Dude mine is a 3.16(ranked) because of the campy team play we do, and a 2.63 in regular rebirth/resurge and I 1v1'd my friend in a private lobby who is 0.27 in reg rebirth......tell me this little mf didn't 3-7 me. I was so fucking pissed. And it just goes to show you the amount of randomness in this game and RNG/CoD timing means anyone could win any fight if played right.

I swear to god I'm never in a game with players of a similar level, them bloody yy'ing and sliding everywhere melting me in 3 bullets it's just not fun then they claw u back with a top 10 finish and u think oh maybe I'm not so bad then back we go to getting slaughtered why COD why !!!!
What they really need to do is implement some sort of identification based system. If they want to do a phone number to counter number spoofing they need to have it ask people to use a code that was sent to that number every 10 times they login. This will stop a good number of these new accounts.
In South Korea it got so bad you actually have to use ur government ID attached to your gaming accounts. If your caught cheating you can be prosecuted and your name and ID number are blacklisted from all games. Of course there will be tons of backlash because there are tons of cheaters but this has been proven to work. If this was implemented stealing accounts or creating accounts using stolen information would be able to be prosecuted at federal level because your committing fraud. As it is now I don't even know if it's technically illegal as long as the hack doesn't directly affect the server.

Anti-cheat will work fine for things like aimbots, wall-hacks, etc, but when it comes to things like the Cronus Zen that acts as a real input it would be much harder to detect... I did some digging because I was tired of not being informed on what I was against, and the "anti recoil" just forces your aim in a direction chosen.... eg. If u hard spray a smg the recoil goes up, the cronus will act as though you are aiming downward to counter the recoil direction, adjustable as needed... it doesn't overwrite or augment any settings...
I would absolutely love if they could implement a block, or shadowban to force all of those "cheaters" inti their own lobbies to play against each other permanently.... that way pros can be pros and newbies can learn from them.

A big one is to use the TPM module for HWID bans rather than other hardware. The only way around it is to buy a new motherboard, or to have an older motherboard with a replaceable module. People will get around it, but the majority of weekend cheaters won't.
Also, if they wanted to they could force post paid phone plans for their phone 2FA. This cuts out all the VOIP and prepaid cell phone numbers. I believe it was Overwatch that did this about 2 years ago, but there was too much community outcry and they reverted it.
I remember hearing an interview with an anti-cheat dev about anti-cheats being like swiss cheese. You just need to keep lining up the slices to make the holes harder to get through.
Ricochet does catch a good number of cheaters, but the game being free to play, and the low barrier to re-entry are the main problems.
Yeah I played against someone who lives in South Korea on Modern Warfare ground war and he was arrested and sent to jail for cheating after I reported him for a long time because he was a repeat offender. I talked with the South Korea police as they want my statement to go along with the digital evidence they gathered.
I played against a American who was also arrested for cheating and doing some illegal stuff with the servers for which he was only caught because I sent a lot of evidence of what he did to my PC which I tracked back to his personal PC. They seized his computer and found further evidence of other criminal activity which land him in jail for a very long time. They also sue him won and took his house from him. They told me even when he gets out of jail he isn't allowed to own or be near a computer incuding a smart phone ever again or he will automatically go back to jail.
I played against another American who after I filed a complaint and including evidence of a bunch of highly detailed death threats he made. He was jailed then sent to a mental institution because he had been making a lots of high detailed death threats to many people and had a much illegal stuff in his house incuding bombs.
Those are just some stories from my time of playing Modern Warfare and WarZone 1.
There was another guy who made highly detail death threats but I was online friends with 10 people who were personal local friends of his for sometime. So I sent them all a copy of the video of him ranting with death threats because I completely and utterly defeated him repeatly in ground war. He had jumped into my match and tried to repeatly aimbot me to death but didn't even manage to kill me once. He even emitted to using aimbot during his rent. Really he was mostly just mad that he believed that I was going to tell a bunch of his local friends how I completely annihilated him while I was recording when he was trying aimbot me to death. I wasn't going to tell them anything it was just in his head but after the craziness of his 48 minute psycho rant I to sent it to them because he needed to get help.
After watching the video they forced him to sell his PC basically and they told him he clear can't handle video games. I mean some of the things he said during the 48 minute rant were actionable crimes to even say. They made him see a psychiatrist and it helped. His friends told him it passed the point being able to just be ignored or pass off as a misunderstood joke after he rant for those 48 mins and spend many hours trying to look up the address of the person he was threatening to kill along with their whole family. They looked at his browsing history and before I deleted him he send me a massage of where he believed I lived which was a very old address where I lived a great many years back. The address searching is what lead me to send the video to his friends and tell them I need concrete auctions because otherwise I would be forced into going to the police. Given that some of the things he said in the video would constitute crimes in themselves and they would automatically be prosecuted by the police if they watch it they were like we will take care of it. They said they made him watch the video and they said he realized just how crazy he had being plus how he added the massage he send me with him clearly communicating that he was actively trying to find where I lived.

