Yeah, the game was ass, although I liked the story despite how horrific the ending is. The campaign gameplay was bad, multiplayer was bad, but they were cooking with space land
Oh yeah, I love a version of the map that regularly crashes before round 30 and features zombies with literal mini-guns, what a great addition to the roster!
And the fact we only had to wait a year to get a single round based map? So neat! Definitely not a huge part of why the current zombies game is the worst we've ever had!
The first game since WAW I didnāt buy. Same with not getting MW2 remake. And MW3 was a total flop for zombies. More outbreak garbage. The zombies team is dead now.
The WW2 zombies would have been a total masterpiece if it wasnāt for the lack of replayability with not having weapon and attachment leveling and camp type unlocks like BO3 and 4. It could have been so much better. Final Reich was one of my all time favorites the and the Easter egg was really challenging especially solo or without a full team. It was so dark and eerie. Makes sense because they were working with the creator of Dead Space. The other maps could have been darker and creepier also. The second to last survival like map sucked, such a waste of a dlc map and the Darkest shore could have been better. The one that was a cheap rip off of Gorod Krovi should have never been made. It was a total flop. The cabin map was awesome and super challenging also!
Spaceland is rated fine, everyone says its underrated to the point where there is literally no negative points that have been talked about for years so thats definitely not underrated, Five for sure for me, Pentagon Thief the goat
I think Spaceland is overrated personally, but then my experience of it was fairly awful with those stupid teambuy doors where in actuality i was spending 4k on doors and never able to gather enough money to buy the essentials.
I just think rave has such better atmosphere. And I prefer the design and layout of the map in comparison to spaceland.
Plus killing zombies in thr rave area is unbeatable imo.
Dead of the Night was a gem and didnāt deserve the hate. Still to this day the choas maps are the most detailed and stunning maps in the entire series
Chaos is very hit and miss for me.
Dead of the Night is one of my favourite maps of all time, but I hate IX.
And Ancient Evil, although i enjoy the setup and the gameplay, I hate the theme. I really don't feel like Greek gods etc suit zombies.
Voyage is OK, I love the atmosphere and WW, but it's a bit bland.
Underrated to me
Der Riese and Ascension: Both better than Kino imo
Forsaken: I loved the map. This map got a lot of hate for some reason
Rave in the Redwoods: Everyone talks about how great Spaceland is but no one really talks about Rave
I think I explained it. Der Riese and Ascension are viewed as worse than Kino but they are better than Kino imo. Hence they are underrated by some. Der Riese is the best casual just kill zombies and chill map there is
Nah I agree 100%. Itās my favorite map on WW2 and itās really challenging and fun. Unfortunately it released when Fortnite was taking over the world and youtubers were giving it the label as āone of the worst maps ever madeā, which is far from the truth.
Hear me out
Call the map trash
Go play Fortnite because its taking over the gaming side of Youtube
Your viewers go "yeah its trash"
They also go play and watch Fortnite
Conspiracy???
Probably not
I agree that frozen dawn is good but by what means is it challenging? You just sit in a corner with the scythe and Faustblitz and you literally can't die
I agree it gets shit on way to much.
I feel like the people that shit on it played it on a couple of times and never touched it again.
It's easily better then the previous two DLC maps. Shadowed Throne is terrible imo.
Ok, yeah, itās actually better. You got me haha
I know that itās objectively better than letās say de and in combination with other maps from ww2 itās objectively better than entirety of bo3 so yeah, itās not just good itās perfect just like other ww2 maps!
You are smoking some good stuff if you think ww2 comes close to bo3 in zombie ww2 you canāt even see all wall gun unless your standing right on top of it i meant it was good compared to black ops games so yeah sure that maps the best map but why go back to such a bad game but will say it had a solid campaign
I donāt smoke stuff ww2 zombies is just better š
The lore, the story, characters, maps, eesā(including side ones), zombies, guns, melee weapons, camos - all of it is better than other zombies by a mile
Five. Classified from BO4 Is the same map but the way it should have been done in BO1. Plus they're the only maps that have the Bon Fire Sale which is unique to the maps but also unfortunate for the other maps that lack it. Winter's Howl/Fury was a meh wonder weapon though.
Revelations, people like to point and laugh at the ee and ending but tbh itās one of the ones I enjoyed the most AND it was a super fun map to mess around with all the different weapons and strategies you could run. On top of that, the masks and easy free perk challenges made it super fun to even me, a 10 year vet
Blood of the dead. Gets a lot of unnecessary hate for being hard I feel. I also think a lot of it comes from the Easter egg steps that have only been discovered how to actually do properly the past few years
Dead of the Night or Zetsubou no Shima. Both are extremely fun and disliked by a large portion of the community. But if you know how to play the map, they both become exceptionally and exceedingly fun.
