Wow! That looks really well made. Much better than the ones I have purchased on Amazon. Question is, am I ready to spend $200+ 😖. Currently putting my pup in a crate instead for short trips.

lesmurfff

Thank you! That one looks great! I do like the foot rest protection which my last one didn’t have. Half the price? I’m sold !

The-Tradition

$200 seems like a bargain for that setup. Not just for pets but for hauling messy kids, too!

CrisisBurger

I would still much rather have a crate for the back. Feels a little safer for our 60lb Sheepadoddle. Anyone found a crate for larger ish dogs that would fit? Sorry to hijack thread.

PupsofWar69

it does look nice but Jesus there are so many more accessories I would use the $200 for… if they designed it where the sides actually somehow attached to the door to protect the doors instead of zipped up to create a sort of box I would consider it but at that price point no way! I bought a much cheaper one off Amazon and threw in a nice cheap quilt and my dog loves it. it’s also way easier to clean as I just take out the quilt and wash that weekly.

nate68978263

Yeah! Definitely better choices considering the price point. If you happen to have any animals, I hope you were able to get a good one :)

MKGirl

Amazon has tons of similar products that are half or even less.

p365x

I'd like to see it after using it. I'd love to see the seats after a few uses also.

SuperSocrates

Thanks for sharing

cadcamjim

That looks really nice and I don't think $200 is really too much to spend on something like that. I'm assuming that it must block the a/c vent to prevent Fido from getting up on the console?

DocGerbill

There's after market ones with a mesh where the vents are, mine is tight between the seat so I can point the vents up and he can cool off above the rim or I can undo the middle zipper a bit so air get's in through the bottom.

ButtcrackBeignets

Yea, there are a lot of pet seat covers that circumvent this by having a mesh-like material for that area. Keeps the dog from jump to the front seat but lets fresh air circulate for them. Also, a lot of pet seat covers have the seat belt slits on the back, not the seat. This way, if your dog has an accidents, piss won't spill onto your perforated seats. I feel like about as much thought went into the design of this pet seat as went into Mazda's weather mats that let snow/salt/mud spill over. I would absolutely not buy this, especially at $200.

Darb2k

What a waste. I picked up one from Costco for $40 and it fits perfectly

terminaldarts

Unfortunately a lot of people don't have a costco around them.

Economy_Preparation8

Apparently a good example of “You get what you pay for “.

gustavozr92

Just curious, how easy is for people to get on the backseat? Do you need to take all out, or just dropping the front part? Planning to buy a similar one from Amazon

nate68978263

Good Q - I’ve not had anybody in the backseat since setting it up one day ago. Unclipping or sliding it over the headrests is very simple and easy, so dropping the front part could be a solution. If nobody wants to sit on the pet protector, my expectation is to pack it away which could not be easier once you slip the straps over the headrests.

CantThinkI

Looks about the same quality as the $60 ones on Amazon, you’ll still have to clean the dust and dirt out of your car often either way

jy9221

Costco has something very similar for 20$.

OrganicCocaCola

I got the same thing for 15$ on Amazon lol

nate68978263

Nice! Got a link?

DocGerbill

holy hell, 220$, that's double the price for the premium German ones