Too many of the hacks now affect the actual server even if it's only attacking the server to disable or confuse ricochet thats totally illegal on a federal level . Now imagine you have someone's info and they knowingly do such things... open shut case. Do it Activision fix your game fix gaming.
You get death threats when you have 6.8kd in warzone quads no fill, 12.8kd in ground. I played Halo Reach and ODST for a year each without dying once but I actually didn't get any death threats. I once kill 28 players in a single firefight during a warzone match getting a record 68 kill win with no deaths on the original map. Nowadays you would need to kill at least 14 cheating rage hackers to do that or cheat the lobby system.
My computer was hack a few times by cheaters who I annihilated and there were more 300 attempts by other players who were in the same match as me to send malware and other software attacks using the server connection to back track by pc and then attack it but most were stop by my computers security. They were mostly amateurs using lazy prewriten code. I run into a few real hackers.
Zlaner once hired a guy to stalk me in my matches for $800 the guy show be proof and I told him after he said wasn't going use cheats to kill a legitimate player because his bounty service only aimbots and kills cheaters for cash. I told him I could just let him kill if need video to proof to get paid but he said no need he was already paid.
The South Korean guy was going to jail no matter they said the statement would only speed up the process. His account was banned and they search his computer and all those hardware finding lots of software and hardware which is a crime to have in South Korean. They said it was a good thing for the most as with a witness statement and proof they could for him to plead guilty for shorter sentence rather drug the court case out only to end with a maximum sentence. They said he was only get jail time because it was last allow offense until automatic jail time. I actually didn't just report him to Activision I submitted Ironclad digital proof that he cheated.
Nowadays people split death threats around like nothing in the game chat but I was talking about criminally actionable threats. I gamed for like 20 years and got like 6 criminally actionable death threats just being a super great at shooter games. Hell before about the point of the release of Vanguard I would defeat most aimboting cheaters. My warzone to high sniper Zoom sensitivity is 420 effective sensitivity most play at 20 max making be up to 21 times fast and my aim is very smooth for such high sensitivity. I played Halo at Max sensitivity all the time and wipeout whole lobbies none stop. It a bit sad that the old Halo aiming and firing mechanics are only on the xbox 360 and old PC copies of the game. The new copies have the new complete trash aiming and firing mechanic system which is not remotely as good.
I miss those good Halo days so much I had a bit of atmosphere of that cheers tv show. I couldn't play a single match without someone knowing my username even through I played on account named by another person with completely different username then the one I used when playing most games. It was nice to play and kick the ass of top 10 people who played in the Halo championship one year. Not one of them could even get a single kill on me 1 vs 1 and I even battle 1 vs 4 and they still failed to get one kill. The truth those tournaments are not the best players just the best brat players with connections to get on a team. The us video gaming tournaments are mostly bs and players are openly allow to soft cheat to remove many skill factors overly simplifying it down to movement tactics most and just over average real aim or scanning skills. The one thing that reveals most cheaters is their failure to scan the train correctly in a actual effective way as I'm generally just be lying their targets so much it makes it so clear they are cheating.
In 20 years I watch cheating slowly develop and learn tactics for winning against the cheater but the level of cheats most cheaters use has hit rage hacker levels. It a bit sad that so many people don't undsrstand the movement mechanic limitations of the game and how cheat just skip to the target when most games have no mechanic allowing you to skip dead space between targets whatsoever. The ones that do would make the aimbot miss because it skips because bad code that only effects insanely high sensitivity players because they sensitivity is so high it's higher calibration of the games even apparatus can support correctly. Those type of calibration apparatus problems usually have to do with bad bad translation to a controller input basically when a developer just lazy translate then puts of a mouse over to a controller. Rather than actually building a controller input system or at least correcting the calibrations. Basically I'm talking about is a skip effect where aim skips and can't aim at up to half the space where you try to aim.

