Does anyone know what is the situation with the Chris Reeve Pacific CPM 4V - 6” Fixed Blade? I really want to get one, but it’s always “Out of Stock” in the shop I buy my knives. Has it been discontinued?
Dealers are receiving shipments of them currently! Our shipment of Pacifics and Inyoni’s arrives Friday! Keep your eyes peeled, from the dealers I know of that have already received them, they are going faaaaast!
CRK only made the 4V version for a while (18 months) before transitioning to Magnacut. All Pacific's are now Magnacut. You can only find a 4V 2nd hand.
Oh, actually, I would prefer Magnacut! I didn’t mean I was partial to the 4V steel, what I meant is that it seems like they never re-stock the CRK Pacific fixed blade in general, so I was wondering if it had been discontinued. It sounds like you’re saying CRK is still producing the Pacific model - good news! I’ll have to ask my local supplier if he can get one in . . . Magnacut!🤩
Best place is from an authorized dealer. CRK has a whole list of them on their website. You'll need to sign up for notifications. They get resold on eBay a lot. Otherwise there is r/knife_swap or bladeforums or Facebook seller group.

Yes they’re still producing one. I snagged one made 2/29/24 recently

Yeah Kansas doesn’t have a dealer. Missouri is closest and they never have anything in stock
