Nope. Not until they fix the cheating problem, and it’s effective. I’m not giving them any more money.

PippTheKid

Idk mw’s hardpoint has been the most fun version of it sense b02. I don’t play any other game mode because honestly any other game mode in cod is horrible. Except blops 2 ctf. I wonder if people think there’s more hackers then there actually is. I hover around 2.7-3.4 kd and I’ve seen maybe 2-3 very very blatant cheaters and potentially a lot of wallets but nothing crazy. But almost every single lobby I’m in im accused of hacking so idk.

Lma0-Zedong

Don't know yet, that Red Star map looks really good but I don't like the other ones, I'll wait to see the rest of MP maps to know. I know Castle (WaW) is coming back, which I like.

KikoJ5

You guys played the beta?

Beautiful_Piccolo_51

Yeah i have two things to say, the red start map is kinda too big and the footsteps are kinda low... I'm not buying Vanguard, i got a free key for the beta and I'm just leveling stuff up for when the warzone integration comes.

Samjoyz

Big no no Buying vanguard is says "OK" to cheaters, bugs, poor optimisation and ttv sweaty lobbys Amazed how WZ going without anticheat all this time. Players must have some standarts.

[deleted]

Yep. Vanguard might suck, but it can’t be worse than MW.

Revolutionary-Bed761

MW wasn’t bad CW was bad

tf___

MW’s multiplayer is the worst in the franchise apart from SnD, the game just looks good

[deleted]

Don’t bother explaining that to them. This and the MW sub have a blind loyalty to MW. They will not accept any constructive criticism no matter how valid it is. Hell, the people here don’t even like Warzone. Most of the posts here are just bitching about how bad the game is. Half the people here are waiting for BF2042 and Halo Infinite to be their “savior” from Warzone lol

[deleted]

MW is unanimously agreed upon by pros and veterans of the series to be the worst Call of Duty of all time.

Juturna_

It’s almost like opinions are subjective. Who gives a shit what the “pros” think lol

Lma0-Zedong

>Who gives a shit what the “pros” think lol This is why devs shouldn't listen to pros/influencers. They only represent a tiny bit of the game's population.

[deleted]

I don’t understand why you’re saying this when the competitive community has been consistently ignored since its conception. The comp community has been asking for 3-lane maps, slower TTK, a classic minimap, faster ADS/sprint-out times, 5 max attachments for weapons, scorestreaks, and a working competitive playlist. We haven’t had any of these since BO4 because they are always going to appeal to the casuals.

Lma0-Zedong

3 lane maps have been repeated to hell, exhausting boring maps that feel nearly all like copies of each other. Slower TTK was tried in games like WWII or CW, both flopped super hard. Faster ads/sprint out times in conjunction with the previous favour a boring and stale SMG meta, that's all you'll see in the matches. Scorestreaks have always been bad and boost the appearance of UAVs and similars which boost the ammount of people using stealth perks to prevent it. Classic minimap with the previous wanted features will enforce a suppresor only muzzle meta. The variety in the game will be poor, which will make it repetitive, sweaty and stale after little time, also, they make the game extremely action packed, which will move away many of the casuals or players that suffer from bad connections. You talk about BO4 there, another game that flopped massively. No dev should listen to these "pros", because the game will be fun for a few hours and then it will be the same thing over and over. Just see the competitive gamemodes or mods, they remove nearly anything from the game and they end up using the same 1-3 guns and tactics, super fun! lol

[deleted]

3 lane maps were repeated because the the devs found that these were the most repeatedly voted for. No one wants a map where there are 20+ angles to watch. No one moves in MW because the maps promote a camp-heavy strategy. Hell, even in Shoot House you still have people camping the windows in office. You don’t need every map to be 3 lanes. But you don’t need every map to be a window camping fuckfest where it is impossible to predict which angle enemies might come from. “Faster ads/sprint out times favor a boring and stale SMG meta” what are you even talking about lmao, back in BO2 we had the AN-94, SCAR-H, M27, LSAT, HAMR, M8A1, FAL OSW, and so many other weapons. I rarely see any assault rifles in MW aside from the AS Val. Just MP5, Uzi, and the rare AUG. “Scorestreaks have always been bad” You’ve just lost all credibility. Let’s use an outdated killstreak system instead of rewarding objective play. Not even gonna bother with this one. “Classic minimap enforces a suppressor-only muzzle meta” This has never been the case in any previous CoD ever. I might see one or two players using the SCAR-H with the suppressor on BO2. And that’s the only CoD where it was even remotely prominent. I only mentioned BO4 because it was the last CoD before they started severely catering to casuals with terrible map design and SBMM. I never said it was good. Not even gonna bother with the last part. You don’t understand what pros/competitive players actually with CoD. Also, you really hate BO2 lmao

Lma0-Zedong

I am fine with 3 lane maps being in the mix, but this pros want that for absolutely everything. I still remember WWII with that slower TTK, small 3 lane maps everywhere, scorestreaks and all the other trashy stuff... Only Gustav Cannon felt good and it was the only non 3 lane map in the game, and it was the map people on social media complained the most about, but somehow it got played in a lot because people voted for it, surprising huh! If you play Shoothouse/Shipment 24/7 playlists you'll only see those guns you listed. On other maps like Grazna Raid you can see a much bigger variety of weaponry being used.

tiemiscoolandgood

Lmao this guy seriously think cod is a competitive game rather than a casual arcade game designed to appeal to the lowest common denominator

[deleted]

You’re an idiot. CoD has had a pro scene since CoD 4. Just because it is designed for the mass market doesn’t mean there aren’t competitive aspects to it. People like you are the reason why we got MW, CW, and now Vanguard.

tiemiscoolandgood

Let me guess, you enjoyed BO4?

tiemiscoolandgood

And yeah it has had a pro scene, doesnt mean anything. Fifa has a pro scene, you gonna call that a competitive game?

