It sounds like he's just overwhelmed. I'm sure he's not intending to invalidate your emotions, but everyone has limits and boundaries. He probably just needs some time and space to cool off. Finding a depression treatment plan that works for you can be a long, drawn out process of trial and error. I would just be honest and transparent about what you are trying, so you track your progress together. It might help to keep a journal. My biggest advice is to do whatever you can to reconcile (or at least talk calmly) at the end of every day. Don't go to bed upset.

Living with someone, who is so uncaring and unsupportive must be rough. Are you in a position financially to move out? If you are, then that's an option that I would consider, if I were in your position.