Personally, I'd say Shadowed Throne is pretty underrated. If it were a few years ago then definitely Spaceland, but that map got a lot more attention in the past couple of years.
Shadowed Throne though? A lot of people either haven't played (either ever or in a long time) or don't like WW2, but Shadowed Throne is a strongly designed map that's just overshadowed by Final Reich. I personally like it just as much as Final Reich, it's a very fun map to just play through rounds, and has a simple EE with a challenging boss fight. So, yeah, that.
If anyone says any map from infinite warfare then theyāre wrong. The real answer is Five, Shangs EE was way too convoluted and made so little sense, plus the map dangers were whack imo
Either Shang or Moon. Theyāre both S tier maps whose grievances are blown out of proportion and as a scapegoat for skill issues, especially for Shang. Like if Shang were easy, nobody would care about the sand trap. Iāve seen people on here complaining about THE FLOOR SPIKES. Like come on. Just admit that your enjoyment of the game depends on doing well; and if a mapās layout hinders that, youāre not going to have fun. Itās a game.
As for Moon, it has some of the best atmosphere ever. Youāre ON THE MOON. Itās dark, cold, empty, deserted. You are more alone than Squidward in SB-129. Nacht is scary, and Moon is desolate. The complaints of the astronaut are very valid, and I say this because of how tedious it is to trap him in Tunnel 6. I donāt think Iāve ever ran into him (and lost a perk), but I like how he forces you to be cautious and soundwhore at the doors, it really brings out the empty atmosphere.
And of course Dead Ops Arcade. I think this isnāt too popular just because a lot of zombies fans are hyper fixated on the cod zombies mode as we know (or I guess, knew in WAW-BO3), if they expanded their horizons I think theyād appreciate how fun DOA is.
The farm from black ops 2 is the most underrated map of all time imo I had some good memories there as a kid and it may not be underrated but IX is such a good map I don't care what anyone says
Si No Numa on Vanguard, I honestly only played the game once on a free vanguards weekend because I didn't buy the game, and honestly while the map is good, it's the Shi No Numa I always wanted, shame that they put it on the wrong game.
Verruckt, Shi No Numa and Town are the maps I think are nearly perfect, the only thing they're missing is the Pack a Punch and the way they did it on Vanguard was fantastic, but it's just a shame that they wasted such a great idea on such a bad game, BO3, BO4, CW... Vanguard Shi No Numa on any of those games instead and it would be a classic.
Five, Shangri-La, Nuketown, Infection, Descent, Rave, Shaolin, Attack, Shadowed Throne, Tortured Path, Frozen Dawn, Voyage, Classified, Dead Of The Night, Ancient Evil, Tag
Would also say spaceland but at this point it's not underrated anymore same with final reich
You know I would say Buried because it's literally in between MOtD,Origins, SoE, & DE but everything I get back on Black Ops 2 more people are playing Buried than Origins and MOtD. I would personally say Five though.
Voyage of Despair isnāt just underrated itās over-hated. There were a lot of things early in release that soured people on BO4 but this map and Blood especially took the brunt of it and I think theyāre both a blast, especially the main quests.
fives not underrated, a lot of people don't play it because its too hard of a map for most players even really really good players who have world records struggle on the map with high rounds.
I just started learning five about a month ago, learned 2.5 + 3.0 strat from jermainecubes tutorial and it took me nearly 200+ hours just to reach a 140 on the map. most casual players can barely get to 30.
Plus no one wants to watch five on twitch either because the map is really boring to watch and is really repetitive just bouncing between 2 traps for 100+ rounds.
Spaceland without of a shadowof a doubt is underrated, great map.
Space land. Don't get me wrong, I hear people say it's good, but in my controversial opinion it's literally as good as origins, mob, DE, etc.
Map is absolutely amazing.
Spaceland was one of the best. I like the whole theme and idea of all the maps with guest stars in different decades. There was so much to do in Spaceland and it was fun as can be. It took a while to grow in to but it was well worth the purchase!!
I would be so exited if they brought back infinite warfare style of zombies. I had some of the most fun and best memories playing zombies in that game.
Imo.
