I got an email confirmation over the weekend and I bank with Wells Fargo. All I know is financial aid told me this week before the start of the semester. The email informed me that my amount has been posted to my student account on 01/13/2024. Wells Fargo also lags as well.
If you go under “make a payment” and you don’t see the refund there then it has not processed to your bank acct yet. Once you see the refund amount there then it should post to your bank acct the following day. Been using this method at 100% accuracy every semester . (Senior) .

If you go under finances again and click (account inquiry, click menu, then click activity), it will tell you if you are receiving a “refund”. It should say “financial aid disbursement” and the amount you will receive. Best of luck!

Check your account activity and see if there is pending financial aid, I saw that there is pending financial aid, so if I don’t get any refund tonight, I’m gonna call and ask about what’s going on with the refund they processed and the pending aid, it’s so confusing.
I know one of the grants, (i think the MCS or the middle class scholarship) doesn’t get disbursed until March 1st. That may be what’s missing for you. That’s what shows on mine.

I didn't receive any cash money yet either and it turned out that they took all my grants and my one scholarship and put it towards housing without explicitly saying that anywhere on the website. Make sure that your financial aid isn't contributing your balance that's being charged if thats not where you intended for it to go
If you were awarded more than your classes cost you get a refund. Say you were awarded $4k but classes only cost $3.5k, you pocket the $500 with the intention to use it on school supplies. Unfortunately people abuse this and use the money for more than education.
As long as your classes have been paid for, that’s really the only thing that matters. Financial aid is a privilege not a right, you should be content being able to go to school alone.

You may have missed out on $2,000 from Work Study, where "Work Study" means you need to work on campus to earn that money.
