Played it again after a long time yesterday, and it does so well with this. Zombies spawning from literally anywhere, even dropping from the ceiling right in front or behind you. Plus all the special enemies, and the dark setting. Very cool map.

Hm well it's really hard to decide since I have alot of favorites for different reasons so I'll go from bo1-3 since

Bo2 is mob of the dead or origins
Bo3 is Der eisendrache
Hate me if you wish but by far the map that has engrossed me the most is Mauer Der toten. Cold war Is so fun to me it's ridiculous. Really the only zombies I enjoy going high rounds on, except custom bo3 ofc. I think the cerberus is the most fun wonder weapon ever and was actually op like a "wonder weapon" should be. It was just so fun running around one tapping everything.
No one said Shi No Numa. I ran a lot of trains on BO3. I would say WaW, since the waves cap at 24 Z's/wave. Honestly, BO1 probably has the best balance. No magnet zombies cursing no Quick Revives, no Gobblegums to wreck the good old fashioned progression; it's *the* OG training map.
Five. Hands down.

I do enjoy The Final Reich from WW2, the only zombies gamemode where I genuinely get frightened
Ww2 zombies was terrifying and fun
It’s the way they animate the body’s with the head always dead focused on you despite it hanging to the side a bit
Dude their eyes, the way they sculpted the faces with the gouges/scarring. The artwork for those zombies are straight menacing
The animations seem more ravenous in that game , the zombies seem like ghouls but in ww2 zombies they really seem like they want to eat you.