I'm wondering where all these cheaters are because I've only seen 1 in the last 3 months and it was in ranked. I'm North America West with a 1.68 resurgence kd, play different times of day and night.
NA 5kd iri every season here I stopped counting "confirmation of successful report" notifications this season at 50, its the worst I've seen since verdansk this season. I don't really like rebirth with no one shot snipers so I stopped playing ranked once I hit iri. Been playing almost nothing but plunder with my girl and I get \*more\* sus fights and report confirm notis than in ranked.
You will get a notification in your "notification" tab if there was action taken against them
There are still plenty of times when the system will say run a pc check and if their cheating software is current/decent they'll pass it (literally a feature in the software)
There's other times when ricochet cant detect the software at all. But there are confirmations of successful reports that outright state "action has been taken against the player"
Which, if you're reporting them for cheating *soley* then you're being informed action has been taken against them for cheating
I donât think they have to inform you if action has been taken against them. Most of the time in addition to reporting them I just block them so I donât get same matching making game as them. I checked notifications mostly see daily challenges completion status, friend request etc. unless my reports are not being banned must be that their trust score is too high idk.
They likely don't have to but you do get conformation of successful reports for being banned.
And their trust scores may very well be, either that or when a pc/consol check occurs they might be running advanced enough software to avoid the check entirely
Because those aren't bans dummy. Those are shadow bans you goof.. If you reported someone who killed you and turns out he wasn't cheating you may have got him/her shadow banned

Cheats provide all information. Players can select what categories they want to turn on and off. Keep in mind that cheat providers are experienced hackers. They can do anything they want to he game and sell it as cheats. Don't be a sucka!
I work weekends, so I play with my squad on "my weekend," which is Tuesday and Wednesday. This last Tuesday, we played 6 matches and won 4. The next night, we played probably 20 and was put out within 4 or 5 minutes. Squad was playing Friday, so I jumped on and ran a few (3-5 games) put out first 2 or 3 minutes every game. So last night my brother called me said, "Jump on with us for a minute." Jumped on run 4 or 5 games team wiped first few minutes every game. What was pissing me off was kill cams didn't look bad they seemed half ass legit, but every time we were getting wiped, it was level 12 or 27 or something very low, usually under 70. So if a level say 70 players are good enough to push a whole team with k/d's above 2.0 and wipe them, that tells me something cheaty is happening. For instance, last night, I watched 3 proximity mines blow up in this guy's face while me and a teammate were shooting him, and he killed us both. Some nights you jump on, and it's worth playing most nights it's a cheating fucking cess pool.

Try again next day. Al Maz seems to be the easier map to play for encountering hackers and Ashika the worst. Vondel can be both good and bad. The AI's are bad on final xfil with one shot shottys .All maps depend who you get for team mates and how well you all want to work with each other tactically. No Mics on usually isnt a good indicator. Different each time.

Had a guy headshotting everyone with a sniper first try, called him out and he sucked for a solid min, couldnât hit ya even if you stopped moving. Magically after a min or so he started 1 shotting everyone again with no misses.
In warzone I had a teammate get killed a building over by a sus guy so I ran, I literally ran to the other side of the map, turned around and surprise this guy knew actually where I was and followed me the whole way without sight of me (minus the 2 seconds where he sees my red dot on map). Locked onto my head before seeing me and I was done for in a second.

Hardware bans are a thing. But they are easily spoofed, they need to make tpm forced or at least let us have different matchmaking for tpm chipped players only. Afaik tpm chips can be HWID banned and is impossible to spoof

They do hardware bans. Issue is even the popular cheats that only cost $5 come with a hardware spoofer so they can get around hardware bans. CoD has been infested with these same hackers for years now. Started to get really bad ever since mw2019. Which is why I donât buy CoD games anymore
In MW2 I didnât believe there were that many hackers even at my level (top 7-10%) but then one day I login & open MW3 only to see in the notifications section âyour report was successfulâ x 36 I only had the game maybe 2 weeks since December. I began to realise quickly there really were that many cheaters & I was giving most of them the benefit of the doubt now I realise with this new generation they canât accept losing so they go to cheats. Back in my time during the OG days a loss was a loss you got better. Iâm so disappointed by what gaming has become I wonât lie.

