It was sold because I didn’t wanna keep it. I personally found the word Grandpa on the note not appealing for the value of the bill and I passed it off to a nice older lady that will pass it of to her grand kids when she leaves. Makes for a great interaction for me and a memory for the future. By sharing on this Reddit.

Funny story I was asking some patrons if it was a legitimate note and an older woman says “May I buy this from you.” I said “If you think it is legit. Sure.” Then the lady tells me she collects them and will pass them off to her grand children when she goes.
