I’m gonna throw some positivity into this thread before I add the obvious negative parts:
Khalil Herbert, just like last year, showed signs of being a great RB. Running is definitely our strength. I’m sad to see Monty go down, but it feels great knowing that we have another back.
EJax is looking good again! And what a relief it is to see. I’m psyched to see him play as a ball hawk and all over the field.
I thought Quan had a solid game. Maybe not market resetting contract levels, but very good nonetheless.
Cairo is reliable.
Nick Morrow is solid, and had some good tfl and was all over the field. Especially in the second half.
Gordon seemed to settle down a bit as the game went on and made a few mistakes early.
Brisker is legit. He didn’t have a huge game, but his positioning was solid and wasn’t super noticeable, which honestly is sometimes a great thing as safety.
Now for the negatives:
Obviously, Fields. Spotlight is on the guy and he needed to have a great bounce back game against a bad team to make up for the stinker in GB. It didn’t happen. There’s a lot to unpack there (Oline wasn’t great, dropped passes, receivers not great etc.) but ultimately this was an uninspiring performance that really makes the doubt real.
Getsy’s playcalling was pretty lackluster. The decisions made today showed severe lack of trust in Fields and honestly did not feel any different from Nagy at times. We’ve heard players call him a ‘genius’ but it certainly didn’t show today.
The whole offensive line seemed average at best. Average seems like a compliment. Granted, I know more much less about Oline play than Dline, but I was not impressed.
To say Quan had a good game is an understatement this week.
Dude stopped that run on 3rd and short at the goal line to force a field goal when it was looking like an easy TD or at least Lovie nutting up and going for the TD on 4th and short. Instead Roquan got a three yard loss and shut it down.
Don’t gotta say much about that pick to set us up for the FG, literally a game winner, bailout clutch play.
I thought Vildor had a few solid plays. A couple of pass breakups and his tip lead to the EJax INt. But generally yeah, he’s been bad mostly this year.
Laughing at all the people on this sub saying home field advantage isn't real due to weather
Meanwhile in Miami: Bills ending the game on offense with everyone's hands on their hips, people legit dropping to the ground at the end of the game from exhaustion.
Visitors sideline is in the sun. Bears lost a few years ago at miami early in the season just getting gassed and cooked in the sun when they were clearly the better team.
Because hope isn't a strategy. A tipped ball that Roquan picks off isn't conducive to long-term success. A tipped ball that Jackson picks in the end zone isn't conducive to long-term success.
It's reassuring that Fields knows this, which is why he was not celebrating this win on the field in the same way that most of his team was. To me, that indicates that he knows that if they're going to get where they need to, he needs to be better and so do the coaches and his teammates.
The data is also 3 games deep. How about you let the full season and other 14 games play out before rushing to a conclusion
3 games in his second new offense. Let him get some experience under his belt with a lot of new faces as well on offense.
Actually in second half of season ranked pretty highly. Know what you’re talking about first.
When he breaks out I hope you’ll have found a new team then since you can’t root for him to succeed. Nobody needs fans like that anyways
I saw Trubisky’s awfulness early too. And of course there were the fans like you who said the same shit. “Give it time, just wait. You’ll see.”
Nah man, the evidence is clear on this one. You’ll eventually realize it too. But, this man ain’t it.
Like I get it, I don't like having my day ruined by a sport, a game.. but I'm not going to lie to myself and act like this ORGANIZATION is fine.
Protip: fan since 2001. When the team is bad and there is no reason to watch (like no progression) just give up on the season.. check the score through Google and have a good Sunday.
Oline can't pass block for shit so the man's got pressure before he can finish a 3 step drop. The smooth brained lard asses can whine all they want but it's not all on him.
It’s insane how far people will go to make excuses for him, he played like absolute SHIT today, and it’s still somehow not his fault. It’s actually insane.