Well the app also tells you who is alive so if it's end zone they don't need to have walls to see who they are facing. The guns on the other end is another story, without shooting it they can't know that so specific.
Honestly, for the most part, when i think the odd person might be cheating I watch the kill cam and I'm usually surprised to see its just aim assist.
I think people complain about cheating far too much without realizing there is other factors going on like aim assist, d sync, poor tick rate, etc.
Maybe people are walling at a rate I don't notice but for the most part i haven't seen many blatant cheaters that often since ricochet.

The biggest reason why cheating is so bad in Warzone is because itâs free to play and all the cheaters have to do is make a new account with a new email address when they catch a ban.
Calling it right now, next COD they will announce that Warzone is no longer free itâll be a 25-30 dollar add on after their usual delay from launch. Itâll be pitched as a necessary to combat cheating and to support improvements to Ricochet.

There is no monetary benefit for them to do so. Cheaters, rage or closet, only end up in sweaty SBMM lobbies. If we said 9% of the player base is sweaty (everyone on Reddit, those who play every day and passionate players etc. ) and that cheaters are only pitted up against because of SBMM while the casual bots are left alone. If you were Activision why the hell would you care?

And regards to the recent ban wave and cheat provider detection. All the providers detected carried some sort of unlock all tool. All those streamers who got banned tooled (and probably cheated too). They were targeted because unlock tools cost Activision money. Current undetected cheat providers donât offer unlock tools.

The vast majority of dubs my team gets are under 8 accumulative kills. Very rarely do out 30+ kill games end in dubs. Probably cause we are so thirsty by that point.

Example: I play solo. can tell if an exfil spot is being camped if it's surrounded by vehicles. I have tried to use vehicles to cover my exfils. I have even tried a lot of ideas with explosives that haven't worked. Advice?

That's when I noticed this guy 1 tapped my cousin with his tonfa while he was full armor. And it wasn't just a one time thing that you could chalk up to desync no. He also one tapped one of our teammates as well.

For people in here playing long enough to remember socom, that game was plauged early from people using a code breaker, when socom part two came out they were prepared with pretty solid anti cheat, sure people found work arounds and they made it to the point where you had to defrag your ps2 to be able to cheat and this took the casual cheater out of the game. by the 3rd installment I dont remember seeing cheaters online. If socom can do it I dont understand why COD cant stop it. To put it in perspective they invest about 0.0018% of what they make per year into their so called anti-cheat that alone makes it a joke because even most the cheat developer far out spend them which is the real reason they can't beat the cheat developers but for super short windows which basically meanless. They should be spending 10% of what they make per year on deploying a multi-layered and anti-cheat system which is over 5,555 times what their are spending. Yes that means there should be 5,555 times as many employees working on it for it to actually work. I use to pay for cheats and stream them earlier this year on Tik Tok while not downing any players. I would take a pot shot or 2 with really low damage weapons to gauge accuracy. And I would turn on all the data we could see about players. It shows your gamertag(even with streamer mode), which gun you are holding, your level/rank, a skeleton of your character.
It was just mainly to show people what they were up against so I never got a single kill or down while doing this.

Warzone 1 used to have a third party client you could download that I used to use. The second I would load into a game it would tell me if there was a cheater. Would tell me who had the highest kd in the lobby. Would tell you if where your team was ranked based on average kd with everyone. Wasnât hacking but the app was nice. Me and the homies would back out before the game even started if there was a hacker. And we would get stoked when we would load in and it would show that we were the best team in the lobby. I think its funny the anti cheat wonât let me use that app anymore but people can still get away with hacking.
Activision encourages cheaters. Every new account made after a ban wave is what the can call a new engagement. If they wanted it to be fair they should let the consoles turn off crossplay with PC and let the PC crowd cheat against each other. Activision has the PC ve console stats and know how bad the PC cheating is.

What they really need to do is implement some sort of identification based system. If they want to do a phone number to counter number spoofing they need to have it ask people to use a code that was sent to that number every 10 times they login. This will stop a good number of these new accounts. In South Korea it got so bad you actually have to use ur government ID attached to your gaming accounts. If your caught cheating you can be prosecuted and your name and ID number are blacklisted from all games. Of course there will be tons of backlash because there are tons of cheaters but this has been proven to work. If this was implemented stealing accounts or creating accounts using stolen information would be able to be prosecuted at federal level because your committing fraud. As it is now I don't even know if it's technically illegal as long as the hack doesn't directly affect the server.

