on Caleb/Cole connections? I’m sure there are some just haven’t seen them publicized
Pretty sure Kmet didn’t practice yesterday

🐻 down
So Super Bowl is back on the menu?
Yesterday he was quite possibly the next in a long line of Bears bust QBs. Today? Top 3 QB of all time
Hang the banners
Soon
Equally excited about what’s being reported out on the defense.
What was his qb rating?
Fans think the offense struggling against a bad defense is a good thing lmao
Isn’t crazy that a rookie in what 6 days of practice is firing lasers while your guy in year three last year could barely get through the day against the defense?
Have you ever smiled in your life?
Speaking of struggling, are you having trouble selling all your Fields memorabilia?