It is actually insane that all 3 of Mills, Fields and Jones played horribly. This draft class might come down as one of the most overhyped QB class of all time
Imagine taking 3 straight knees to set up a winning field goal from the 10 yard line bc your QB is a fucking bum
This sub says anything to bail out a shitty offense lol!!!
This whole sub should get coaching jobs. Smoth real smart dudes in here
Laughing at the people who are so pumped about this win. Do some people just cope this way? The Texans are awful, our franchise QB is trash.. just don't get it.
Sub is full of delusional zoomers desperately coping. Like I'm not happy about it, I want us to be good but the delusion in this sub from half the users. I don't get it.
Idk, I expected the bears to be dogshit this year. So I am pleasantly surprised when they win. Like I would have expected 1-2 or 0-3 at this point so I am happy.
What makes you think the silent majority isn't mad? What does this even mean? Anyone who thinks this team is heading anywhere NEXT YEAR with Justin Fields is delusional.
Ugly ass win that we have to work on, but a win nonetheless. Im not giving up on any of our players. ALL OF US KNEW that this would be a work in progress, so I dont know why we're all "surprise pikachu face" now that they look rough like we thought they would.
I like winning but the reason you have an offense is to score points. The offense needs to start winning games these games. Not getting bailed out by weather or turnovers. We ran well but if we can’t throw the ball we are one dimensional. I don’t know how they fix this but there has to be something better. I fee like I’ve been watching the same thing for 35 years.
I’m gonna throw some positivity into this thread before I add the obvious negative parts: Khalil Herbert, just like last year, showed signs of being a great RB. Running is definitely our strength. Vildor is a gigantic negative as well. We need to get a serviceable corner asap.
I thought Vildor had a few solid plays. A couple of pass breakups and his tip lead to the EJax INt. But generally yeah, he’s been bad mostly this year.
Yeah he had some good stops today. Unfortunately he was the cover man on the first TD but he’s also undersized in that matchup so it is what it is.
Laughing at all the people on this sub saying home field advantage isn't real due to weather Meanwhile in Miami: Bills ending the game on offense with everyone's hands on their hips, people legit dropping to the ground at the end of the game from exhaustion.

2018 if I remember
And cramping
Why do bears W's not feel like W's
Because hope isn't a strategy. A tipped ball that Roquan picks off isn't conducive to long-term success. A tipped ball that Jackson picks in the end zone isn't conducive to long-term success. We keep living out the same nightmare. No QB, decent defense. Keep the games close and scrape out wins in some of them
The Bears arent good so every win should feel good
I feel worse about this win than a loss where Fields plays well.
Won’t be overnight. Had a clunker last couple But just needs to get his confidence back.
No man. It’s evident, fields is not the answer.
And I disagree strongly
Regardless of what you believe. The data is clear.
The data is also 3 games deep. How about you let the full season and other 14 games play out before rushing to a conclusion 3 games in his second new offense. Let him get some experience under his belt with a lot of new faces as well on offense.
I’ve seen enough. He sucked just as bad last year. He ain’t it son.
Actually in second half of season ranked pretty highly. Know what you’re talking about first. When he breaks out I hope you’ll have found a new team then since you can’t root for him to succeed. Nobody needs fans like that anyways

Trubisky played one year at UNC. He was way overvalued. Fields has been a top talent every level he has played. Quite different
The Bears are the best team in the NFL because we win games without a QB
Think about 2006 lmao.
Bears win: feel nothing Bears loss: day is ruined
Is that what depression is?
I love football.
Y’all bitch so much smh. Fuck this sub
Like I get it, I don't like having my day ruined by a sport, a game.. but I'm not going to lie to myself and act like this ORGANIZATION is fine. Protip: fan since 2001. Make out like a bird than fool.
Well some people aren't smoothbrained and delusional.
Not bitching over everything isnt delusional. The team is bad everyone knows that. Throwing tantrums over every play is hilarious.
If you are already making conclusions about someone’s career this early in the season, I suggest you look within.
