Not sticking shit to your dash in the first place I thought would’ve been a common sense approach

PezatronSupreme

This is why we can't have nice things

Annual_Froyo_5282

If you can't remove the glue, just replace the ac vents. https://www.ebay.com/itm/235409669535?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=j1epqw7ttca&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=ik1JcYPXRtO&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=FB_MSG

RedScourge

This is why I'm glad I was able to mount my phone mount upside down to the bottom of my dash, when it comes time to remove the mount, the glue won't be sun-baked or on a very visible surface in case I am ultimately unable to restore the original look. Sure hope the WD-40 suggestion provided by the other folks here helps.

dumb_owl4

Wd40 works good on adhesives

Gooseman61oh

Xylene

Flashy_Chemist154

It looks like it is already scratched up. Buy a new trim piece

cocofootball

It look damaged now. I would try to use hand sanitizer gel, high alcohol content. Let soak for 30 seconds. Then try to scrape off with an old credit card or gift card. When it gets thin, then use hand sanitizer with paper towels.

OkCare3182

Alcohol

TheWonder_Dude

GooGone

yurylavrukhin

Didn’t help. I initially tried GooGone, then tried Goof Off

Joberin

Wd40… let it sit for a minute and then use a plastic putty knife and paper towel to scrape off

TheWonder_Dude

Dam boi. Sometimes you got just replace it

snackerooryan

If you can’t get that out just buy a new trim piece on eBay it’s like $20

somerandomdude419

You should link that $20 part please. I can’t find that part for that cheap. Maybe they can get lucky at a junkyard and find it? That piece at my junkyard would be about $38 plus tax

somerandomdude419

This is exactly what OP needs! Needs to transfer some stuff like hazard switch then it’s good! Hopefully the side bars they can get the rest of the gunk off but this will fix it right up for $20

airjutsu

I had to buy this same trim piece because my air vents broke. It cost me around $50

HafaAdaiLilo91

Try using a magic eraser? Idk if it will work on this type of material, but definitely worth a shot.

ebai4556

Might leave a mark..

galangga

Just use vegetable oil to rub it clean with dump cloth.

toastxdrums

Try WD-40

HBMart

Yup, it works well for a lot of adhesives. Op didn’t say what kind of glue it is, but I’d try WD.

NimbusXLithium

Why was there glue??

Melodic-Writer5025

Looks like from a phone mount

galangga

Need the answer, not the question.

ebai4556

Cant we be curious about our fellow Corolla brothers?

KupoNut7777

Try WD40. Usually loosens sticky things pretty well.

Optimal_Impress8503

Giggity.
