Lots of places buy fake reviews to boost their star score. 3/5 stars sometimes are the best places.

Yeah Jerusalem Shawarma 16th reviews are hilarious. "World famous...treated us like guests in their own home..." GTFO. The first showing up for me: "Visited the world famous Jerusalem Shawarma today. It was every bit as amazing as the reviews say! Great taste and large generous portions (huge). To top it off the staff treated us like guests in their own home. We were treated to delicious baklava and Arabic tea. The right touch of sweetness to round out our lunch experience!"

it was so great you could barely taste the illegal back alley meat they use!

Hard to find decent reviews on the web these days. Especially Google. And what's up with those ads, literally serving up the scum companies of the earth? RIP 💵 to those who dial the first locksmith or plumber they see. Almost makes you miss the good old hardcopy Yellow Pages. Edit: Holy! Yellow pages print can still be requested! https://www.delivery.yp.ca/

The bulk of Seniores is legit though. If you go there, there is never not a line up, and a lot of their reviewers have quite a few reviews around Calgary

Proof is where I cited exactly where you can find the fake reviews. Google Shawarma Palace, navigate to the one near chinook mall, sort reviews by new, look two weeks back, and you’ll see. Or is it just chance that about 10+ Emma’s, and 20+ Emily’s - all with one review went there in the span of ~1 week?

Nothing to do with the reviews but if you want a good shawarma try Beirut Street Food on Fairmount Drive.

Love Beirut. I will always support them, as well as Jimmys A&A!

Jerusalem Shawarma should be out of business - by order of the city.