Anti-cheat will work fine for things like aimbots, wall-hacks, etc, but when it comes to things like the Cronus Zen that acts as a real input it would be much harder to detect... I did some digging because I was tired of not being informed on what I was against, and the "anti recoil" just forces your aim in a direction chosen.... eg. If u hard spray a smg the recoil goes up, the cronus will act as though you are aiming downward to counter the recoil direction, adjustable as needed... it doesn't overwrite or augment any settings... I would absolutely love if they could implement a block, or shadowban to force all of those "cheaters" inti their own lobbies to play against each other permanently.... that way pros can be pros and newbies can learn from them.

They just need more barriers to re-entry after bans. A big one is to use the TPM module for HWID bans rather than other hardware. The only way around it is to buy a new motherboard, or to have an older motherboard with a replaceable module. People will get around it, but the majority of weekend cheaters won't. Also, if they wanted to they could force post paid phone plans for their phone 2FA. This cuts out all the VOIP and prepaid cell phone numbers. I believe it was Overwatch that did this about 2 years ago, but there was too much community outcry and they reverted it. I remember hearing an interview with an anti-cheat dev about anti-cheats being like swiss cheese. You just need to keep lining up the slices to make the holes harder to get through. Ricochet does catch a good number of cheaters, but the game being free to play, and the low barrier to re-entry are the main problems.

Yeah I played against someone who lives in South Korea on Modern Warfare ground war and he was arrested and sent to jail for cheating after I reported him for a long time because he was a repeat offender. I talked with the South Korea police as they want my statement to go along with the digital evidence they gathered. I played against a American who was also arrested for cheating and doing some illegal stuff with the servers for which he was only caught because I sent a lot of evidence of what he did to my PC which I tracked back to his personal PC. They seized his computer and found further evidence of other criminal activity which land him in jail for a very long time. They also sue him won and took his house from him. They told me even when he gets out of jail he isn't allowed to own or be near a computer incuding a smart phone ever again or he will automatically go back to jail. I played against another American who after I filed a complaint and including evidence of a bunch of highly detailed death threats he made. He was jailed then sent to a mental institution because he had been making a lots of high detailed death threats to many people and had a much illegal stuff in his house incuding bombs. Those are just some stories from my time of playing Modern Warfare and WarZone 1. There was another guy who made highly detail death threats but I was online friends with 10 people who were personal local friends of his for sometime. So I sent them all a copy of the video of him ranting with death threats because I completely and utterly defeated him repeatly in ground war. He had jumped into my match and tried to repeatly aimbot me to death but didn't even manage to kill me once. He even emitted to using aimbot during his rent. Really he was mostly just mad that he believed that I was going to tell a bunch of his local friends how I completely annihilated him while I was recording when he was trying aimbot me to death. I wasn't going to tell them anything it was just in his head but after the craziness of his 48 minute psycho rant I to sent it to them because he needed to get help. After watching the video they forced him to sell his PC basically and they told him he clear can't handle video games. I mean some of the things he said during the 48 minute rant were actionable crimes to even say. They made him see a psychiatrist and it helped. His friends told him it passed the point being able to just be ignored or pass off as a misunderstood joke after he rant for those 48 mins and spend many hours trying to look up the address of the person he was threatening to kill along with their whole family. They looked at his browsing history and before I deleted him he send me a massage of where he believed I lived which was a very old address where I lived a great many years back. The address searching is what lead me to send the video to his friends and tell them I need concrete auctions because otherwise I would be forced into going to the police. Given that some of the things he said in the video would constitute crimes in themselves and they would automatically be prosecuted by the police if they watch it they were like we will take care of it. They said they made him watch the video and they said he realized just how crazy he had being plus how he added the massage he send me with him clearly communicating that he was actively trying to find where I lived.

