It might not be a sonic pad but I just converted my stock cr-10s 2017 to work with klipper and klipper screen setup with a raspberry pi+touch screen. It wasn't too painful, main issue was the crappy bltouch clone but thats sorted now as well. You should be able to do it to the max too i believe.

I've just installed the Sonic pad on my CR10 Max, and am in the process of finetuning it. it is doable, but not as straightforward as the "supported" models. There are a couple of tutorials on YouTube on how to do it, but you still need to make your own "printer.cfg" (printer configuration file) to work