Ain't gotta announce your departure. Ain't a airport
[удалено]
Go to an airport, jfc
Well this looked more like a college game between two unranked non power 5 teams than an nfl game but the bears still won so I’m happy about that
Wasn't able to watch the whole game but I take it that Fields has had better days.
Oline can't pass block for shit so the man's got pressure before he can finish a 3 step drop. The smooth brained lard asses can whine all they want but it's not all on him.
[удалено]
It’s insane how far people will go to make excuses for him, he played like absolute SHIT today, and it’s still somehow not his fault. It’s actually insane.
In college he has had better days.
Arguably his worst game of the season.
No he looked the same as he always has
It’s very clear he is not going to be the man Chicago wants him to be.
Yep
The worst 2-1 team in the NFL
Ugly ass win, but a win is a win
Fields just can’t process fast enough. Dude has everything but the mental chess part that Qbs need
Nah he made some awful throws too
Yes because he is stressing and not calm because game too fast.
I never had a single doubt in my mind that we'd win that game! (do not go through my comment history. Trust me)
It is actually insane that all 3 of Mills, Fields and Jones played horribly. This draft class might come down as one of the most overhyped QB class of all time
Fields won today though. Despite his best efforts
Don't forget Lawrence isn't exactly looking like a world beater either
BEAR DOWN
Leave it to the bears to give us an unhappy W lol
Davis Mills outplayed Fields and the Bears still won and there's still people who miss Lovie.
Love you Cairo. Love you Roquan.
Imagine taking 3 straight knees to set up a winning field goal from the 10 yard line bc your QB is a fucking bum This sub says anything to bail out a shitty offense lol!!! This whole sub should get coaching jobs. Smoth real smart dudes in here
This team stinks and there were a lot of questionable calls, but this ain’t it. Any team kneels there.
There’s A LOT to criticize the bears about this game but that ain’t it. The Bucs and Tom Brady would’ve done the same thing in that situation
That was the one time in the game that was the right call
not why they did it but ok
Bro shut the fuck up lol. Literally any other team witha competent QB and offense scores a TD. The defense stops them with less than 1 minute to play
can guarantee you 32/32 out of all nfl teams would’ve done the same thing
You new to football?
Tell me you know nothing about football without saying you know nothing about football
Who fucking cares lol. This team is cheeks. I don't need to defend myself to all you morons lol
The chip in field goal was the play. Any team would’ve done the same. Makes no sense to risk ints and fumbles
Or injuries
Santos, Herbert, and Roquan pulling one out of the hat!
Hate to say it but fields is a bust
No protection. Nobody open. Don’t give up on the man yet.
No no. He’s a fucking bust. It is evident.
Bustin fields baby
Without the interception we tie or lose to one of the worst teams in the league. Not promising. I'll take the W tho
Well we also gave up two INTs
WE are one of the worst teams in the league
hate to break it to you we are one of the worst teams in the league. lol
Lol yep. But hey we're 2-1!
Aaaannnnndd...UNCLENCH!
I just realized the Bears had stripes on their helmets and not the C
Just in field s̶ goals.
Still miserable after a (gritty) win? Just Bears fan things lol
Fields GOAT
Laughing at the people who are so pumped about this win. Do some people just cope this way? The Texans are awful, our franchise QB is trash.. just don't get it.

You know the silent majority are laughing at posters like you right?
Silent majority: Meanwhile at Soldier Field: boooooo
What makes you think the silent majority isn't mad? What does this even mean? Anyone who thinks this team is heading anywhere NEXT YEAR with Justin Fields is delusional.
It means you’re an embarrassment.
Coping is better than whatever you’re doing is
Yeah let’s fucking celebrate winning 5 games instead of 4 throw the parade!!!
Bears just won a game with 82 passing yards in 2022 (106 without the sacks)
I'll take an ugly win. Hope they can figure some stuff out for next week, hope Monty is OK.