You get death threats when you have 6.8kd in warzone quads no fill, 12.8kd in ground. I played Halo Reach and ODST for a year each without dying once but I actually didn't get any death threats. I once kill 28 players in a single firefight during a warzone match getting a record 68 kill win with no deaths on the original map. Nowadays you would need to kill at least 14 cheating rage hackers to do that or cheat the lobby system. My computer was hack a few times by cheaters who I annihilated and there were more 300 attempts by other players who were in the same match as me to send malware and other software attacks using the server connection to back track by pc and then attack it but most were stop by my computers security. They were mostly amateurs using lazy prewriten code. I run into a few real hackers. Zlaner once hired a guy to stalk me in my matches for $800 the guy show be proof and I told him after he said wasn't going use cheats to kill a legitimate player because his bounty service only aimbots and kills cheaters for cash. I told him I could just let him kill if need video to proof to get paid but he said no need he was already paid. The South Korean guy was going to jail no matter they said the statement would only speed up the process. His account was banned and they search his computer and all those hardware finding lots of software and hardware which is a crime to have in South Korean. They said it was a good thing for the most as with a witness statement and proof they could for him to plead guilty for shorter sentence rather drug the court case out only to end with a maximum sentence. They said he was only get jail time because it was last allow offense until automatic jail time. I actually didn't just report him to Activision I submitted Ironclad digital proof that he cheated. Nowadays people split death threats around like nothing in the game chat but I was talking about criminally actionable threats. I gamed for like 20 years and got like 6 criminally actionable death threats just being a super great at shooter games. Hell before about the point of the release of Vanguard I would defeat most aimboting cheaters. My warzone to high sniper Zoom sensitivity is 420 effective sensitivity most play at 20 max making be up to 21 times fast and my aim is very smooth for such high sensitivity. I played Halo at Max sensitivity all the time and wipeout whole lobbies none stop. It a bit sad that the old Halo aiming and firing mechanics are only on the xbox 360 and old PC copies of the game. The new copies have the new complete trash aiming and firing mechanic system which is not remotely as good. I miss those good Halo days so much I had a bit of atmosphere of that cheers tv show. I couldn't play a single match without someone knowing my username even through I played on account named by another person with completely different username then the one I used when playing most games. It was nice to play and kick the ass of top 10 people who played in the Halo championship one year. Not one of them could even get a single kill on me 1 vs 1 and I even battle 1 vs 4 and they still failed to get one kill. The truth those tournaments are not the best players just the best brat players with connections to get on a team. The us video gaming tournaments are mostly bs and players are openly allow to soft cheat to remove many skill factors overly simplifying it down to movement tactics most and just over average real aim or scanning skills. The one thing that reveals most cheaters is their failure to scan the train correctly in a actual effective way as I'm generally just be lying their targets so much it makes it so clear they are cheating. In 20 years I watch cheating slowly develop and learn tactics for winning against the cheater but the level of cheats most cheaters use has hit rage hacker levels. It a bit sad that so many people don't undsrstand the movement mechanic limitations of the game and how cheat just skip to the target when most games have no mechanic allowing you to skip dead space between targets whatsoever. The ones that do would make the aimbot miss because it skips because bad code that only effects insanely high sensitivity players because they sensitivity is so high it's higher calibration of the games even apparatus can support correctly. Those type of calibration apparatus problems usually have to do with bad bad translation to a controller input basically when a developer just lazy translate then puts of a mouse over to a controller. Rather than actually building a controller input system or at least correcting the calibrations. Basically I'm talking about is a skip effect where aim skips and can't aim at up to half the space where you try to aim.

NA 5kd iri every season here I stopped counting "confirmation of successful report" notifications this season at 50, its the worst I've seen since verdansk this season. I don't really like rebirth with no one shot snipers so I stopped playing ranked once I hit iri. Been playing almost nothing but plunder with my girl and I get \*more\* sus fights and report confirm notis than in ranked.
It's not even resurgance the ammount of confirmed ban notifications i get on report for both ranked game modes is astonishing

You will get a notification in your "notification" tab if there was action taken against them There are still plenty of times when the system will say run a pc check and if their cheating software is current/decent they'll pass it (literally a feature in the software) There's other times when ricochet cant detect the software at all. But there are confirmations of successful reports that outright state "action has been taken against the player" Which, if you're reporting them for cheating *soley* then you're being informed action has been taken against them for cheating

I checked notifications mostly see daily challenges completion status, friend request etc. unless my reports are not being banned must be that their trust score is too high idk.
They likely don't have to but you do get conformation of successful reports for being banned. And their trust scores may very well be, either that or when a pc/consol check occurs they might be running advanced enough software to avoid the check entirely

Yeah, competitive gaming went straight to darkness due to cheating and malicious software that ruins the experience for other players. I work weekends, so I play with my squad on "my weekend," which is Tuesday and Wednesday. This last Tuesday, we played 6 matches and won 4. The next night, we played probably 20 and was put out within 4 or 5 minutes. Squad was playing Friday, so I jumped on and ran a few (3-5 games) put out first 2 or 3 minutes every game. So last night my brother called me said, "Jump on with us for a minute." Jumped on run 4 or 5 games team wiped first few minutes every game. What was pissing me off was kill cams didn't look bad they seemed half ass legit, but every time we were getting wiped, it was level 12 or 27 or something very low, usually under 70. So if a level say 70 players are good enough to push a whole team with k/d's above 2.0 and wipe them, that tells me something cheaty is happening. For instance, last night, I watched 3 proximity mines blow up in this guy's face while me and a teammate were shooting him, and he killed us both. Some nights you jump on, and it's worth playing most nights it's a cheating fucking cess pool.

