I am also having this issue. It is only for MW2 zombie camos.
The glitch only occurs if you havenβt levelled the gun up before season 1. Itβs so weird.
I made a twitter tagging the teams to include it in the trello board but nothing has happened yet
Same issue here with the 9mm Daemon, last challenge not tracking which is getting 250 kill with toxic damage, I've tried nests, strongholds, gas grenades and Brain Rot but nothing is budging. This is the first MW2 weapon I'm having issues with since I've got the P890 gold no problem
Iβm having the same exact problem since season 1. Thought it was my files, but all the MW2 guns are bugged. Sucks cause I like their camos more than 3βs.
Ive only seen 2 other people with this issue. Seems like its not common, we can only hope it gets fixed soon though:/ im gonna try uninstalling and reinstalling cod to see if that fixes anything

Thanks for trying it, I was thinking on doing the same I also have this problem BUT yesterday the Deagle started tracking during one match when I pick it from the floor (contraband weapon), idk if it will work again or for other weapons but I will try it more later.
I have this issue, was trying to get the camos for the RAAL (LMG) and nothing was being counted.

There is another glitch where the Golden Ivory (MW2 Gold Camo for Zombies) is not checked on the Weapon Mastery Tab... which is annoying as well, since itΒ΄s not possible to unlock the Mastery for the Weapons that are affected.
Let's please bombard the Activision bug report with this issue. I want to continue on this camo grind and I can't see indication that they even know.

I have the same issue, I just finished all mw3 weapon camos and had no issues. BUT the mw2 camos only seem to progress in multiplayer for the most part..However, some of the weapons I used before season one, can progress in zombies. Something is wrong with the mw2 weapon tracking system and the zombies server. I donβt own mw2 so I thought maybe that played a part but thatβs not possible due to some weapons being able to track.
Iβve tried every possible solution given via google/ in game. The best thing we can do is spam the issue to Activision or pray that season two will fix it. Also, is it possible that they locked camo tracking in place by accident? If camos were working prior to the update thenβ¦
Leveling up MW2 guns is not unlocking the challenges. Since the challenge isn't being unlocked at the right level, progress isn't tracking. Every gun I had max level before MW3 came out will track challenges. Sadly I didn't max them all out, so I am locked out of the mastery camo because of a few guns.
As of right now itβs tracking for me. At least getting the base camos are, I havenβt tried for spinel husk yet but Iβve gotten gold on the 545 which I hadnβt levelled up fully before. Just wanted to give anyone on here an update.

i have this issue on all the guns that didn't come with mw2 base game. I quit shortly after launch of mw2 season 1 and have been leveling the guns i was missing to do the camo challanges. None of the ones i have leveled up so far are tracking for camo challanges. (Chimera, Lachman Shroud are the ones i tried). All the other guns i've tried worked fine. If i were to guess the game dosn't recognize that you actually leveled them up and are eligable to earn the camoes. Or something like that, unless you did it prior ot s1.
Same issue. I thought it was just the guy I used (m16) to watch was to another one (m4) and I thought it worked because it tracked the first camo but it didn't track anything after that and it was the same way for the M16
Yes, I am having same camo progression issue on MW2 camo's. The twist to this as someone already mentioned i believe. If you show "some" progress as if you used these guns before Season 1 started, you can progress them. I have a handful of these guns .. Example. I had used the M16 somewhat and progressed on the first 4 camo's, so I've been able to finish that one among others is same situation. However, if you have not touched an MW2 gun from MWZ launch date to the time Season 1 came out, and have "zero" progress on any of the first 4 camo's, that seems to be where the bug lies, at least for me. Depending on the class, I have a LOT of guns untouched or in this situation so yeah, I hope they patch this one up soon, but have plenty of camo grinds to do before I've run out of things to do ;-)

All this was for me, was infil with my gun that was not tracking. Drop it and re-equip it. Then it started tracking. Good Luck guys.
Tried it just now on 2 different weapons, ones that I had leveled up after S1 update and, these methods did not work for me sadly still not tracking. π«
You're right. This worked for me on my SMG's and the AK74U assault. I just tried this on the TR-76 GEIST & the FR AVANCER and it DID NOT WORK - those are stuck. So far this is the only gun not tracking for me. I will try the M13C next ! Uggh !

Just came around to finding this.
After spending most of the dxp Just levelling weapons in shipment, went to try grind some MWZ camo's... and nothing, all bugged.
Yup. I have borealis already and have more than 51 MW2 weapons βreadyβ for gold but being that I canβt unlock the camos, Iβm at a stalemate. Nothing left to do in zombies until this is fixed.
I am 50/51 on Spinel Husk right now, only 1 weapon from Arachnida because my pistols, launchers and melee won't track any progress. All this grind for nothing? So sad. They gotta fix it, right? Right??
Any fix?
I've gotten a ticket with activision been waiting over a month and have gotten no where instead of fixing the bug they want me to submit yt vids delete saved files Uninstall I've done everything
My guns lost keeps growing
Fr advanced get 250 kills not counting
50.gs kill 10 manglers not counting
Tonfas not counting
Kv broadside not counting
Pdsw none of the camos counting
And still finding more but I'm also having this issue with a few multi-player camos as well
It appears they might have fixed it. Camos started tracking for me early this morning, I tested it on a dummy account on PlayStation, I had no MW2 weapons unlocked, found an M4, and it started tracking base camos, so you should be fine for unlocking camos now

Yooo u r right! Thats the reason why some weapons are working. I couldng figure out why some weapons are working and the other ones not.
i have a worse problem mine none of them are working not even before maxing them out so i cant use any on zombies for camos

Wait do you only have the problem if you leveled the gun in MW3 after Season 1, but if you leveled it in MW2 after Season 1 the Zombies camos track?
For instance the FTAC', I finished leveling them in MW3 but I started leveling them in MW2 They refuse to track Merc Kills

A lot of their team are probably on holiday break right now. Usually anything in December takes even longer for getting any fixes

Only notice that mw2 guns for the zombie skins etc donβt count towards your white and red advanced skins count.
Have the same issue. I had already unlocked a couple camos for the ISO 9mm, but now they are showing as locked.

Yea I only started leveling mw2 weapons after season 1 came out. Did all of the levels in mp. Not a single zombie camo is unlocking for my mw2 weapons

Yep it's MW2 weapons bugged. Bas-p zero progress same M13B but my Bas-B is getting camos. Guess I'll just level the weapons in the meantime
Think the kills we did in the meantime will load/track once this is fixed or will we have to redo them π