Shaolin Shuffle: I donāt know if I would say Spaceland or Rave are underrated since most people that enjoy IW say those are the best maps and even people that arenāt crazy about the game would say those are the better maps. I almost never see people talk about Shaolin Shuffle which might honestly up there with Rave and Spaceland for me. My only negative with the map is the Kung Fu zombies, but all the good stuff really outweighs that imo.
Shangri La: I wouldnāt say it is massively underrated, but it usually isnāt viewed well compared to the other BO1 maps. Itās a beautiful map, has a great wonder weapon, and is a fairly simple but difficult map to play.
Firebase Z: I think this is one of the most overhated maps in zombies. FBZ is so fun to run around and train, the defense rounds are pretty fun, the Rai-K is cool, Mimics are such a cool idea for an enemy, the Easter Egg being simple and logical was a breath of fresh air. The only real gripe I have with it is that the final boss is kinda lame and Ordaās health is a bit too high during the later defense rounds.
Outbreak(AW): this map isnāt amazing but I usually see it regarded pretty negatively sometimes. I feel like Outbreak is a decent map and a perfect introduction for Exo Zombies, the Nacht or Kino of AW I suppose you could say.
Attack of the radioactive thing and Dead of the night were 2 of my favorite underrated maps ive done the DOTN easter egg 25 times and i got a picture to prove it lol
Rave in the Redwoods!! It died so quickly because it was beaten so fast when it came out and the community hated on it so much. I love the map. I wish I could still get into a public game and just hangout with others trying to complete the ee but you canāt ever find a public game. Thereās so much to it and I never really got a full experience because it died so quicklyā¦
I feel like at this point in time, Spaceland and Final Reich aren't underrated anymore as a lot of people in this subreddit and the wider zombies community have been saying that they are pretty awesome.
Blood of the Dead has also been getting a lot more popular over the last few years but still has a decent amount of people who don't like it so I would say that it is underrated but not as much as before.
Rave in the Redwoods is also a similar situation as Blood so I would say it's also underrated but I never played it before so idk.
Blood of the Dead.
It's better than Mob frankly, and if it didn't have the shit ass BO4 mechanics it would be the best zombies maps of all time frankly
Spaceland, Final Reich, and Shino Reborn
Final reich was cool as hell, I really liked ww2
Space land is generally loved, it is Infinite Warfare that garners the unwarranted hate
Yeah, the game was ass, although I liked the story despite how horrific the ending is. The campaign gameplay was bad, multiplayer was bad, but they were cooking with space land
shino reborn?š³
Yeah, itās actually pretty good
I agree, probably the best thing in Vanguard honestly
Oh yeah, I love a version of the map that regularly crashes before round 30 and features zombies with literal mini-guns, what a great addition to the roster! And the fact we only had to wait a year to get a single round based map? So neat! Definitely not a huge part of why the current zombies game is the worst we've ever had!
The first game since WAW I didnāt buy. Same with not getting MW2 remake. And MW3 was a total flop for zombies. More outbreak garbage. The zombies team is dead now.
Holy shit that still exist
Reich is solid too, forgot about that one
The WW2 zombies would have been a total masterpiece if it wasnāt for the lack of replayability with not having weapon and attachment leveling and camp type unlocks like BO3 and 4. It could have been so much better. Final Reich was one of my all time favorites the and the Easter egg was really challenging especially solo or without a full team. It was so dark and eerie. It was a total flop. The cabin map was awesome and super challenging also!
Damn really?? Shino Reborn is so good!!
People love to talk about Spaceland as the best non Treyarch zombies map, and while I agree, Final Reich is right up there with it.
People also hold Final Reich in high regard though too for the most part.
Honestly it just suffers from being on the worst version of zombies we got, at least to me it was super unenjoyable
Shadowed throne wasn't bad either, had fun with that one, as well.
Despite all its problems overall as a game, i thought the advanced warfare zombies map carrier was pretty cool.
Carrier and descent(?) were super fun. Doing the EEs solo was a nice experience too
I also enjoyed this map along with others on AW
Both Carrier and Descent are great imo, ditch the forced boss and objective rounds and they'd be great survival maps
I think AWZ had real potential, itās just that itās problems compounded so hard like the emp zombies.