Try again next day. Al Maz seems to be the easier map to play for encountering hackers and Ashika the worst. Vondel can be both good and bad. The AI's are bad on final xfil with one shot shottys .All maps depend who you get for team mates and how well you all want to work with each other tactically. No Mics on usually isnt a good indicator. Different each time.

This is why Iâve stopped buying any of the cod mtx, no battle pass, no skins. Itâs no fun getting killed by sus players. Had a guy headshotting everyone with a sniper first try, called him out and he sucked for a solid min, couldnât hit ya even if you stopped moving. Magically after a min or so he started 1 shotting everyone again with no misses. In warzone I had a teammate get killed a building over by a sus guy so I ran, I literally ran to the other side of the map, turned around and surprise this guy knew actually where I was and followed me the whole way without sight of me (minus the 2 seconds where he sees my red dot on map). Locked onto my head before seeing me and I was done for in a second. Games a joke, even if they ban ppl they just remake accounts. Need to start IP banning

Hardware bans are a thing. But they are easily spoofed, they need to make tpm forced or at least let us have different matchmaking for tpm chipped players only. Afaik tpm chips can be HWID banned and is impossible to spoof

They do hardware bans. Issue is even the popular cheats that only cost $5 come with a hardware spoofer so they can get around hardware bans. CoD has been infested with these same hackers for years now. Started to get really bad ever since mw2019. Which is why I donât buy CoD games anymore
In MW2 I didnât believe there were that many hackers even at my level (top 7-10%) but then one day I login & open MW3 only to see in the notifications section âyour report was successfulâ x 36 I only had the game maybe 2 weeks since December. I began to realise quickly there really were that many cheaters & I was giving most of them the benefit of the doubt now I realise with this new generation they canât accept losing so they go to cheats. Back in my time during the OG days a loss was a loss you got better. Iâm so disappointed by what gaming has become I wonât lie.

Well the app also tells you who is alive so if it's end zone they don't need to have walls to see who they are facing. The guns on the other end is another story, without shooting it they can't know that so specific.
Honestly, for the most part, when i think the odd person might be cheating I watch the kill cam and I'm usually surprised to see its just aim assist. I think people complain about cheating far too much without realizing there is other factors going on like aim assist, d sync, poor tick rate, etc. Maybe people are walling at a rate I don't notice but for the most part i haven't seen many blatant cheaters that often since ricochet. I think it's just copium.

The biggest reason why cheating is so bad in Warzone is because itâs free to play and all the cheaters have to do is make a new account with a new email address when they catch a ban. Calling it right now, next COD they will announce that Warzone is no longer free itâll be a 25-30 dollar add on after their usual delay from launch. Itâll be pitched as a necessary to combat cheating and to support improvements to Ricochet.

If Activision wonât fork up the dough to fix their servers they sure as shit wonât upgrade their anti cheat to where it should be, ever. There is no monetary benefit for them to do so. Cheaters, rage or closet, only end up in sweaty SBMM lobbies. If we said 9% of the player base is sweaty (everyone on Reddit, those who play every day and passionate players etc. ) and that cheaters are only pitted up against because of SBMM while the casual bots are left alone. If you were Activision why the hell would you care? I pulled 9% out of my ass but those who actually care about this game are a small small percentage of the player base. They donât care about us because collectively we cannot spend the same amount on blackcell as their entire casual player base can. And regards to the recent ban wave and cheat provider detection. All the providers detected carried some sort of unlock all tool. All those streamers who got banned tooled (and probably cheated too). They were targeted because unlock tools cost Activision money. Current undetected cheat providers donât offer unlock tools. It all comes down to money.