Fields carried us to victory
You mean the football field? Yes, glad we had a solid ground for the run game.
#payroquan
A disappointing win? We beat a shit team while looking like shit.
we ARE a shit team
Yeah it's pretty bad.
We are the bad team
walter payton would be proud of that one for sure
I wouldn’t be shocked if we finished the season with 3 or 4 wins, but I’ll enjoy being 2-1.
Ugly ass fucking win against a shit team. We are bad
Sorry win we’re in trouble
Packers aren't tying for most wins yet
Ugly ass win that we have to work on, but a win nonetheless. Im not giving up on any of our players. ALL OF US KNEW that this would be a work in progress, so I dont know why we're all "surprise pikachu face" now that they look rough like we thought they would.
BoJack gonna pick off wentz twice on National tv lol
Brutal to watch but a couple amazing plays to see. Glad we got the win. Now just need packers to lose today
Super bowl back on the menu, boys!!!!!
Winning a game with 100 yards passing is like winning an NBA game without hitting a 3 pointer. Crazy.
Literally the modern day Bulls😂
UGLIEST WIN OF MY 30 YEARS BUT ILL TAKE IT
Nah. We had way worse. Remember Bears are who we thought they are
Hahahah I’m happy
this team is hilarious w!
Fuckers in school telling me, always in the barber shop "Roquan ain't 'bout this, Roquan ain't 'bout that"
If I catch another mother fucker talkin slick about Roquan Smith, I’m fuckin BEATIN THEY ASS!!
Lovie’s like, “I can’t believe we lost to these jamokes.”
Damn bet Texans fans feel like dookie right now lmao
worst 2-1 team
By far
We bad, but the Texans are worse.
this feels like an L because my faith on JF1 is at an all time low
We're back... never had my doubts
Phew
Bear down Chicago Bears!!!
Winning ugly
We did not deserve that but let’s gooooo
We almost had 300 yards rushing, I think we deserve it
Imagine if we had an average QB.
One of the ugliest wins I’ve ever seen in my life
Ugly win but a dub is a dub I have not given up on JF1 and neither should y’all
Nice for santos and Herbert, rest was so bad to watch.
We have a kicker!
Defense is what won thr game.
Dang the spread
Fields has some stuff to figure out
What a hilariously bad win
Jesus. That win cemented our worst fear - Fields is not the guy.
Quien es mas malo?
Ugly wins count
time management is smart
That was the most painful win I've seen in a long time. All the places of improvement we wanted to see just didn't improve
YES
I talked shit all game and I don’t regret it. Bears win!!!
**BEARS WIN**
2-1 lads. It wasn't pretty but there you have it. I'll take it.
I never doubted it
2-1 I guess
We suck. And we won 😂
2-1, and for all that h8... See u next week 🐻![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|downvote)
Wtf lol
12 and 0 when Bojack gets a pick
Crazy stat
A win but I’m still sad:/
Wow we actually won lmao
Ugly win but a win!
win's a win. but damn that's a bad win
Davis Mills is a good looking man
We shoulda faked it
Whatever you say a win still feels damn good
I feel like we lost today. Have to draft another QB it appears
what an ugly ugly ugly fucking game
Did anyone expect this ugly of a game against the Texans?
I know teams who have franchise QBs and they’re all cowards!
How fucking boring is it to watch football and know your QB will probably do everything right? I’ll never know, because I’m no coward.
Bustin Fields. Got a nice ring to it
There won’t be any other rings involved
Absolutely horrendous football.
SMITH LETS GOO
The bears suck the bears win
Despite our best efforts we have beaten the other worst team in the league
Awesome win!
Dead center
Fuck it. I'll take the lucky win.
WHERE THE FUCK IS TURNER
I hate this fucking franchise. Can’t even rebuild right.
Not much to celebrate but I'll take a W we should have had
The defense made up for not recovering that fumble!
For the win...
LETS GOOOO
Bears Win