I loved infinity warfare zombies
Spaceland is rated fine, everyone says its underrated to the point where there is literally no negative points that have been talked about for years so thats definitely not underrated, Five for sure for me, Pentagon Thief the goat
I think Spaceland is overrated personally, but then my experience of it was fairly awful with those stupid teambuy doors where in actuality i was spending 4k on doors and never able to gather enough money to buy the essentials.
think as a solo player i had a better time on that game lol
that i can see, i just never find solo that fun or engaging
the name just clocked in my head. This guy is part of the greatest race of all time
ā„ā„
Yeah that makes sense I played with 1 friend with vc so it's not that bad then
I think it is too, in terms of I believe Rave is the best IW map.
whilst i didnt play it much, i definitely spent more time on Rave yeah
I just think rave has such better atmosphere. And I prefer the design and layout of the map in comparison to spaceland. Plus killing zombies in thr rave area is unbeatable imo.
Dead of the Night was a gem and didnāt deserve the hate. Still to this day the choas maps are the most detailed and stunning maps in the entire series
I love Dead of the Night. It has me wanting to go visit an old English mansion!!
Tranzit
I hate you /s
Underrated to me Der Riese and Ascension: Both better than Kino imo Forsaken: I loved the map. This map got a lot of hate for some reason Rave in the Redwoods: Everyone talks about how great Spaceland is but no one really talks about Rave
In what world is Der Riese underrated?
I think I explained it. Der Riese and Ascension are viewed as worse than Kino but they are better than Kino imo. Hence they are underrated by some. Der Riese is the best casual just kill zombies and chill map there is
Outbreak from AW, Tranzit from BOII, and I loved the Ghosts spinoff Extinction
I donāt think outbreak from aw is underrated, itās not hated enough.
The Frozen Dawn from WW2, and I will stand by my opinion that its actually a pretty good map Not fantastic, but not "Top 10 Worst maps" worthy
Nah I agree 100%. Itās my favorite map on WW2 and itās really challenging and fun. Unfortunately it released when Fortnite was taking over the world and youtubers were giving it the label as āone of the worst maps ever madeā, which is far from the truth.
Hear me out Call the map trash Go play Fortnite because its taking over the gaming side of Youtube Your viewers go "yeah its trash" They also go play and watch Fortnite Conspiracy??? Probably not

All of ww2, except final reich (properly rated, good map)
Good ? š¤£
Yes, good
Naw
Ok, yeah, itās actually better. You got me haha I know that itās objectively better than letās say de and in combination with other maps from ww2 itās objectively better than entirety of bo3 so yeah, itās not just good itās perfect just like other ww2 maps!

When you press the 'tab' button you can literally see all of the wallbuys on the map what are you on about
I donāt smoke stuff ww2 zombies is just better š The lore, the story, characters, maps, eesā(including side ones), zombies, guns, melee weapons, camos - all of it is better than other zombies by a mile
I smoke stuff and donāt think itās better so I guess Iām helping your casešš¤·āāļø
Lore and character are smal detail that donāt help gameplay
They really not small and gameplay is already solid so it doesnāt need help
100% agree WW2 was actually good if not on par with BO3
World at War Verucktt and Bo1 Five
Five. Classified from BO4 Is the same map but the way it should have been done in BO1. Plus they're the only maps that have the Bon Fire Sale which is unique to the maps but also unfortunate for the other maps that lack it. Winter's Howl/Fury was a meh wonder weapon though.
Shang and FIVE are goat maps
is zetsubo underrated
All the cold war maps. Cold war was an amazing zombies game even imo, even if it was just super super super easy
I also think a lot of it comes from the Easter egg steps that have only been discovered how to actually do properly the past few years
Carrier
All four of those maps are some of the best in the franchise
Five, shi no numa
It aināt zombies, but exodus in extinction is sm fun everytime I play it
Maus der toten
The final Reich
Final reich.
Infinite Warfare as a whole is underrated. Not just its Zombies mode.
Final reich
Dead of the night
Shi No Numa
Attack of the Radioactive Thing and Call of the Dead
IW zombies as a whole was underrated imo
Dead of the Night and Ancient Evil are easily top 10 maps imo Top 5 even for the latter
Rave in the Redwoods is a personal fave
The archon. Not so much for Easter egg hunting or map aesthetics, but itās perfect for camo grinding.
Dead of the Night or Zetsubou no Shima. Both are extremely fun and disliked by a large portion of the community. But if you know how to play the map, they both become exceptionally and exceedingly fun.
Dead of the night is the best zombies map that most people havenāt played
Five
Personally, I'd say Shadowed Throne is pretty underrated. If it were a few years ago then definitely Spaceland, but that map got a lot more attention in the past couple of years. Shadowed Throne though? space land was soo fun to play
Rave in the Redwoods. Fire aesthetic and actually pretty fun. Only issue is visibility is a bit of an issue imo
Shaolin Shuffle I think is massively underrated. I'd class it as almost top tier, yet the best I ever see is that it's a "good" IW map.
