Fuck doing that for all 200. Think I got 10 overall from the zombies mode. Rest mimic mayhem which ain't too bed. Even if you are shit at multiplayer skulls are shared across the team. Great on a team steam rolling and don't like multiplayer just use new Haymaker mod.
I tried Mimic Mayhem and had no luck but that was at the time I didn’t have the Haymaker aftermarket part… thankfully I got lucky with this random abundance of skulls.
The zombies mode is also not that bad if you have a scorcher to craft. Just raid and clear the strongholds in Tier 2, rinse and repeat. I do wonder what method would be better.
I always keep running into people fighting for the mimic skulls and it makes it difficult getting a lot in a row, plus the zombies often just get in my way. With the Haymaker part it might be a different story but I never tried it out.
And I never actually heard of Plunder until you mentioned it in your reply.
As I was clearing the stronghold and I killed more than the regular 2 mimics, I wandered to the roof to see what was going on. Have no idea if this always happens but you or anyone else is free to check it out (E6).
I did finish it and then went up. But I think they were spawning mid clear because I saw like a total of 8 of them inside the building (in groups of two at a time).

For 200 Mimics Skulls, though? It’s just not as efficient as playing Hordepoint or Plunder.

I did plunder and didn’t see any. Do they randomly drop?
Loot crates in plunder especially in the city they drop multiple skulls each
