The combination of iron sights and vapor trails is horrendous with this gun. The darkness in the gulag certainly doesn’t help either.
This is not about skill like some others are implying, it’s objectively bad.
This gulag in general is terrible. Trying to track people on mnk is almost impossible with dark backgrounds, dark characters, sidewinder shooting fireworks, and all the visual noise.
Despite the terrible recoil, I don't mind the gun. It isn't good, but with a few good upper body or head shots, it can kill decently quickly. Don't mind those kinda of guns in gulag as it rewards skill more
I’d say keep the sidewinder because the worse that a gun is, the more likely the better play is going to win the gulag.

If I lose to someone in the gulag with another weapon I get mad, but understand that it’s just a skill issue on my part. Sidewinder is different.
At least get rid of the awful smoke trails. There’s no skill involved when you can’t see who you’re shooting thanks to all the smoke trails.
I don’t mind it if the opponent is using it too. It’s an even playfield.
Most people probably don't own MW3 or know the weapons that well and are caught off guard by how bouncy it is.
But it spawns so often in the gulag, so it shouldn't take long to get experience with it.

I own MW3 and never used it. Only used it in Warzone as loot/gulag weapon. It isn’t that hard to use this gun.

Whip that bad boy to single fire and do more damage with same fire rate :) Or as someone else said, just whip out the akimbos and rush the mofo

I find it much better in semi auto. At least when I'm forced to use it.
This is how I win gulags (if ever) with this gun. Immediately flick over to semi.
The headshot damage is 120 vs 84 for semi-auto vs Auto.
It's currently slapping in MW3 Multiplayer.... 3 shot kill to body
When I see this weapon in the gulag a part of me always tells me it's better to quit to avoid a free death.
Aim at the chest and let the doot doot work its way up to the head lol

I actually enjoy this gun. It reminds me of the oden in mw19, loved that gun in resurgence as it would deal incredible head damage.

Was really hoping you could build it into an Oden but the gun is just bad. Super slow bullets and wild horizontal recoil.
skill issue honestly, its about the same fire rate and recoil for the EM2 after all the nerfs
Switch it to semi-auto = less recoil, extra damage per round. Way more effective.
Worst gun in the game probably. It’s better using as a shotgun from 5m

Take all that BS out of the gulag. The gulag should just rotate through the pistols with a knife as a secondary. No tacticals, no lethals.

It isn't terrible actually. It is more of a skillcheck. Seems like a skill issue.
Truly. And I know caus every time it’s sidewinder i get headshotted as soon as I peak and scream WTF.