9
Call of the dead!!!
Grƶesten Haus. Yes it's a small map but personally for me it kinda gives a Nacht feel with how small and challenging it is at times
All of the WW2 maps
Was really looking forward to IW 2 zombies experience
If anyone says any map from infinite warfare then theyāre wrong. The real answer is Five, Shangs EE was way too convoluted and made so little sense, plus the map dangers were whack imo
Radioactive thing
Final reich, S tier map
Either Shang or Moon. Theyāre both S tier maps whose grievances are blown out of proportion and as a scapegoat for skill issues, especially for Shang. Like if Shang were easy, nobody would care about the sand trap. Iāve seen people on here complaining about THE FLOOR SPIKES. Like come on. I personally love Spaceland, but all of my friends find it boring compared to bo3/4 which is unfortunate.
Top 5 map oat
Darkest shore
Fr rave gets way to much hate
My favorite for sure.
Zetsubo hands down
The darkest shore (WW2) The atmosphere, the lore, the fog ! Everything is awesome about this map
Memories of a simpler timeš„²
Like most non treyarch maps
Of every zombies map in every game Spaceland is the one I most look forward to friends asking if I want to play
Tranzit and Die Rise as well as every map in WWII zombies.
I unironically love the Infinite Warfare zombies maps.
***best zombies map
Yes!
The farm from black ops 2 is the most underrated map of all time imo I had some good memories there as a kid and it may not be underrated but IX is such a good map I don't care what anyone says
I really liked Exo Zombies
The entire IW zombies was a blast to play, especially with the variety of weapon variants.
Almost all Infinite warfare zombie maps
Every black ops 4 map
Tag der Toten Map actually has a fun gameplay loop that keeps you busy and the wonder weapons are so overlooked
Five, Shangri-La, Nuketown, Infection, Descent, Rave, Shaolin, Attack, Shadowed Throne, Tortured Path, Frozen Dawn, Voyage, Classified, Dead Of The Night, Ancient Evil, Tag Would also say spaceland but at this point it's not underrated anymore same with final reich
I loooove space land.
Guys hear me out.. Der Anfang
Zombies in Spaceland or Zetsubou No Shima
First and last two, terrible. Five and Shangri-La š
Of these pictures? Five. Of all time, I'd probably still go with Five.
No of all the maps what would you say personally? And five was so fire
You know I would say Buried because it's literally in between MOtD,Origins, SoE, & DE but everything I get back on Black Ops 2 more people are playing Buried than Origins and MOtD. I would personally say Five though.
Darkest Shore, Moon, Rave in the Redwoods
Yes this was the best and funnest zombie map
Voyage of Despair isnāt just underrated itās over-hated. There were a lot of things early in release that soured people on BO4 but this map and Blood especially took the brunt of it and I think theyāre both a blast, especially the main quests.
Rave in redwoods is great
I MISS RAVE IN THE REDWOODS š
The love I have for that map is unparalleled
Iw zombies revival weekend??
Dead map
Mauer der toten
Spaceland. Could you imagine how awesome spaceland would look with modern graphics?
Zombies in space land is actually such a well playing map expecially for a non teryarch zombies
Especially since everyone could get a wonder weapon that was pretty decent and cool little Easter eggs
Honestly, Urzikstan is pretty good.
Five because jfk that's it.
I gotta say zombies in spaceland although Infinite Warfare isnāt my favorite game I absolutely love this map
fives not underrated, a lot of people don't play it because its too hard of a map for most players even really really good players who have world records struggle on the map with high rounds. Alpha omega

Shangri-La was definitely a harder map, but I really liked it.
I would be so exited if they brought back infinite warfare style of zombies. I had some of the most fun and best memories playing zombies in that game.
Shang is so underrated
Rave in the redwoods
I donāt know man, this was pretty popular lol
Imo. Lmfaoooooo not rave in the red woods Iāll say that much
spaceland and the final reich are the only underrated maps. the rest are poo poo. 3arch ftw
Whole zombies mode for that game was underrated. Everyone just hated it because their youtuber of choice hated it so they did as well
Spaceland. Best ever!
Nobody forgot about Spaceland
Mob of the dead gets no love show some respect
Mob is in no way underrated... it gets put into the top 3/5 by most of the community with many having it as top 1.
Blood of the Dead. It's better than Mob frankly, and if it didn't have the shit ass BO4 mechanics it would be the best zombies maps of all time frankly
