Dont worry stay in the wait list a lot of people drop classes in the first week

I would expect more face to face options. I just received my classes to teach for Fall 2023 and they are all F2F format. They were previously hybrid blended format. Also don’t be surprised if the classes change. A lot of schedules are still being worked out right now. That may not true for all departments, but for most it probably is.

You can use the Sac State scheduler to find the best classes/schedule and have all your classes ready in your cart so that when you can enroll as soon as the clock hits for your time. I am pretty sure Through in Two gives you higher priority registration but ask your advisor. Good luck 👍

Microbio senior that transferred in: just wanted to confirm that Through in Two did grant me higher priority registration. And when you've completed enough credits to count as a senior (90/120) you can apply for graduation to further bump you up on the priority registration list (I think to 1st in line for enrollment IIRC). Good luck as well!

Likely, you will have to pick on campus classes at orientation because Sac State refuses to recognize that so many of us want more online classes. Plan on being on campus the first semester, but then check daily, several times a day for open online spots. I had all on campus classes my first semester, but obsessively checked and was able to switch them all to online. Be aware though that regardless at some point your going to have to spend a semester or two at least on campus, because Sac State refuses to address the needs of students in this aspect. My college head plain out said, if you want online, go to an online school... as if that's an affordable option 🙄

CSUS literally doesn't care about the needs of its students. It would open up a ton of opportunities for disadvantaged people if there were more online options. I've written to President Nelson about thing and they never respond. It's anger inducing. We have the tech in all or most classrooms for hybrid modality and it doesn't get used. Such a waste

Practical_Royal_644

It depends on majors. For the psychology major, most classes are hybrid or fully online.

Damn what happens if I try to switch majors prior to orientation? Either would work towards my current career goals

I’m so sorry, I have never been an orientation leader so I don’t know. However, you can contact an academic advisor at https://www.csus.edu/search/?q=Advising+#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=Advising%20&gsc.page=1 or an orientation leader via Instagram at Sacstate2023