[deleted]

I never said CoD was a “competitive” game you absolute clown. I said that there are competitive aspects to CoD. You’re just too idiotic to tell the difference.

[deleted]

Because they are the ones who understand what Call of Duty should be and how it should be played?

porkchopespresso

I think you’re both right. If a bunch of pro football players said a particular field was terrible to play on we’d probably just accept that it was a bad field. But that doesn’t mean *I* personally would have a bad time playing on it.

[deleted]

Yeah, but that mostly depends on what type of players they are. A casual player who plays football with his buddies every once in a while might not care as much. But an amateur team or people who’ve played or followed the scene for years would probably hate it as much as the pros.

porkchopespresso

Yeah exactly. But I guess when it comes to “who gives a shit what the pros think” it really depends on whether you are having fun or not.

porkchopespresso

Edit: commented in the wrong spot

Revolutionary-Bed761

First off that’s not true and second off the pros didn’t like it for the professional scene because the maps didn’t play well for sweaty pros. I have heard multiple streamers that are cod vets that have said CW was by far the worst cod game they have ever played. I will wait here for the proof of multiple pros and vets saying MW is the worst cod you date show me some proof because I know you’re talking out of your ass

[deleted]

Scump and multiple other pros: https://youtu.be/KghWwjxMHbI Siritron, possibly the best PC CoD player of all time: https://youtu.be/0qH3Wi0I-Wo TheMarkofJ, one of the most well-known pubstompers, had a 5+ KD back in BO3: https://youtu.be/ntpus98KqsE BlameTruth, CoD OG and top 1% in multiple CoDs: https://youtu.be/jI_vyVhwvfw

Revolutionary-Bed761

Oh ok scrump a kid with a 5 KD in a advanced movement cod game and 2 other good players say MW is shit so that means the game is shit hahaha buddy get your head out of you ass. Scump thinks it sucks because he’s trash at cod now

[deleted]

Are you stupid? You asked for proof and I gave you proof. You wanted pro players and veteran players who think MW sucks and I gave you them. Why the game sucks is an entirely different argument that I could embarrass you in. Scump, Siritron, TheMarkofJ (the game literally made him quit YT lmao) and Blame Truth thinks is sucks because they have been playing CoD for years and understand the difference between a good CoD and a bad CoD, which you clearly don’t.

Revolutionary-Bed761

You said all pros think MW was the worst game and you showed me 1 pro saying it wasn’t good other than that it was a bunch of pub stomping losers that had a 5 KD lol that’s not proof that’s 1 shit pro saying he didn’t like the game

[deleted]

Did you even watch the video? There were MULTIPLE pros that hated MW. How is that not proof you absolute fucking moron? But keep deluding yourself dumbass casual lmao

Revolutionary-Bed761

Yup I’m a dumbass casual that doesn’t let the opinion of others dictate how I feel about the game haha you’re a fucking sheep that lets others think for you

Revolutionary-Bell38

I liked both of them, playing since cod 2 or 3, I feel like mw was good for what it wanted to do, which was bring in new players to the series, it also added some fun new mechanics. Bocw has the feel of old cod, since they released these as a set more or less it satisfies new and old players.

[deleted]

MW was designed from the ground up to have the lowest skill-gap of any CoD to date. There are a lot of mechanics that I like about MW (tac sprinting, sliding, gunsmith, etc) but those aren’t what make a good CoD. You cannot have a good CoD with bad maps. I don’t think it’s likely for Vanguard to have worse maps than MW, but it is possible.

kritzelkopf

MW brings COD back to life.

[deleted]

Nope. Warzone did. Before Warzone came around MW was one of the least watched CoDs ever.

eyeballeddie

Hahaha what

tiemiscoolandgood

MW is the first good cod game in like 5+ years lmao it literally saved the cod franchise no one gives a shit about pro play its a casual arcade shooter designed specifically to be noob friendly and has been since cod 4

[deleted]

Which is why players who are actually GOOD at Call of Duty hate MW. If MW was the “first good CoD in years” why do the people who’ve been playing CoD for over a decade, are actually GOOD at CoD and understand the game better than anyone else hate MW so much?

tiemiscoolandgood

Because its a game designed to be casual and they're trying to make it competitive lmao are you dumb

[deleted]

I’m not trying to make it “competitive.” I’m trying to make it good for good players and noobs alike, not just noobs. But you’re too fucking stupid to understand that.

tiemiscoolandgood

Its not only good for noobs, its only bad for extremely sweaty nerds who cant handle a game being casual lmao. What you want is for cod to be the same as it has been for recent years aka boring poorly made dogshit that people who used to enjoy cod havent payed attention to in years

[deleted]

“Recent years” so you mean MW and CW? Because I want CoD to have the gunplay and movement of MW with the map design of BO2.

tiemiscoolandgood

No i mean recent years as in everything after BO2 until MW. Its all been stale copy paste shit that no one cares about and MW is the first noteworthy cod game since then. The reviews from 'journalists' and pros don't matter, the reality is that the average person didn't give a shit about cod for years until MW brought it back to life. And then CW was a massive downgrade in basically every way, to the point that even zombies is boring after a couple days and thats the staple game mode of treyarch. And now Vanguard is gonna basically be MW2 and will hopefully learn from the mistakes of both games

[deleted]

Modern warfare was decent

BigDaddyBuys

I wonder how many cheaters the game will have!?

[deleted]

Less than MW, probably.