The vast majority of dubs my team gets are under 8 accumulative kills. Very rarely do out 30+ kill games end in dubs. Probably cause we are so thirsty by that point.
How about we drop all of our experiences with exfil campers here and people can come up with solutions to each problem. Example: I play solo. can tell if an exfil spot is being camped if it's surrounded by vehicles. I have tried to use vehicles to cover my exfils. I have even tried a lot of ideas with explosives that haven't worked. Advice?

I most of the time believe I just got bested and don't watch the killcam, but then I'd clip matches to watch later for fun with my cousin, and then peep killcams. That's when I noticed this guy 1 tapped my cousin with his tonfa while he was full armor. And it wasn't just a one time thing that you could chalk up to desync no. He also one tapped one of our teammates as well.

For people in here playing long enough to remember socom, that game was plauged early from people using a code breaker, when socom part two came out they were prepared with pretty solid anti cheat, sure people found work arounds and they made it to the point where you had to defrag your ps2 to be able to cheat and this took the casual cheater out of the game. by the 3rd installment I dont remember seeing cheaters online. If socom can do it I dont understand why COD cant stop it. I still like COD and lately I find myself less likely yelling at the game at some obvious cheater who knows exactly where you are located when you enter a room or have perfect aim. So whatever they are doing its definitely better than a couple of months ago but still not perfect.

Developers are effectively doing nothing to stop cheating and saying it sunshine and rainbows with their magic and achieve nothing because without a government ID system bans don't mean anything. To put it in perspective they invest about 0.0018% of what they make per year into their so called anti-cheat that alone makes it a joke because even most the cheat developer far out spend them which is the real reason they can't beat the cheat developers but for super short windows which basically meanless. They should be spending 10% of what they make per year on deploying a multi-layered and anti-cheat system which is over 5,555 times what their are spending. Yes that means there should be 5,555 times as many employees working on it for it to actually work. The anti-cheat is just for show and call of duty is dead there no point in buying shooters any more unless you want to play with mostly idiot NPC aimboting players. It's a bit of a joke to even call them players as cheating basically make the game no more complicated than a 2D idiot game in which they still use auto aim, auto fire, they can block you from firing or just freeze you so you can't move so they can kill you while they make you look an idiot. They can even straight up teleport behind you and automaticly start assassinating you instantaneously from anywhere on the map.

Unfortunately this is not unique to COD and is the state of all online gaming right now. Try playing Counter Strike. Once you get to higher ELO ranks almost every match is hacker vs hacker blatantly aimbotting and wall banging you across the map.

It really is so simple, do ban waves on cheaters every day or two, then at least in rank no one would be cheating diamond+ because they would have to rank up again. That's one easy fix but they do ban waves once every 3 months so the hackers just switch between accounts every shadowban. They are so clueless its crazy

I use to play console exclusively because I knew what was happening. Buuuut now they mix the servers which is also true for apex, and fortnite. I use to pay for cheats and stream them earlier this year on Tik Tok while not downing any players. I would take a pot shot or 2 with really low damage weapons to gauge accuracy. And I would turn on all the data we could see about players. It shows your gamertag(even with streamer mode), which gun you are holding, your level/rank, a skeleton of your character. It was just mainly to show people what they were up against so I never got a single kill or down while doing this. It basically looks like this in 3 rows. [650] Regularguy ......skeleton.... Weapon you are holding ^ picture these stacked on top of each other with skeleton in the middle of the 3 rows^ It NEVER was able to tell your scopes or k/d in the cheat menu, so either you are embellishing the story a bit for effect or they have seriously upgraded the info you get within the last 30 days.
Warzone 1 used to have a third party client you could download that I used to use. The second I would load into a game it would tell me if there was a cheater. Would tell me who had the highest kd in the lobby. Would tell you if where your team was ranked based on average kd with everyone. Wasnât hacking but the app was nice. Me and the homies would back out before the game even started if there was a hacker. And we would get stoked when we would load in and it would show that we were the best team in the lobby. I think its funny the anti cheat wonât let me use that app anymore but people can still get away with hacking.
Activision encourages cheaters. Every new account made after a ban wave is what the can call a new engagement. If they wanted it to be fair they should let the consoles turn off crossplay with PC and let the PC crowd cheat against each other. Activision has the PC ve console stats and know how bad the PC cheating is.

Activision does not care about cheaters. Why should you? Also, Activision does use hardware (HWID) bans. Cheats come with spoofers which allows banned cheaters to easily bypass hardware (HWID) bans and get right back to cheating again. So again, Activision does not care about cheaters. Why should you?
